Location perfect.

Location is perfect right in the heart of Melbourne near Flinders Station. Room decor is dated but clean and comfortable beds. I would stay here again for the location and ease of service by reception. Parking for 24hrs at the Wilson Car Park which was a 2min walk from the hotel was $35 a day, validated by the Hotel. You want a good coffee go down to reception there is a decent coffee Nespresso machine or walk out on the street near the Wilson carpark there is a great coffee shop.

This is a basic apartment and there was nothing I expected to more or less. Not a place to cook a meal as the facilities are very basic. Actually why would you cook when you are in a city filled with amazing restaurants, cafes and bars.

Overall, it has been a great stay.

Everything in the apartment was good. The staff at the reception was superb, friendly and extremely helpful. Few minutes walk to everything.

Wifi need to improve, it kept cutting off. Hot water only enough for 3 people and the 4th need to wait another hour to get a hot shower.

Great spacious comfortable apartment with good facilities in a perfect city location.

The apartment is in a perfect location for a Melbourne stay - Close to Flinders Station, the best restaurants and shopping. The staff are always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The apartment is located in a charming old building.

The receptionist who checked us in was really nice, he made us feel welcomed. The receptionist who helped me on the phone with a booking error was also great and very helpful. Nice apartment, has all facilities.

The elevator is scary, it clunks and jumps about while inside. We also had to wait 4 minutes for it to reach the top floor, it’s only a 5 floor building. It broke down and trapped someone inside for 45 minutes, they had to wait for maintenance. We were also accused of ‘being naughty’ by a staff member in the elevator while checking out, she said another apartment 2 floors down from us made a noise complaint. We were only at the apartment for 30 minutes to eat before we left to a concert (which was before quiet hours) and then we returned later to sleep. The staff were friendly until this point and I feel this was only assumed because we were a young group.

Comfortable, Convenient and good value for money

location was great and the size of the rooms were very good. I worked from the apartment and the facilities were good for that. I felt it was good value for money

The apartment could use some maintenance. All of the taps were impossible to turn off and it is all a little bit run down, however I would stay there again.

Visiting for work,was great location.But I don’t think I would stay here again.

Great location.Beds were comfortable.

Needs updating,walls needed a paint,curtains were ripped,bathroom needs updated,bath very worn.Need cleaning behind bedside tables.Wifi didn’t work.Lifts broken.

The location was perfect for our needs and extremely close to the theatre that we were attending

The room was big and in the best location. had everything we required for our stay. The lift was out of action and i got a call the day before to advise and asked if i was ok going up 1 flight of stairs. I was and they kindly upgraded us. we have booked a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom they upgraded us to a 2 bed 2 bathroom.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable. More particularly the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The room was a little outdated and the sheer curtains in the lounge area were not clean at all. the carpet was badly stained and had bleach marks on the bedroom carpet.

location is great! Also, the staff was friendly and communication via booking.com was perfect

I had an apt in the basement and I was not informed that there are no windows at all. Windows were visible on pics so that was a bit misleading.

Avoid the basement apartment and it’s a good spot

Great location, right next to Hosier Lane and great restaurants of Flinders Lane

The basement apartment is terrible. When booking it does tell you there is no window outlook which we were completely fine with for a night but it is so noisey. Terrible noise from above the apartment and guests coming and going the lift etc but worst of all, it’s right next to the staff entrance for a restaurant. So the constant banging of the door as staff cane in and our, put rubbish out in the bins etc went on late into the night. There is also a sensor light presumably for the restaurant staff that switched on and lit up the whole apartment each time someone went outside. Whilst there is no clear window, there are glass blocks that allow the light in. One bedroom door wasn’t solid and had panes of glass so the light could not be blocked. Finally it stinks as soon as you walk from the foyer to get down to the basement rooms. $200 security hold on the CC takes weeks to be un held which makes no sense when all other hotels either release immediately or take so much less as a security. They blame the banks Overall a terrible nights sleep and disappointing experience. It’s a shame as the location is perfect. I’ve stayed up higher in the building and had a better experience but it was before the restaurant opened so can imagine the restaurant issue would be a problem if you were in an apartment above the laneway the exit was located.

Great service, friendly staff and good location.

Need to replace the pillows with new ones, and do a deep clean of the apartment. Oven was filthy and needed a clean. Free water and coffee pods only accessible when reception open.

A wonderful stay

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The location was perfect, close to everything. Everything was immaculately clean, even though the room and fittings were old and a little tired. Also loved the touch of beautifully fragrant, fresh flowers in the lobby downstairs, near the lifts. Made sure we stopped to enjoy them on our way past every time.

The noise from the bottles being dumped somewhere nearby, day and night, mostly disturbing at night. Some better seals around the balcony door and thicker windows would help immensely. Also the bathroom sink cold tap had a loud hammering issue. Old plumbing. But in saying this, we would still stay again as the location and room were otherwise great for us.

Lovely, aging apartment in a great location

Good sized loft style apartment with high ceilings and windows and beautiful natural light.

The room and the building are showing their age with peeling paint dusty exhaust fans and a dodgy clunky elevator.
