Good but nothing special

It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Car park was hard to get in and out $30 car parking fee Also a Christmas party going on the floor above with very loud music playing

Greater communication is required.

One staff member was very helpful the following day, after check out.

Lack of communication and mis-communication, and when asking a question the staff seemed either bored with the question or sick and tired of providing the same response. Minibar prices are not highlighted. No free water, or notification of any costs for anything in the room. Most places do provide a bottle of water in the room that is complimentary. Fitness centre is not onsite, there is access to a 24/7 gym that is 5min walk away, but this information is not readily available. I feel the QT should not highlight this as something they provide. Heavy construction is taking place directly outside QT, this makes it difficult to figure out how to access reception, there is construction bunting that lets you know how to access QT but the accommodation provides little information. There wasn't much noise, especially in the morning. Restaurant prices are expensive, there are other restaurants nearby that are well priced with friendly staff.

I looks nice but it’s not so great. Staff lacks enthusiasm and customer service, should focus on service quality.

Great location, comfortable and stylish

Parking on site is charged extra and options of street parking are limited. Waited a while for have breakfast when I was running late because staff was chatting and not paying attention at the door and when we sat they asked us to move to another as they prefer to keep everyone sitting close together.

The hotel was super clean and the beds were comfy.

When we booked we asked about parking as we have a small van, which doesn't fit in all car parks. We were told there was open air parking, but the open air car park was closed. The van didn't fit in the undercover car park. There was construction across the road, so we had nowhere close to park. Due to the location of the hotel we had to drive places. We knew that when we booked. But having to think about parking every time we left was really inconvenient.

Worked hard and played hard thanks to great location, amenities, and staff

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and attentive.

Not that the hotel had anything to do with it, but construction of the new metro line outside kept from another wise beautiful spot.

I always stay at QT when in Canberra. Good location and great feel. Just provide flatter pillows

QT Bar and Grill is a really good restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Pillows too big! There should be a small and big pillow, not everyone likes big pillows which I found uncomfortable. Also, the air vents in the bathroom were very loud and never stopped!

Great price for a quick overnight stay. Have a drink at the lobby bar its cozy and nicely renovated.

I loved the lobby area especially the bar. It felt new and polished and cool. I also loved the affordable price of the room at $210 a night. Location was good too and parking was underground and easy and only $20 or so a night.

I think the rooms are quite dated, especially the bathrooms and the carpet. I did hear that a reno is coming soon so expected it to be like that for the low price I paid. I also felt like the access to the external gym process could have been better. We waited for about 45 minutes for a pass to be returned and would have preferred to have been told there was only a very small number of passes for guests to use. The concierge did call us when the pass finally arrived but it wasn;t very convenient.

Reasonably good hotel for the money. Would stay there again but take my own supply of tea bags.

Staff were lovely and the facilities were generally good. Restaurant food and service was excellent.

Pillows were way too thick and there was no smaller option in the cupboard. I had to place 2 x towels on the bed to act as a pillow instead. Also, not enough tea bags were available in the room and there was no hairdryer either.

great central Canberra hotel w fun bar and restaurant and fun mod art

art bike storage loved view maybe get someone to do a couple of photos of work and a few lines that explain what’s happening so people can appreciate the progress and amaze over the view of such big roadworks.

we enjoyed the stay, the decoration, location and food. But could be better _matress_ for the money

Fun theatrical setting, with a unique decoration. Spacious room, with desk, fridge , etc. A Very nice view from the ample balcony, specially at sunrise! Good bathroom with good quality ammenities. The best hair dryer!

The bed, soft matress, not good for our backs. And the NOISE from the room next to ours. Two nights , different gests had parties going on.... after calling the desk, they sorted the situation...but we had noise until almost midnigth TWO nights in a row... :( the food at the restaurant was very special and good! But there was no comfort food options, (a chicken soup?) wich we would´ve appreciated for a cozy dinner.

The room was clean enough, bed was super comfortable.

The bathroom needs a renovation, it clearly is old, mouldy, the floor of the shower looks yuk, the bottom of the bathroom door is chipped away, looks like its been gnawed at. Not enough water pressure in the shower. Ive stayed once before, and that time and this time i've had to contact them after we've checked out & gone home to get a copy of the tax invoice which they said they would email but didnt. Next time will have to take a paper copy. I dont understand why it doesnt happen at time of check out.

The parking situation around that part of town is always tricky.
