No tv for the football

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Two Rivers in Chepstow. It’s just a really convenient and cozy place to stay. It was perfect for us getting out of 24hour transit to roll into the car park and straight into our room, which was new and clean. Having the pub/restaurant right across is also really handy. Breakfast was delicious, staff were lovely and accommodating. Just a stroll into Chepstow town centre. Love staying here and will again.

Generally liked everything about this two day experience, particularly the staff.
Room was spotless and very comfortable but while its simplicity was appreciated it could have had a real full length mirror that wasnt divided by a shelf that blocked most of the lower body, and a safe for client valuables.

Great location to participate in severn bridge parkrun.
The Manager was very helpful -- we were provided with a cot for our newborn and an early check in which we did not expect.
To be fair he was very likeable and had a passion about how he ran the place.
The location was great and was easy to get into town to visit the coffee shops, if using public transport its like 800m away from the stop.
I was very pleased with my stay & would recommend to friends.
Would love a pool.

Superbly well presented pub with amazing bespoke furnishing. Great atmosphere. The hotel lodge is located directly opposite - basic - but immaculate.
No negatives. The hotel room was a bit on the small side. The food in the restaurant was a little on the expensive side. Wetherspoons is only a short drive down the road into Chepstow.

Stayed for three nights visiting Chepstow and the races. Excellent customer service from everyone we met. Food very tasty and varied menu.
Room very clean and modern
All good

Accommodation was very good and the housekeeping of a very high standard.
The waiting staff were very friendly and eager to assist, though we had evening meal twice during our 2 night stay and on both occasions we had to remind staff about our additional side order.
First breakfast was restricted to continental breakfast as the staff apologised for the breakfast chef not turning up. When he did turn up (at 9am), the two front of house staff were overheard saying that the chef said, "well no-one usually turns up for breakfast till 9 anyway".
Appalling attitude from a chef and those that had turned up should be wary of unguarded comments in front of customers.
