Worked for a stay, quite roomy and well cleaned, but more maintenance on property would be highly recommended to bring n

Pool, good facilities as an apartment, air con, dog friendly, friendly staff, good parking,

Dilapidated common areas, overgrown, tennis court decommissioned, one pool empty and apparently long term out of use, some highway noise. Inside unfinished work on the air conditioner pipe work, low quality workmanship with the finishes, and caulking in bathroom. Aircon condensate bucket overflowed into the cupboards and over hot plates. Small fix would do. Price did not represent quality.

if the price was say $190 instead of $225, and the light is fixed i would stay again,

The bed was comfy, the fridge was good, the water was good temp, the supplied towels were clean.

The light upstairs the fairway stayed on all night. couldnt sleep much because of the light. The curtains could of been a bit bigger so the light didnt go through the ends on each curtain.

Great place to stay with a pooch overnight. Food in the restaurant was really tasty and great value for money. Staff lovely

Its pretty dark.around the block where pets are allowed. Could do with a bit more lighting, especially for winter nights

would not recommend it to anyone. but the reception staff were fantastic

the receptionists Maria, Evon and Kerry were fantastic. room was so beautiful and clean

the restaurant back door was straight across from my room and the chef would come out smoking and spitting on the ground the wipe his mouth on his hand and clean his hand on his shirt. I spoke with the manager about this and he completely ignored me. so I checked out a day earlier

We went to visit relations. This was an ideal place. Would definitely go there again.

We were very happy with staff and room.

As I don’t like sitting on the lounge when eating, perhaps a 2nd chair would be nice, but I’m not complaining.

Overall it was good but will need to think twice before making booking

There was no tissue paper or paper towel to wipe the table even one that can be washed.

The chairs to sit on while having lunch, breakfast was not comfortable. The table is quite high for the chairs.

Exceptional

Golf Place Inn is a gem of a find! The room was large, exceptionally clean, with wonderful views of the golf course. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. The bath towels were so soft and luxurious and the shower had great pressure. Netflix on a large TV, supplies in the mini kitchen and a full cooked breakfast were all an unexpected bonus. The staff were wonderful, arranging a late check in for us and leaving the lights on for our arrival. We will be booking lots more stays.

Great stay, allowed pets and are making great improvements

After reading previous reviews I was a bit nervous but we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, updated and there was Netflix and air conditioning. The pool has been cleaned and I had a lovely swim. Free buffet breakfast was great. The owners are making huge efforts to update and make changes.

Excellent value for money, with very friendly and helpful staff.

Having stayed at Golf Place many times over the years due to its proximity to my elderly parents, I was very pleased with the positive changes under new management. The staff are all very positive and helpful, with a friendly vibe - this is in turn reflected in the excellent standard of cleanliness and facilities maintenance. Excellent value for money and a pleasure to stay there.

The facilities are in need of an upgrade, and I note work is slowly underway.
