Just got back from a trip to Dublin- the Morgan hotel exceeded my expectations; the staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Right in the city centre so an excellent location.
A special message to Nina who served us in the restaurant of the hotel- she is an absolute credit to the team, down to earth and made us feel so welcome! This is my third trip to Dublin and I will be booking the Morgan hotel when I return.
If we had to mention one thing we didn’t like, it would be the lighting in the bedrooms- as females, we struggled when getting ready with the lights not being above and only getting light from the lamps. This is being extremely picky though and it didn’t change the overall opinions of the hotel!

Location was ideal for my husband

The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are polite and prompt. Great location - walking distance to most tourist attractions.

Nice hotel in the middle of the action in downtown Dublin.

Great location with easy access to Dublin pubs. Nice, large room with air conditioning. Fast, easy checkout.
The bar became a night club in the evening. Could hear activities outside the room at night. Very touristy area.

Location is brilliant! Which would be why this hotel is on the more expensive side

Convenient location close to good restaurants, sights and bars if you're into it. Friendly staff and good breakfast options. Apart from the noise from the hallway we couldn't hear anyone through the walls which is great.
The hotel has a lovely loby and restaurant but the rooms are very dated. It might be due to the type of guests attracted by this location but regardless...the pictures don't match the reality. I was quite shocked when I saw the room for the first time compared to their pictures online. The toilet was all cracked and in generally horrible state, so was the bath and tiles all over bathroom..
There is absolutely no possibility to unpack if you're coming for more days - we came after a month of travelling and were looking forward to not having everything in our suitcases for once but there are only 3-4 coat hangers and nothing else - no shelves, no drawers, simply nothing.
The housekeeping doesn't really care how loudly the room doors bang each time they go in and out. They were banging with the doors for so long it was beyond frustrating.
Nothing in mini bar and the hotel restaurant & bar that provides room service charges additional 10€ just to bring anything to your room.
In my opinion not worth the price.

I had a lovely stay here recently with a friend. A really warm welcome from Zaira on the check in desk who also upgraded our room. Really nice spacious room with a big bed and very clean throughout. Thank you again

very small corner room right on a loud street

Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The room was comfy and clean. Check-out was also smooth. We didn't get breakfast so unfortunately I can't comment on that.
I'm not sure what's happened (besides an influx of tourists) but over our visit in August, Dublin was looking dirty and smelling horrid, so while this isn't the fault of the hotel (which itself was very clean and tidy), brace yourself for a less-than-pleasant experience if you choose (like most tourists) to walk around. It is not a car-friendly area so try to use public transport if you can. There is also no parking at the hotel itself. This wouldn't be too much of an issue since there is a public parking garage right across the way from the hotel, but be aware: this garage smells, is accompanied by urine-wet floors, and I did not feel safe when I went in there alone at night.

Great location. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Would stay again.
Shower wasn’t great. Bars of hand soap - these aren’t great and should be replaced with a pump action bottle of hand soap. Expensive for one night.

This hotel is absolutely not worth the price they charge.
The first night we stayed in a bedroom with a broken bathroom. The flush didn’t work and there was a massive crack in the bathroom sink, which leaked water everywhere. They changed our room, but the second bedroom had horrible acoustics and it was much smaller.
The breakfast was absolutely a rip off. The staff was mostly friendly, but the food selection was so poor and they didn’t ask if we wanted coffee and we had to be chasing the waiting staff to order our coffee. They only serve Irish breakfast and some different dishes like monster fluffy pancakes, waffles and egg Benedict. Do not expect cheese or else.
4.3
Service is not for a four stars hotel.
