Fabulous stay, had the best time, wonderful location and staff

Had a fantastic getaway with my husband for the weekend. The room was huge and the bed was comfy. The location is just fantastic and the people in reception were really helpful. The hotel is uniquely decorated so it feels different to other hotels and stands out.

Disappointing.

Location and clean

I choose and paid for an upgrade ( deluxe king room ) based on an email offer to return return after following a previous stay. We were checked into a basic room with a small window view into the hotel staircase. Although they switched us to an another room for the next two nights which was “ handicap “ with a larger bathroom… the room itself was small and not the 33 m size shown on booking photos or room details. We were disappointed that we cancelled an another booking in a nearby hotel and had expecting better from Hotel 115. No offer was made to acknowledge the shortcoming ( such as free parking) for the inconvenience or misleading presentation of room descriptions. We most certainly would not have stayed had we realized the upgrade was merely for a king sized bed with a staircase and or metal roof view.

Good for a couple not good for a family

Location was ok

Tv reception very poor couldn’t watch tv at all, we booked the room thinking their was a pool so we could all go for a swim but apparently it was across the road and 18+ only if I had of known that I wouldn’t of booked under ground car park was terrible my car couldn’t fit in it or couldn’t get out of my car once parked so had to park around the corner in Wilson’s parking rooms are very small.

Handy location

The Hotel was decorated with an Artd Deco style. We were able to access our room via the elevator which was convenient. The Tram stop was next to the Hotel which was pleasant a novelty and we were able to dine on the Restaurant tram which left near by and under cover. In the hotel we did not hear the tram at all.

Our rooms window had a view of the wall of adjacent building with a slight view of road and bus stop. We did not mind as we were staying only two nights and we were exploring during the day.

Great location, pleasant room.

Clean and tidy room.

Single use shampoo and conditioner could be replaced by refillable to reduce waste. Same with the tiny milk containers, replace these with refillable, small glass bottles to reduce waste. Put a sign in the bathroom to provide an option to reuse the towels.

Enjoyed apart from fan of cold air

Clean , huge bed, central to city and convenient to trams

Constant cold air blowing in our room . Ask in reception about turning it off to be told it doesn’t go off . Room was very cold and constant fan noice from this too. Such a pity as otherwise great stay.

We will be back and won’t stay anywhere else. Paid parking is great as well your car is a safe and secure

Loved its quirkiness. Staff were excellent and helped when required. Asked for a balcony room and it was there for us. Standing watching the trams from your balcony you cannot experience that anywhere else something so special.

A plus on my short stay

location was excellent. I came up for a concert at Town Hall which was a short walk away. Plus I loved my wee balcony

I wished I'd stayed longer...I had to leave earlier than anticipated due to a family problem

Good location, cute hotel

Clean and located well. Considering its location, it is very quiet, even with the tram

It needed to at least have a small plate with knives & fork. You had nothing to even eat your lunch off

Would stay again if travelling by myself but would look at alternate options if travelling as a couple.

Location was fantastic and property was clean,

Room was too small for two people and the shower screen had been replaced with a curtain which unfortunately caused water to go everywhere.

Gym facility was really good.

Room was smaller than expected. Small tv with limited selection. No outlook. Didn't reflect price compared to new 1-bed apartment including full kitchen, with extensive city views in Australia.

Friendly staff and great location

I received a surprise upgrade from a standard room to a King's room. View was great overlooking the conference center and Christchurch cathedral. The location is very nice and central at the back of Regent street and where the Tram starts.

Heater in the bathroom was broken which was quite cold.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

We were very warmly welcomed by the young lady on duty and also farewelled by her.

The tv was inadequate as the lower part of the screen was missing and also Sky Sport was not provided.

If you are looking for a comfortable stay in a central location, Hotel 115 is worth a look.

Very generous facilities in a most convenient location in central Christchurch. We were very well supplied with refrigerator space!

Warm and inviting!

Lovely rooms, unique decor, love staying there.

Could do with a wee update here and there with cabinetry. It doesn’t affect the experience though. I don’t think my room had an aircon could become very uncomfortable if hotter.

The location right in the city was fantastic for me. Easy to walk places and the tram was downstairs

The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Very good shower pressure although the floor was a little slippery.
