I liked how clean the room was on arrival. I enjoyed having a kitchenette in the room with a very spacious fridge.
The bathroom was small in my room there was no vanity space and the shower head would not stay in place. I stayed for 2 nights and I was expecting like almost all accommodation for my room to be cleaned during the day. However the room was not serviced so I was unable to get my towels replenished and bed made fresh. The walls are very thin and I could hear the conversations of the people staying next door to me.

Daniel at Reception was so helpful and accomodating. Such friendly service that made me feel very welcome and at home. The Hotel touches were very well thought out - If you forgot something, they had little extras to purchase If needed. Lovely clean and stylish room. Beautiful tranquil surrounds in Randwick.
Having to take my dishes to the kitchen instead of leaving them in the sink in the room - I just had a lot to carry when walking out - but not a huge issue. In the morning, the closing of doors when people left their rooms was very loud, but at least the doors are safe and have good locks. Again, not a big issue, but was loud at 6am.

Nice furnishing and general themes.
Reception was meant to be open till 6pm. But on getting there at about 5.55pm (ok that was close) it was closed for the day.
The shower, hand basin, toilet area was tiny and cramped. When you showered the water went onto the floor, which we soaked with the bathmat. But a notice said towels were only replaced every 2 days. We stayed 3 nights, they weren't replaced, and we had soggy towels and bathmat. We were out all day both full days, and there was nobody on reception we could tell this too. Secondly the aircon remote battery was dead, and as the aircon unit was high up on the wall, we could not turn it off or adjust the temperature. Maybe they are cutting costs including staffing hours. It wasn't a great stay, and we have been to many great places over the last few years.

Reception very friendly and professional. Room very modern & clean but compact. Bathroom is quite small and doesn't have a power point. Parking is a challenge on the street. So be prepared for a walk if out in the afternoon
No power point in the bathroom

We received a very warm welcome from Deepak who made our check in experience really smooth. The additional touches of checking us in early, bringing our bags to the room and the champagne arrival was really appreciated. We couldn't fault the room or the location. This was a fantastic stay and we've booked again for December!
Only small improvements such as a communal water dispenser or water jug in the room. All other amenities were covered and if not the staff were happy to help.

Location
Bathroom had mold on grout and inner side of door due to exhaust fan being blocked/inefficient.
This also caused everything in bathroom to get wet from moisture after having a brief shower.
The vanity basin was completely blocked, and the tap was sticky causing difficulty to control the water pressure which resulted in water from the blocked basin splashing everywhere.
The pillows were too thick and hard.

Great
A decent coffee would have been good.

Modern, refurbished and relatively good sized rooms
The location was a bit of a walk/hike to the light rail which we used frequently to get in and around the CBD. The room 301 was noisy with an aircon fan/motor right outside the window so it was churning all night and annoying. Another aspect of the property is the god awful lack of parking !!!!! Good luck trying to find a street car park after coming back from dinner.

Contemporary style.....has been renovated/modernized within the last couple of years.
Room was clean and orderly and well styled.
Located in residential area away from commercial area.
To walk to or from you couldn't avoid hilly streets.

Bed was super comfy, location was great, an was peaceful when come night time to sleep
Shower was quiet small, a larger person would struggle to get in an move/wash body.

Excellent location in the heart of Randwick. Beautiful house very clean room and lovely staff.
The only thing we would say is the bathroom in our particular room was a bit small and has a damp smell. But still a very clean room very comfortable only the smell was a little unpleasant.

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. It was the perfect place to come back to, have a small meal (I liked having an fridge) and sleep, after whatever I was doing in the day or the night. I’d come back and stay the next time in Sydney.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Loved this place. Late check-in process, staff, room, location were all wonderful. Lovely guesthouse, beautifully renovated.
I'm looking to book again but notice the prices have skyrocketed. Not sure why that is. I have put in dates for September and October and they are substantially more than what we just paid. What a disappointment. I had hoped we had found our new go-to accommodation when visiting Sydney, which we do regularly. Not sure why the prices are around $100 more for the same length of stay in Sept/Oct.

Noisey. Could hear people coming and going and doors slamming up to midnight

St. Marks is clean and smart.
The room had very little storage. We would have liked a suitcase stand. There are no hooks or shelves and no towel rail in the bathroom. There was nowhere to dry clothing, not all fabrics can be tumble dried.

beautiful hotel
we extended addition one night and was assign to this room just right on ground floor right bedside the reception. overall the room comfort and cleanliness is there. aircon working well for this room. However, we could hear every guests that walked past the reception and their conversations. Even hearing other guests having their breakfast cereal slurping swaying right outside our windows.

This hotel is ideally located in Sydney. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport without passing through any tunnels, which is critical because tunnels sometimes close. It is also 20 minutes walk from the nearest beach. It is also 20 minutes by public transport from Syndey centre. All-in-all, you couldn’t pick a better location in Sydney 😊.
On top of that, they have nice, super clean rooms. It is quiet, comfy and well-maintained. There is little to nothing we could complain about.
Outstanding value for the money.
The staff is also amazingly helpful.
We came here to stay with our 2-year-old baby. We read that the place had a shared kitchen, but it was hardly a kitchen. All they had was a microwave. There was no cutlery, bowls, or anything we could use to cook some basic porridge for our baby. We were hoping for a mini-stove. There was also no seating inside the hotel. To eat, we had to go outside where there was no cover from the rain, and it did rain while we were feeding our son. So unfortunately, the place is not that baby friendly, but apart from that, it was perfect, so we still gave it a 9.

great location - close to the shops and restaurants in Randwick, transport links to city centre and Bondi Junction.
very comfortable accommodation - stylishly decorated with all necessary amenities for a short city stay.
There is no lift to the upper floor -. We had a room on the top floor and had a large heavy suitcase, luckily the receptionist kindly helped and carried the bag upstairs.
