Die Lage war toll mitten im Zentrum mit Blick.auf den Dom. Nachts war noch lange Trubel um das Hotel herum - aber das ist okay mitten in der Stadt bei Superwetter.

Location is fantastic. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.
Nothing. All is great!

Excellent location and reasonable price (especially for the area). The rooms are comfy and have everything you'd need and the staff are friendly. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main station and very close to the stop for the Line A bus (if you would prefer to not walk). Main attractions in the old town are all within very easy walking distance from the hotel and bus stops for further local trips are only about 5-10 minutes away.
This is my second time staying here and I will always consider this hotel when I travel to Regensburg.
I only have two issues with this hotel, the larger one is the soundproofing: I sleep with earplugs in so this isn't a problem for me, but if you don't have them you will be able to hear the corridor on your floor and some of the other rooms.
The only other issue is much smaller (especially when the breakfast is usually included), but I would love to see some cooked egg available at breakfast (the breakfast gives you some decent options for bread, meats, cheeses and sweet things - but nothing warm).

Location. Breakfast room.

Very clean room and bathrooms. Perfect location right in the center, you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was good, but rather small. No warm food like scrumbled eggs. But tasty and nicely put together. Also breakfast room is really cool with the high ceilings, very medieval. Comfy beds and nice duvets. Very friendly staff.
Rooms were a tad cold due to bad isolation. Windows must be as old as the building. Same goes for noice from outside. The windows don't block any noice and due to the location many party goers walk by. Definitely recommend to bring ear plugs. I did bring them however and slept like a baby. Parking is about 4 min by foot and costs 9€ a day.

Value for money traditional hotel in the centre of Regensburg. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Good restaurants, shops and parking nearby. Everything at walking distance. Good breakfast.
For the room price nothing.

The place was spotless. Staff was wonderful and location was right on.
The breakfast was good but a little sparse.

Excellent location in the old town and near the electric Altstadt bus stop, for easy access without a car (or for those that can’t walk as easily).
Bus stops to other parts of Regensburg are only 5 to 10 minutes away on foot and you can easily access all historic sights and locations of old town from the hotel.
The rooms are clean and a nice size with great facilities. The breakfast also has a decent selection of cold savoury and sweet items, with bread - while the staff on reception and at breakfast were very friendly every time I spoke to them (even when my ability to try and speak German completely fell apart one morning)!
I only have a few ‘negatives’ about this stay.
The only ‘major’ one is, the room is not soundproof. So you can hear other doors and people in the hall all of the time, the noise from outdoors is also noticeable - so I’d recommend earplugs if you’re bothered by noise or a light sleeper.
The hall lights also stay on all night so that can be a bit disturbing, from beneath the door, if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing.
The breakfast selection is not huge and there is no warm food available. This is not something that really bothered me, but is something to consider if you want that from a hotel breakfast.

Very nice location next to the cathedral
Bath room was a little bit narrow, but still livable.

Everything was fine including the cleanness, and the room and other stuff. The breakfast and the behavior of staff was fantastic.
The internet signal at the 4th floor was very weak. I had problems with the internet. Also, the windows were old and could not block the noises coming from outside. There is a tall church in front of the hotel and many people in the street which produces huge amount of noises. Thus, such noises are shared with the hotel's guests! These were unpleasant indeed.

The hotel Kaiserhof am Dom is a lovely hotel with very clean and nice rooms. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety and plenty of cold food, but no hot meals (scrambled eggs or fried bacon), and the ladies for some reason could only serve coffee or tea in tiny pots, so we ordered two or three of them in one go simply to avoid having to call them back for refills. The medieval vaulted breakfast room boasts huge windows that face the front of the cathedral right opposite the hotel; the view is simply breathtaking.
There is nothing the hotel can do about this, but noisy students roaming the city could be heard in the middle of the night, especially at the weekend. Also, the cathedral rings its bells at 6am, and again at 7am, every day - we loved this, but others might be surprised ..... all in all, it is a perfectly located hotel in the heart of Regensburg.

The room is clean and comfortable. Great location right in the centre of the old town and also walkable from the train station. Very grand breakfast room!
The only thing was that the WiFi signal was quite weak in the room, though fine in the lobby.

Excellent breakfasts. However te making facilities should be provided at the price charged
No tea making, so no mini fridge. It need not be stocked but with temperatures in the 30,S and no cold water, and no kettle dehydration was an issue

The location was superb. In the middle of the old town, near many restaurants. The service was friendly and nice. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The hotel had a very nice old and cozy feel.
The toilet was very narrow. The room didn't have air conditioning. The room doors were very thin. The breakfast was mediocre (very dependent on bread). The rooms had actual keys with very bulky keychains instead of contemporary cards.

A classic European hotel, excellent old building completely upgraded and spotless. Very friendly and attentive staff, comfortable room. My favorite spot in Regensburg after my fourth visit.
The Domplatz was quite noisy at night but I figured out that running the fan made it easy to sleep well.

The staff is very friendly and nice. They have 0-24 reception. The breakfastroom is beautiful and the selection was huge. Good location for a stopover and quick city exploration.
- THERE IS NO WIFI; I was looking for the info in the room for the wifi name and password and found zero mention of it anywhere. Thanks for the 0-24 reception I called them and they said there is a connection called "Telekom" I can connect to, it doesn't need password. Oh okay then. So they just have an unsecured wifi that had no internet, anytime I opened anything it disconnected and switched to 4G. What even?!
- Found PUBIC HAIR on the sink and on the toilet seat, nose or beard near the tap and a long red hair on the bed.
- The showerhead is horrible, the kind where the holes are small and there are very few of them and the waterpressure is huge so it actually hurts your skin as it is like a pressure washer/dagger combination, very uncomfortable and not the refreshing end to a long car ride I was looking for.
- There weren't any hooks on the wall or doors to hang our coats or hang the towels or anything, very weird.
- Weird yucky naked foot imprints on the floor right next to the bedside table, do they ever mop it I wonder?
- Our window had the beautiful view of the kitchen.
- There are no scrambled eggs or any freshly made egg options.

Perfect location, simple room but good. Breakfast room staff very friendly.
Receptionist guy who was not wearing a mask at all was questioning me why I have a normal mask on and not an FFP2 in a very unfriendly manner.

Front desk staff was wonderful as were breakfast staff and sumptuous breakfast.
Stayed on the top floor. The lift went to the floor below, so had to carry bag up the stairs. Hotel could use some brightening and updating of decor.

Perfect location friendly staff clean room
Room is basic but it is ok for short stay. Hotel is very noisy echoing
