The room was nice and comfortably warm, we had everything we needed for a good cooking.

It was warm, I expected the whole apartmant to be colder but it was so comfortable to just be there and it was also good for sleeping. The kitchen was nice, tidy and well equipped. The room was good for us, it was big enough.

Het is een voortreffelijke plek. Voor ons met uitzicht op de kerk. Heerlijk dicht bij de stad . Maar toch lekker rustig. Relaxte kamer, schoon en er waren zelfs handdoeken❤️ Koffie en thee wanner je maar wilt. Heel makkelijk in en uitchecken. Aardige mensen die dagelijks de keuken schoonmaakte. Als je een vraag hebt aan de receptie wordt die heel vriendelijk beantwoord. Ze zijn ook in je geïnteresseerd. Als je daar verblijft en je zelf gaat koken kijk eerst in de koelkast enof de voorraadkast of mensen iets voor de andere hebben achtergelaten. Scheelt weer moneys (Nederlander he hihi) Maar zoals alles hier boven. Alles beviel aan deze accomodatie Ik heb helaas geen fotos van de kamer maar die maak ik de volgende keer wel als we weer gaan. En dat gaat zeer zeker gebeuren

Amazing.

The room was excellent - very warm and clean. It was very quiet and it was lovely. The guest house was central to the bus terminal allowing me to get to my tour pick - up points easily. Great cooking facilities which was important as food was expensive to eat out. Breakfast served at a reasonable cost.

Needs basic signage

Fine location, and I’m grateful we were able to arrive late

We arrived at 1am and saw instructions on the white board for which room to go to - but there was ZERO information about how to find that room. We searched the main building, then walked to a different building several minutes away which contains some rooms and tried our key on those, waking up some poor innocent people. We finally had to call the proprietor who shared that our room was outside, through the yard of the main building. It was a pretty bad experience and was completely preventable. Please post a sign or basic info so that people don’t have to go through this! Also, I read another review that mentioned the wonderful tea and coffee, and that was part of why I booked here. There was only one or two packets of plastic black tea and green, which was kind of disappointing.

Great stay for the price

I appreciated the clear instructions as to how to find and enter the building. My economy room was exactly as described so there were no surprises. The staff is also friendly.

Great apartment

It was a spatious apartment with a table, fridge and small portable cooker rings. The beds were comfortable.

The drain in the shower was a bit slow, so we flooded the bathroom when showering.

Superb

location and short walk to town. Sink in our room and big windows, friendly staff, young man from Italy showed us around and the kitchen was easy to use and espresso coffee machine, and they had boardgames to borrow including chess, our fav.

Good for this price!

All the referrals before I went there had received as an email. and everything was explained in detail. The kitchen had everything I needed. Both BSI and touristic areas were within walking distance.

Igdlo is a cozy, convenient and great option for a night or more in Reykjavík!

the spacious room, cozy bed, limited rooms per floor, shared kitchen, kind host, proximity to city, easy check in

when I arrived the bathroom and kitchen counters were a little messy. The hallway also smelled badly of dirty shoes/feet during my stay.

we are definitely coming back

location was everything , 10 mins from bsi bus station , or bus hotel so easy access to airport or excursion transport, 15 mins from church or bay , the whole old town is an easy walk from guesthouse

their staff are very nice and helpful. the room is clean and comfortable. the location is very close to BSI bus station and downtown. over all, this is really a great choose when you stay at Reykjavik.

Pleasant

Not far from the city centre, in a quiet and residential area; the house is spacious.

We hadn't received the check-in indications, so we had to call to ask for them but the staff member who answered didn't speak English very well and the conversation became a bit difficult. No problem at the end, just a bit of a bumpy 'road' to understand the check-in info (which, actually, are quite easy at the end).
