Sufficient and Basic
The staff were friendly and there was a free car park.
The room was very basic and had a bad smell to it. On further investigation there was a dirty / soiled sanitary bin, which I don’t think is required in the room, a small bin that is changed daily would be sufficient. This smell really had an impact upon the room and my stay, it made the room feel dirty. There was also no tv in the room. This hotel felt more like a hostel rather than hotel.

Overall, a pleasant comfortable stay for the one night.
Breakfast for lovely Continental, but we wanted
Interior doors fire doors were a little bit noisy so flows in but made a noise. Could air next door also noisy outside with traffic people walking by.

Dissapointing
Clean but very small rooms
Room was very hot, breakfast was a real dissapointnent as we booked this hotel and paid more money just to have a breakfast. But there were only toast and jams some fruits and cereals.. so wouldnt come back here, would rather get cheaper hotel and go somewhere nice for breakfast.

This is a £30 per night dump, not a £90 per night hotel.
Well, the location is great and the staff is very friendly and professional. We even got offered a bite to eat after the official breakfast hours. 👍
To describe the property, or better the room as basic would be the understatement of a century. The walls are thin as paper and therefore, there is constant noise. You will be woken up by someone talking in another room on the same floor, or by them showering early in the morning. The bed is quite small and the mattress is one of them old spring mattresses, that shakes and wobbles with every move. This needs to be updated ASAP! The “blackout curtains” are about 5 inches too short, so that one will enjoy the first rays of sunlight early on in the day. It’s a detail though since one has most likely been woken up by their neighbors or that shite mattress anyway. My favorite has been the motion sensor light/fan in the bathroom, which is exactly what you want, when you go for a little tinkle in the middle of the night. And the fact, that it doesn’t turn off for about 20 minutes, and that I had enough time to count that at 2 am, after enjoying the drunk conversation of the lads next door, made the stay so much more special. What happened to the good old light switch? Too basic? The hairs in the bathroom and the stale and definitely dirty water in the toilet brush holder are not necessarily counted positively towards the cleanliness, and I don’t even wanna know what I would have found in the room if the carpet wasn’t conveniently dark. 🤢 In a nutshell: Never again.
