Not bad for a budget hotel but not as accessible as it's made out to be.
Location wasn't bad and had lots of local food places should we want to go out to eat. Room was clean and plenty of towels provided considering we only booked for 2 people. The room was very basic but we expected that. Plug sockets actually fit a MacBook Charger in too. - Accessible toilet was fine. - Beds were fine and had quick response buttons should assistance be needed.
We specifically booked this hotel due to the fact it was reasonable priced and had accessible rooms. The accessibility factors have a lot to desire. First night we had no problems with parking but on night 2 (in which we actually didn't end up staying) was told to park across the street as their carpark was full and no disabled spaces left. If you have ever tried to use a wheel chair with luggage and having to travel a distance you will know this isn't an easy task and the way the guy on reception dealt with the situation wasn't great. We also weren't asked about any assistance needs should there be a fire - we were on the first floor and didn't know the procedure should we need to evacuate with a wheelchair. All of the accessible factors wouldn't have been so frustrating if the member of staff had been helpful and considerate in the situation but there seemed to be a lack of training in how to manage accessible situations. Facilities in the room: - We had a walk in shower with 2 shower chairs however the one attached to the wall wasn't even in the shower and the second wasn't the most secure to use. - Windows and blinds were NOT at an accessible height. Thankfully I was able to reach as an able-bodied person but should my client be in that room alone she wouldn't of been able to open & close the window or blinds as both were too high to access from a wheelchair...

Heating in one room didn’t work but the man on reception gave a heater to use

Lacking quality, comfort, space and value for money.
Ideal location for staying the night when playing ice hockey at the ice rink.
Room was £130 per night for an ibis budget hotel. The facilities were far below budget but the price tag was not budget. I have stayed in very nice 4* hotels in London for the same fee. The room was tiny, the toilet and shower were so compact they were uncomfortable to use and the beds were solid.
