Great stay in Zurich

The location is great 😊 right in the middle of old town facing water. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, it rain every day, so o could not use roof top but on the 1 floor restaurant I had drinks and they were good.Also had the best chocolate cake and I don’t usually order chocolate cakes because I feel they usually are too heavy and too sweet but not this one. It was excellent.

The size of the room was pretty small, the ceiling was low I felt like I was in the attic. The bed was not comfortable. I think it was 2 beds pushed together and was very difficult to sleep because it was definitely uneven.

Good

Only had breakfast one morning as couldn't cancel it after booking had been paid for so what I had was ok.

Unable to cancel breakfast as it was part of the booking which I didnt think was clear at the time and as I had paid for it all prior to travelling once I arrived I was told I couldn't cancel and get it refunded which I was disappointed about as wanted to try the local places for breakfast/brunch. So I paid for 3 breakfasts but only had one on my last morning.

fabulous location, food and staff! front desk team is awesome

amazing location. the 2 bedroom suite was spacious and lovely with views over the old city

Beautiful hotel, great bar, stunning location on the water, excellent service/stafff.

The breakfast was good, I did not order the buffet, just a la carte. Oatmeal was well prepared and tasty. Good coffee.

More choices such as bread basket, yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit, omelettes.

Peaceful Xmas in Zurich.

Excellent position, easy to reach to most must-visiting places in Zurich. Comfortable cushion.

room , while well designed was quite small , we stayed downtown in great locations in five star hotels in Paris , Geneva , Lucerne , Davos and Interlaken on this trip besides Zurich and all our rooms were much larger and similar price

everything was perfect . room very nice good size well equipped. view is very beautiful 😍 🤩 I would like to extend more days but hotel fully booked

entering the hotel from road is little bite confuse need to put signs to direct .if you go first time maybe you feel that no way cars enter .it look like street for walking only

Memorable

Location is the best possible in proximity to all tourist attractions and by the lake. All staff are courteous and attentive at all times. They have provided all out needs on time.

Our baby's Indian food was not ready when it was needed, I had to call multiple times to get that order. Also, for the rooftop bar ,there's no reservation for the hotel guests as it is open to outside guests also.

Storchen Sufficed

location is terrific, AC in the rooms, beautiful view of the canal. concierge staff was outstanding & helpful. breakfast was very good & offered a good variety of choices.

access to the rooftop bar was not readily available to paying hotel guests - we were “fit in” if space was available & no reservations were accepted. drinks there were ridiculously expensive, but the views were incredible! hotel rooms on the smallish side & very minimally decorated.
