Lovely location in the centre of the village. Superbe views of the mountains.
The appartment was spacious, very clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Great location right in the center of town. Two blocks from the bus. Has two private onsens downstairs. Recommended.

We liked the relatively large space. Kitchen well supplied, allowing us to make breakfast. Great location in middle of town and easy hike up hill to ski resort. Onsen was nice too! Decent value considering all the high priced options in Nozawa. Good for families, although hopefully not next door (noisy!)
Needs a refresh - looking tired.

Staff at Address Nozawa, from when I booked the room was very helpful and informative. Receptionist (Albert) and the other lady (didnt catch her name) are also very helpful. Room was ready when we check in. I would recommend to anyone, but the housekeeping service needs improvement.
There is hair in the bathroom when we check in. Shower can be a mess - hits the window and water running to the floor. Towels are too thin, and Housekeeping didnt refill shower gel and we have to ask for it.

We considered ourselves lucky to have been able to book a double room at the last minute for a very reasonable price. The value for money here is off the charts. The photos didn’t do the room justice at all. Very spacious, nice comfy beds, super cozy and warm with the heaters they provide, plenty of desk space to do work, full kitchen with pots and pans for cooking, and excellent shower. Free laundry in the basement as well. staff was excellent as well and they even give each guest onsen bags as a welcome gift. Location is superb as well, super close to the bus station and food options (great burgers literally next to the front door) and a quick 5-10 min walk to the slopes. would def book here again.
our room was on the first floor right next to the entrance and lobby so we could hear talking and some slight noise from the entryway, but honestly was never all that bad as the overall sound insulation was still quite good. lighting in the room could be slightly better. also could use better blinds to block a bit more light in the mornings and visibility from the street at night. but none of these were major issues whatsoever. they do have an on-site onsen in the basement but there was a slightly off-putting odor so we didn’t use it.

The room is big! There are ample space for a family of 4. The room comes with a kitchen and dining space. The in-house onsen is great. There is option to lock the door and you can enjoy personal onsen time with your family or your partner. The onsen water is Indeed hotter than other places in Japan. So, do take care.
The location is very good too. It is about 5 minutes walk from bus station. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. There is a grocery shop just 2 minutes walk if you are looking at cooking your own meals. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.
Minor issue. Not much of a view outside window.

We loved our stay at Address Nozawa! The apartment was spacious and super comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for any kind of cooking (three sharp knives!). The staff was kind and helpful, especially Kaori-San, who arranged for us to go on a mushroom picking field trip with Aki-San who grows delicious mushrooms in the woods above town. We cooked the mushrooms up in butter and had a feast!
4.5
The tasty DIY breakfast consists of bread, butter, cheese, eggs, jam, fruits, milk, juice, Nescafé capsules and tea bags. The jam from the neighboring Jam Factory at Sankt Anton is outstanding. The building is probably from the 1970s and the rooms have been very creatively reengineered. Would immediately hire the designers. We habe been using Address Nozawa since its start over ten years ago and always love to come back. The rooms have been well maintained and combine an appealing design with a great sense for function and simplicity.
Parking space is somewhat limited, but even so we have always managed to get free parking right in front of the building. The kitchen is a bit small and the refrigerator is not in an ideal position (but unless you stay for more than a week and plan to do a lot of cooking this is not a big deal).
