Loved Inverness, establishment looks good at first, but ruined our backs..

Staff were nice and polite. Establishment looks nice.

Room 17: the mattress was so melted that you were reaching the “base” of the bed. Only the borders of the mattress have survived. You were sinking immediately, we were two people sleeping and this was making it even worse. Floor was feeling that will collapse and you will end up downstairs. Shower was clogged. Door was closing/locking, but practically was not “fitting” the wall and you could see the light out around it, hear everything, it was operating like being “open”. And ofc everyone could hear you.

Nothing we didn’t like but things to think about. If staying for more than a few days the bathroom is a typical small ensuite - perfectly functional and good value for the money but some people might struggle with the size if say staying for a week. It can’t be any bigger as the owners have done a sympathetic addition to an old property. Our room was lovely and big but on the ground floor right by the front door. We were lucky as everybody was in quite early and reasonably quiet on entry, but we did wonder if less considerate people were staying. This would not stop us staying again.

Warm, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Central location

Shower door would not close so had to put towels on bathroom floor. Single room was quite small.

We spent most of our time away sightseeing and exploring the city, so only needed a place to sleep and shower. This place was perfect for that

Room was very spacious and clean. If you like warm you could put the radiator on. Only 15min walk from town centre.

The room was next to the street which if you have light sleep might be a problem as there were car passin till late night and early morning.

Would definitely recommend this guest house .

Location was within walking distance to town. Very quiet area and room was very comfortable. Lovely Bakery not far from accommodation and lots of cafes in town.

Maybe a bar fridge.

Great room and central location

The room was comfortable and quite spacious. A good place to start our journey through the North of Scotland. The shower was warm and the bathroom was very clean. For the budget price, the room was good and the staff really friendly. Super easy to get into central Inverness too.

The house was a little loud - the walls were quite thin and we could hear some snoring from a neighbouring room, but managed to tune it out.
