The room was a large suite with a separate room that had seating and a small table. We explored the Glendalough and Wicklow area from there each day. The staff in the dining area were very Irish and very endearing.

A beautiful and romantic spot located within minutes drive of a lot. Restaurant, located on-site, was great and staff were wonderful. Views are great! This location was owned by a family I was friendly with as a kid and it was so nice to return to the spot where I hung out as a teenager.
Room smelled of cigarettes even though they say they have a strict no smoking policy. I did advise reception of the smoke smell situation the minute we walked into the room and I never heard anything back from them until I was checking out. The staff advised management would be in touch with me and the reception staff did apologize profusely. I never heard from anyone in management.

Staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much.
breakfast is excellent and a great choice as is getting dinner in the bar.
Twin room very comfortable as was bathroom with power shower.
small issue - I knew it was under refurbishment- it could have done with security light or similar outside of hotel block as was very dark - easily fixed

Everything love it as always

The ease of check in and the fabulous room
Breakfast buffet was a bit plain 1

staff were very friendly and helpful especially those on breakfast duty. reception staff also very welcoming and accommodated a late checkout.
windows in the room seemed a little dated (single pane? and wooden frame?) and were quite draughty. even moreso with the door leading out to the balcony which had quite substantial and visible damp and mould patches.
guests returning to their rooms in the middle of the night (from a wedding I presume) were extremely loud and this could be heard all along the corridor (not really the hotels fault, more just incredibly inconsiderate guests, but it was annoying)

Beds were comfortable.
Food was good.
Most Staff were friendly ,except for a Staff member who said breakfast was finished,if we wanted a Continental breakfast. We were very disappointed to say the least as we weren't informed by anyone that breakfast finished at 10 30 we arrived four minutes past 10 30 .there was no good morning she's was very rude to us. It's no way to treat your guests. I complained to another staff member regarding this, she apologied and offered us Breakfast.
As above regarding the Breakfast.
Also we were really looking forward to the Hotel entrainment on new years eve, I was there with my sister and her friend. We were moved from one room to another bigger room by Staff. There wasn't many people in the room, it was like we were at a wedding. Everyone was scattered. There was no atmosphere, the entrainment was awful to say the least two people playing a guitar the other playing a Tin whitsle. They were dreadful no one could dance to anything we weren't aware it was getting to midnight.there was no buildup it was the worse place we could have spent to celebrate the new year. I've would never spend time in the Hotel for that reason,as we all paid our hard earned money to stay here.

We were at a wedding and the food and service was great. Location is beautiful.
I found the ceremony roo. And bathroom where the wedding was, was absolutely freezing. Our room was cold when we entered and it was such a cold time if year it should have been on. We turned it on ourselves and got warm after.

i loved it all so relaxing

Other than the central location to the Wicklow mountains and the beautiful villages surrounding, above all else the staff made it by far a trip to remember. Attention to detail from the chefs and an amuse bouche to start the dining experience off with a bang. Beautiful evening and beautiful people there to do their best for you. Happily return
You can't stop progression and even though facilities works were ongoing for our short stay the staff and management were very apologetic. I believe that may have even been represented in the very delicious price for two people to stay with breakfast.

Our stay was lovely
