Awesome hotel, really enjoyed it. Its aimed toward families, I wouldnt come here unless you have kids. Helpful staff and the room was big.
4.1
I love how thoughtful the place is for families esp. preschooling children or younger. They had kids in mind in every aspect of the place. From rooms, to onsen, the pool and even a kids buffet spread.
Nothing actually but own transport is expected or you would be stuck at the resort because it is in the middle of the forest.
4.1
The whole hotel is very family-friendly. When the kids are done eating they can play in the back of the dinner hall and the parents can finish their dinner without a lot of stress. The indoor playground in the basement is also great and very helpful on rainy days. The dinner and breakfast buffet is amazing. There should be more hotels like this!
The nearest town is a bit far away, going to a drugstore etc. requires quite a bit of driving.

There are amazing facilities for kids and families.
It was incredibly busy when we stayed so quite long waits for elevators and very crowded at mealtimes.

onsen ,pool and atmosphere
they did not have vegeterian food options.

The outdoor pool was amazing. They also clean the onsen everyday during our stay. The staffs were really nice and they had everything to support children’s stay.
The food could be better, but the variety they served was impressive.
4.1
The buffet was incredible, both for breakfast and for dinner. The restaurant was huge, with five different stations for food and a separate one just for small kids and baby food. the food was local and seasonal and really well prepared and everything was delicious. And they had a little train that went around the restaurant with ice cream, crepes and pancakes that the kids loved. Inside the restaurant there is an enormous plays area for small kids, designed like a Scandinavian tea playhouse that was a huge success too.
The onsen pool and the onsen area were fantastic and playing outside in the heated pool in the snow was a treat. The indoor playground was great, but you need to pay extra for it. The bedroom was spacious and really comfortable and we had the option of beds and futtons inside the same bedroom.
There is only one choice of time for the shuttle bus to/from Sapporo Station and Chitose Airport and I wish there were a couple more time slots available. If you dont take the shuttle bus or drive, it is a very difficult location to get to by public transportation.
4.1
- Wonderful pool and onsen - all facilities great for a Mum with baby and toddler
- Great play area
- Good selection of buffet food, and again, great for families - kids section at the buffet and a selection of baby food
- Staff friendly and welcoming
