Everything we could need for our stay was there - so comfortable and welcoming. Perfectly fitted out for any length of stay. The host even helped move the ice from around our car / couldn’t do enough for us.
Nothing it was a great lodge in a fantastic location.

The hosts were there to greet us, but the keys were left for us, so that we could get into the property. The property was idyllic, it is a self contained place with a private garden that looks over the fields with two beautiful horses to keep you company. It is within walking distance to Eyam across the fields and is close to some wonderful walks and cliffs for rock climbing. There is a pub a short walk away but to be honest it was so beautiful and tranquil that we didn’t feel the need to leave. Excellent base for visiting nearby attractions including Chatsworth House, the plague village of Eyam and the many other places. It is in close proximity of Buxton, Bakewell and many other towns/villages. Overall I would highly recommend anyone to visit the lovely property Kingfisher Lodge. Dogs are welcome and our little lad Floyd had the time of his life and made friends with the horses. Perfect!!!!, 🥰😁
The only teeny tiny thing was the bed, but it wouldn’t stop us staying again. Other than that everything was totally brilliant. We are planning our next visit for later on this year as we want to try out the fabulous fire that is in the property in the winter months.

Lovely location, accommodation warm and comfortable
Took a while to find the lodge so a sign on the actual farm gate might help?!

Cosy lodge with nice views and animals to enjoy while you’re there. Great if you’re getting away from city life! The bed was comfortable and the blinds were good quality, so had a great sleep. Just be aware that there are horses next door so you may hear them make the occasional noise. I loved that though, very charming.
