beautiful hotel that breathes history, very nicely integrated into the beautiful garden
it might be among the most beautiful hotels in the world, but it is in desperate need of some renovation. Nature starts to take over the hotel. I feel like it lacks a bit of management

Absolutely amazing experience at this hacienda. The setting in the jungle is truly unique. We had never been anywhere like it. The buildings are beautiful and have a lot of history. The room itself was lovely, really spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and smelled really nice. The staff is lovely and welcoming and we enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. The pool area is gorgeous. There's a lot of nature around and this place seems perfectly in harmony with it. A clear highlight of our trip.

absolutely beautiful in stunning grounds where the jungle threatens to take over the house. unique in every way. wonderful rooms in the original servants quarters with huge comfortable beds good wifi and marvellous bathrooms. The staff are all friendly and very kind. We both had massages in the spa and they were the best I’ve ever had
Though our room was very clean the communal lounges , and dining area was full of cobwebs and walls had lizard droppings. in some ways it’s very Indiana Jones meets Miss Haversham which is part of its charm

The hacienda is located in the middle of the jungle, it has an amazing vegetation, full of plants, big trees, birds, its a way to re live how people used to live before, very conformable rooms, incredible bathroom, there is no cel phone signal, just wifi that works pretty good, but do to a thunder storm the wifi went out for 24 hrs, it was a good way to get back in contact with nature, full of bug sounds and bird calls, good and clean restaurant, very good staff attention, if you don't like bugs, maybe this isn't the best option for you, many many bugs spiders mosquitoes, they try the best to keep them out of the room but is kind of imposible do to the location and closeness to the jungle, great place to relax 2 o 3 days.
not a big fan of bugs but, the experience is worth it.

I do not have the command of language that I need to describe this incredible place. The rooms were beautifully designed, the surrounding foliage, the walking area, the pool all beautiful. It was like stepping back in time. The breakfast was delicious. What cannot be enough said was the service. Absolutely excellent and far above the norm even in a country that prides itself with service. We will be returning for a longer stay. Unfortunately we took mostly videos, none of which I can upload.

Amazing territory and very nice historical buildings.
big room with separate bathroom and private terrace with couches to rest nearby.
Food in the restaurant could be improved.
it was ok, but do not match the level of the place.
which is sad, especially the hotel is remote and for any other restaurant you have to drive a lot.

the charming colonial building and magnificent garden

The building itself is stunning and definitely is worth visiting. The location is very beautiful. The place feels remote and almost transfers you to the past - a very charismatic property.
However, we were happy to have booked only one night. The hotel needs renovation and general care. For example, the rooms are not sealed properly (crucial because of the insects), mosquito nets have holes in them, the property does not feel very clean. There are almost no common areas for sitting and relaxing. Despite this amazing location, the place feels cold and empty. There is a feeling of decay. The hotel has a lot of potential which unfortunately remains untapped. In general, a very cool experience but do not expect luxury.

Hacienda is absolutely gorgeous.
The hotel quotes the price in USD, but you can only pay in Pesos. The rate is horrendous in relation to the market rate. In my opinion, it's a kind of a scam.

The location is wonderful, with a nice park and an interesting restauration of the Hacienda. The fact that the bedrooms are spread in the park in independent houses is a really good idea and the architecture has been nicely thought.
The hotel is absolutely not maintained which, belonging to the Marriott, is unbelievable. The painting was falling apart in the bathroom, the surroundings of the rooms not clean, the bed outside for relaxing was dirty and full of spiders, there was a smell of damp in the room. The restaurant was not very clean, the service was very poor with people absolutely not involved.
