Clean sheets, comfy bed. Bar man very friendly, able to check in late evening via the bar. Bar itself looked very inviting and had a nice vibe. Cheap overnight stay.
Door noisy to close, having to use a card to get through most doors - not sure what would happen if you accidentally left the room key inside the room, with no staff around early morning to help out. Mens bathroom: Both urinals covered in bin liner, one of the two sinks also covered. Overall, experience feels much cheaper than the price. Lack of staff really detracts from the social hostelling experience. No bin in room.

The staff were really nice and friendly. The hostel is in a great location. The kitchen is really well equipped. The common room was also very nice, with lots of space, a long desk, plenty of chargers, and some games. While other reviews commented on the noise from The Lanes bar, I personally didn't find any issues with noise.
The bathrooms could have been cleaner. A lock would have been very useful metal cages under the beds for storing belongings.
On my last night, there was also a homeless man staying in the room, which made me and other guests feel very uneasy about our belongings. He was also picking dead skin off his feet, eating bread which was leaving crumbs near other beds, and sneezed on someone else's bed. I felt that such bookings should be avoided out of consideration for the other guests.

La ubicación.
Los compañeros que roncan y (como es habitual en Reino Unido) que algún roedor mordisqueó un paquete de frutos secos que tenía.

I liked that I found clean bedsheets and the shower rooms were also clean.
I didn't like the noise from the bar.

We had the quadruple room 101, was plenty of room, had the basics for a room, nothing more needed for us, toilets were close enough too.
Nothing comes to mind

Very loud music from basement club scene which starts already at 16 pm and stops only in the middle of the night.
No sign with the name of the hostel nowhere at the entrance, instead the only sigh you will find is the name of the noisy club (Lines).

The room was spacious (8 beds) and only had two more people. Great location. Electronic security system in access to rooms and common areas. Very good hair dryer.
The bathrooms on the 2nd floor are tiny cabins, they are in a corridor, they were filthy, without toilet paper, the shower you have to keep pressing a button for the water to continue coming out because it closes automatically, The shower is not adjustable, the bathroom floor is all wet, making it difficult to put on clothes inside the cabins, And there's no way you can get out of the bathroom because when you open the door you go straight to the hallway where people pass by

Its price. I liked the ease of check in and the patience and helpfulness of the staff. The bed was comfortable. It was very easy to come and go. The Wi-Fi was good and quick.
Some of the facilities were a bit worse for wear. The shower pressure was so high it actually hurt a little bit. The iron didn’t work. The toilets weren’t very clean. It’s nothing the hostel could really have done anything about, but I was actually scared for a few minutes on my first night when another guest came in, probably drunk, and either angrily spoke aloud to himself or on the phone (every other word was f**k or c**t), and it wasn’t clear to me whether he was angry with a guest or at something else, but I felt very vulnerable and at risk of physical attack. Not sure if more could be said to dissuade guests from this behaviour? That they could or should expect to be ejected, maybe? It was very loud until 3am, but to be fair, that was advertised, and I was able to sleep okay with earplugs.

It was a very central location with easy access to all surrounding areas! Staff were helpful and great value for money
The toilets/showers weren’t the cleanest and it did get extremely loud at some points - definitely would recommend ear plugs to anyone that wants to sleep before 4am

Staff were very friendly and helpful, walk into town centre not too far and good distance from bus and train stations.
Located above a bar that turns into a club on Friday and Saturday nights, it was very loud until 3am on those nights and the building did not seem to have sound or bass proofing.

It was perfect for what was required. Central location, close to music venues. The toilets were clean. The beds were really, really comfortable and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and the kitchen was massive. Anytime I go to live music in Bristol, I will definitely stay there.
Nothing really. My weren't really high, I was thoroughly surprised by how good it was.
