Great location, for visiting surrounding towns .

The SHOWER! And the fact it’s in a great location, even though it’s near a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet.

As a family room, having a bed settee, it could do with having at least a small coffee table to rest your cups etc. on. Apart from that, I can’t fault it.

Rooms definitely in need of updating

warm and comfortable

Decided to have a bath, bad idea 👎, water going into the overflow leaks under the floor covering (linoleum) made a BIG puddle and wetting the carpet in several places! Definitely needs looking into.

Still trying to erase it from my memory!

Had to jump out of a wedding 10 miles away because place would not allow even a bag drop earlier than desgnated check in of 4:00 pm. Then insisted in charging me again before handing over keys even though I had paid booking.com 2 weeks before. Took over a month of pestering to get my money back. Car park had huge rats running around! Foyer and corridors were filthy and room felt dirty. Finally I booked a room with 2 single beds but were given a double which they said could not be changed (even though the place looked mostly empty) so given I was with my sister I had sleep on a dodgy sofa!

Poor condition, need better maintenance

Good location.

Terrible room. Even though the hotel was almost empty I was given room 16 which is in a terrible condition with a poor bathroom. The shower was blocked and didn’t drain, the room is right by the entrance so noisy when people arrive and leave. The bed felt like it was broken and the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable.

Great value for money

Affordable and good sized rooms. Tea and coffee facilities, however only 1 mug and glass in our room and the two rooms of the rest of our group.

Carpet could do with a clean. No fans in the room and no staff to approach quickly as check in is in the petrol station

Distgusting

Nothing worked in the hotel and it was very dirty including the bed sheets and mould on the floor and damage to the tv and rails in the bathroom also dust everywhere also the blinds were broken and the paint around the walls were very marked and grubby. I also tried to get in contact with the property but I haven’t had any response after months. Also there was no security to the hotel as all door and fire exits were propped open.

I had a dirty pillow in my room it was covered in make up the beds wasn’t made properly towels were chucked on the end of the bed the chair was blocking the door when trying to get in the room it was like the cleaners had forgot to finish what they started

Basic, but adequate

It was a great location for what we needed, room was comfortable, very ‘lodge’ like, so knew what you were going to get. The staff in the Asda where you checked in and out were great, very friendly and helpful.

It was a bit dirty, where someone had dusted, you could see the sweep of the duster on the shelves and the corners were thick with dust! The bottom shelf had rubbish, tablets on there and they looked like they’d been there a while covered in dust. But it was one night and it wasn’t the end of the world!

You need your own transport to get to places as there is nothing around where the accommodation is situated

Awful this time! The bed wasn't made! The room was not cleaned! I had to change the bed sheets! Totally unacceptable! Fully refund would be fair!

make sure you see the staff write on the house keeping sheet if you book a late checkout

easy to find

the staff, paid extra for a late check out was woken at the earlier checkout and demanded we leave as there wasn’t communication between the staff and the house keeping who basically called us liars when I full well paid the extra
