Very pretty and comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay.

A very European styled, luxurious hotel, that, for the oppulence of the facilties, is very good value.
The rooms are lovely and again have a generally luxury feel (increasing of course the more you pay).
Bonus points for their customer service when I left my iPad at one of their other facilities and they sent it ahead to me when I moved to the Rihga in Tokyo.

The view is lovely rooms look out to a beautiful green park … and rooms are large !
l honestly don’t know why bookings.com has this on there website SERIOUSLY
Firstly it advertised a POOL as if you could relax and have fun around it …
You had to pay to use the pool also to get to the pool was a absolute mission and had to ask a lot of staff how to find it and then go through a health club and a non-onset where elderly women were trying to recover from surgery as level five is a hospital in the HOTEL 🫣This place is incredibly weird and it seems like it’s actually a hospital and a hotel where they recover …. definitely don’t recommend this Hotel also it’s in a bad location lacks any atmosphere !!!

Size of the room.
Cleaning.
Position.
Staff does not speak English.
Breakfast could be improved considering is a 4 stars Hotel.
They charge for most of the services, gym, sauna, even though you are a guest of the hotel.
4.3
Quiet at night, but close enough to the train station as well.
Not many facilities available without needing to pay an extra fee.

I believe when it first open few decades ago, it must be excellent of its interiors. The hotel maintain itself so well. We are glad to stay in the room with garden view.
Location is not the best.

The breakfast was excellent.
That the pool cost extra even though we were guest. The restaurants were closed and we never even saw the garden's

Breakfast was excellent. As is the location
The bed was too hard and made sleeping difficult for me.
4.3
nice location to commute all around Tokyo
4.3
shuttle bus
signs your hotel is not actually 4 star:
1. one tiny pillow per bed
2. hotel demands guests pay a fee to use hotel gym and pool
3. reception attempts to charge guest for breakfast despite clear wording of booking "breakfast included "
4. frozen pizzas are sold in hotel lobby which cannot be warmed up
4.3
Spacious room, fabulous bathroom.
4.3
The shuttle bus and friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds and the view from the junior suite
The expensive breakfast and the very expensive cost to use the pool and gym !
4.3
good sized rooms, clean, nice neighbourhood
expensive breakfast, no concierge
4.3
This was just an amazing experience. The breakfast, room, view, everything was superb. I was in the neighbourhood for a conference at another hotel in walking distance, but it's pretty well connected to the rest of the city by public transit, which is SUPER easy to take in Japan if you know English and have google maps. Also, beautiful gardens on both sides of the hotel. Hotel staff were awesome, professional, and friendly; despite English not being all of their best language everything worked.
The only thing I can complain about is that they didn't sell or facilitate interested people in buying the awesome pyjamas and robes they provided in the room!
