Location was excellent! Also the property is stunning. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. Pat assisted us with public transportation for a convenient and easy ride into city center. Breakfast was also amazing!

Breakfast was wonderful, starting with the fresh-squeezed OJ. Location was great, easy access to bus and train. I took uber from the airport and to the train station later to save time and hassle. Thanks Pat & Ann!

What a delightful gem! We enjoyed our stay in this charming B&B. Outstanding hospitality, breakfast and comfort in this lovely place. In a quiet neighborhood away from the busy city, but close to the train and bus access into town. Would definitely stay here again!

I had such a lovely stay at the beautiful and charming Aberdeen Lodge. Ann & Pat were so friendly and welcoming - Ann greeted me with tea and homebaked cookies, and she gave me the best! sightseeing tips perfectly fitted for my personality and preferences. She had Enya on her playlist during breakfast hours at the restaurant - I loved that! and the home-cooked breakfast was amazing!! I would come back anytime to enjoy the gorgeous quiet classy surroundings, the nice neighborhood with great public transportation and the warm hospitality - hopefully soon!

saying first that i had experience in hotels since i was an owner of one hotel...i found the service without professionalism, the lady refused to call a taxi for us ...leaving us in the middle of nowhere at 23:30 knowing that we had an emergency because the flight was cancelled. She knew where we were...but she said that she could not call a taxi because she had only an up! bur we know that in Dublin there are radiotaxis. NO Heating in the room

Welcoming with warm drink made us feel very welcome. Fulfilling breakfast with exceptional variations. Also, very friendly service.
Room was a bit cold for our likening. There was no toilet brush.

Our hosts were helpful, friendly and exceptionally nice! Breakfasts were fabulous. The owners gave us helpful suggestions on how to tour the city. We got necessary wake up calls and they called taxis for us as needed. The two golden retriever "greeters" were sweet friendly dogs and we posted their photos on Facebook. I'd recommend this nice B&B to anyone visiting Dublin.
Sincerely,
Mike & Nancy Branigan

Location just outside the city. Parking on site. Great staff and wonderful breakfast. Warm welcome. Loved petting the goldens!
Only negative if I had to say would be the bathroom needs a little attention around the tub molding. Not a deal breaker as everyone deals with keeping caulking white. Bathroom was very clean. Another concern as with other places we have stayed, was hot and cold water pours into sink or tub separately. Quick fix was to draw the bath prior to entering tub to avoid risk for scalding from hot water spout. Note this is not a complaint, merely a caution as we found very common in Ireland.
Note: Would not recommend for persons with mobility issues due to need to climb multiple stairs.

Pat and his staff were warm and welcoming. we arrived a bit early and we were greeted with a cup of tea and cookies! The lodge is close to the village where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and conversation with the locals. Aberdeen Lodge was the perfect place to stay as we recovered from our flight from the States

Great location, easy access to city and beaches.
Simple room for high costs but Dublin is very expensive at the moment.

Pat and his wife were excellent hosts! The full breakfast was delicious with a number of choices available. The breakfast room overlooked their garden area which still had plenty of beautiful flowers in the middle of September. Easy access was available by bus or train into Dublin. Sandymount was a beautiful quaint village to enjoy a supper at as well. The neighborhood is a beautiful place to walk with the sea only a few blocks away. My wife and I and her two sisters and husbands had a great time, thanks to the hosts! We can strongly recommend this place to those that want to be close enough to Dublin to enjoy the sights, but need to get away from the business of the city to relax for the next day's activities.

Breakfast ( those I had ) were very good. Staff are very friendly and cleanliness is excellent. Good location for travel links.
Room tired ( torn curtains, frayed carpet, cracked porcelain ) and poorly soundproofed. Woken up on final night by guests returning to the room above me then again at 6:00 when they got up. Breakfast room was very cold. A number of guests were forced to wear jackets whilst eating. Didn't like having to pay in full before even being shown the room. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to leave a day early and, although I wouldn't expect the room rate to be refunded, I would have appreciated the cost of a breakfast (which I did not get to eat) being reimbursed as a gesture.
