Cute apartments above a bar. Very well stocked with pots/pans if you are going to cook, but we only stayed for two nights. Still, it was useful for making coffee/tea when it was raining outside. If you ever needed anything you could go downstairs to the bar to ask for help. They lent us an umbrella too because it was cold and rainy in the summertime (thank you!!!).
The rooms were recently refurbished or in the process of being refurbished, so there was some painting/re-carpeting outside our door during the daytime and the smell of paint. There was no hairdryer in the room (and none when we tried to ask for one) so maybe that could be added into all rooms. It was located in a little bit of a rowdy area at night so maybe not the best option if you are a light sleeper or in the summer when you have to keep the windows open.

Staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The pub was great too.
Nothing I didn't really like, although could have done with another bottle of water and loo roll. When I am away I find I need more loo roll!!!!
4.2
cheap for Dublin
noisy at night but to be expected
4.2
Clean room. Comfy bed. Lively pub underneath.
A few outside noises at night but nothing out of the ordinary. Bin men, late night clubbers etc.
4.2
Lovely property
Not their fault, but a train line goes right past the flat, it is above the flat, and people on the street are loud. If you can handle that it’s perfect
4.2
The bar itself.
Over-priced; too noisy from street (hearing trams plus people talking); excessive extraction of personal information just to stay in a very basic apartment; being asked to provide ID 1st online then asked to fill in another form again on arrival with same ID - like a paranoid urgency to know who you are yet when challenged; owner tries to justify this. Also further intrusion of being grilled on arrival time; cameras all in apartment block including right outside room doors etc. Not acceptable for western standards. Owner won't budge on this due to his culture so I would urge people if you don't like interrogation and noise to stay elsewhere.
Refuses to move you to another room too if you complain.
My photos show view from window, apartment entrance and building where apartments are.
4.2
Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.
Train-line near by can hear trains early doors but nothing major.
4.2
walkable to most points of interest to us. Apt. was pretty well equipped. Nice, that the shower/sink were in separate room from the commode/sink room
The elevated train was within a very few feet of building. This fact was never mentioned in any of the descriptions. Neighborhood not the safest appearing, tho we never had any problems.......but, then..........we generally weren't out much after dark as it was..........Could have used more frequent trash and dirty towel exchanges.
4.2
Perfect location , its near railway station. pristine clean with all amenities.
Building do not have lift . But anyone can help you from Bar .
4.2
The staff were great, even helping us to carry our luggage up the stairs to our rooms.
We had the loft and 3 bedroom apartment on the top floors which both had character and were cleaned very well.
An easy walk into the city centre. Close to the train station and bus stop to the airport.
Out of the owner's control but the area as others have mentioned is sketchy after dark.
From our rooms we could see and hear a number of altications going on in the streets below, some of which were confronting for our 12 year old. But again, out of the owner's control and probably just something to be aware of if travelling with children.

Fantastic location, pub downstairs was great too. Staff very helpful with storing our luggage
4.2
Loved having the kitchen area. Easy walking distance to all places of interest, close to all public transport. Clean and tidy accomodation.
The area around the pub is a bit dodgy but we felt safe enough. Room was quite warm but 2 fans sorted that out. Could have done with a tea towel for drying up.
4.2
Nice rooms
We were 4 60 year old travellers and were put up in the attic. Very difficult to carry our luggage up.
4.2
Above characterful pub with friendly, helpful staff. Good clean apartment, nicely decorated and comfortable. Good location in Dublin, near to Temple bar and short walk to Trinity College and other sights.
The parking nearby was very expensive. A few more plates, glasses and cutlery would be helpful.
4.2
Central location, walking distance to shops and attractions
4.2
Clean room. Great pub downstsirs.
Room too hot, noise from street, neighborhood a bit seedy.
4.2

nothing

Staff is friendly and try to accomodate needs
The bed was filled with bed bugs and we needed to leave in the middel of the night to go to another hotel. The staff was understanding, but this was unexceptable.

The guys were fantastic and the room was so great. Thanks for an awesome time!!
4.2
It was a lovely apartment. Clean and exactly as described.
if you have heavy luggage be aware of the stairs if you are in one of the upper apartments.
4.2
the flat was a great blend of old and new. remodeled to today with respect for how it was eighty years ago. the pub downstairs was totally a neighborhood feel but comfortable for visitors. new windows did a pretty good job of keeping out street noise. separate shower and toilet facilities made getting up and going much easier than had they been combined. we had six adults and rarely had any problems.
the locals do like to party later around here
4.2
Loved the location and friendly welcome. perfect room for solo traveller.
hairdryer was difficult to use as all power outlet are low and cord wasn’t long enough.
4.2
Friendly great location, our apartment was perfectly located for our 3days in Dublin
We liked it and would stay again, nothing to fault
4.2
Clean and newly renovated
Good location close to the bus station
Somewhat noisy: the sounds from the pub, train, and street were surprisingly loud in the room.
It probably doesn't bother you too much if you don't try to go to bed early but we had an early flight to catch in the morning.
It seemed a bit expensive but maybe the prices in Dublin are just high.
4.2
Location was brilliant
Staff sometimes hard to get hold of
4.2
Staff helpful, friendly and approachable.

the bed and the room we were good. also:
• there were 2 coffee pods, 2 creamers and lots of sugar and tea. once we used the coffee the first day they were never replaced.
•on day two there were garbage bags and toilet paper left out in our hall for us(?)
• the windows are now airtight and the sounds from the street and bar are very loud until 1am
• shampoo but no conditioner provided
noise
area - homeless people and urine doorways beside our entrance
garbage on the streets
not a female friendly bar at all
checked in and never heard from again from cleaning to anything
when asked about a possible way to arrange a taxi for early the next morning to make a tour the response was “don’t you have one of those apps?”
I then left and tried Uber - no cars available.
we ended up befriending someone kind a stranger at a restaurant far away who showed us how to arrange with a local service
4.2
Clean rooms and not too far from the centre of Dublin
the area didn’t feel the safest at night for a solo female. the locals in the pub downstairs were not too welcoming, thin walls meant I could hear the people in the next room all night.
4.2
The location was perfect, very near the city centre, and across the road from an excellent Thai restaurant
The room was fine for me.I knew there was a rail track nearby,it was a little noisy but that did not bother me,as I was only there for one night.I would definitely stay there again,if on my own.
