Quality of rooms needs updating. Bed springs have all gone causing me to roll to the middle.

Location was perfect for our purpose. Dinner was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had was perfect.
Water power could be stronger although the bathroom is beautiful.

Good food. Comfy room
One of radiators could not be turned off so room too hot. Traffic noise.

Very nice place. Rooms are very good and spacious. Clean and well equipped.

Room was comfortable.
Food was well cooked and plentiful.
I would have liked an extra a little extra lighting in our room.
The shower head did not work fully but we did raise this with the manager.
4.5
The restaurant and the beer. Very good breakfast - exceptionally tasty.
Nothing really.

Good location for Vale wildlife hospital with gorgeous rooms, nice garden and great food and of course fabulous Butcombe brewery beer.
That I couldn’t stay longer

Room was large
Complimentary prosecco available on previous trip was not available...it was those little touches that had made me book a 2nd time

Comfortable room. Wonderful staff, good reasonable food, value for money, exceedingly dog friendly, helpful management
This is not a hotel for infirm people. It is 300 years old and has narrow steep staircases and many unexpected steps. There are rooms with walk in showers, but it is difficult to use bath showers with a bad back. Even so staff will carry your cases upstairs

The place was incredible. Anita particularly was superb and the service from all the team was perfect. The staff really couldn't do enough. Evening meal and breakfast was delicious. Facilities for the dogs were excellent and they were made to feel welcome. Would definitely stay again. Thank you
Toilet seat was wobbly

Very good. I chose a continental breakfast, muesli and toast.
I would have preferred toast made from ordinary bread rather than sourdough.

As a solo female traveller, feeling safe and secure when booking into a hotel room is extremely important. So, on arrival at The Beckford Inn, I was so happy to receive a very warm welcome from friendly staff who also carried my case to my room. Complimentary drinks in the room was a lovely and unexpected touch. The room itself was super clean and tidy, very soundproof, bright and airy and beautiful bathroom/shower with quality Bramley hand wash etc. The decoration of the room was perfect and the bed extremely comfortable. Large TV, free wi-fi worked very well. Booked a table for evening dinner and invited family to join me. Service was superb, the food was exceptionally good and everyone enjoyed their food. Lot's of choice for breakfast the following morning. I chose the plant based full english and it was the best breakfast I had eaten in a long while. The whole stay was perfect, only wish I could have stayed longer. Well done to the front of house staff, the kitchen staff, waiting staff and the housekeeping staff. Nobody let the establishment down. Excellent stay, they are the standard everyone should aspire to.
Leaving. There really wasn't anything not to like. Good for the solo traveller, couples and families. I'm skeptical to leave such a good review as part of me wants to keep this little gem just for me.

Very well located to explore the Cotswolds.
Excellent food and very nice beer from the Butcombe brewery.
Very nice room and the owner is glad to help out where he can.
One needs to remember that on Sunday's food is served only until 16h.

We have stayed in the Beckford Inn a few times, it's right by our friends we see while we are theretger, very clean lovely sheets and towels, best of all the breakfast 10 out of 10
There was a noise think it was the generators but not sure.

From the moment we arrived, we were looked after by the staff all of whom were friendly

Quaint property
Rooms reflected the lovely age of the building
Service was excellent
Room fitout excellent
3.5
Friendly staff. Good locally produced food. We enjoyed evening meal and breakfast. Not over priced.
Beer garden and shaded area out the back.
Quaint thatched village.
The room was tiny!
Could just walk around the bed and the en-suite was so small ( we are not over weight) had to turn sideways in some places 🙉
It looked bigger on the advert and for price paid expected it to be.
The bed looked so comfy and inviting but the pillows were so plump that they were uncomfortable and although we tend to like a firm bed this was uncomfortably so.
Not a good nights sleep.

Very good breakfast choice and good service throughout.
Surprised given the overall standard of the hotel that the Conderton Room we were in had artificial plants which were out of keeping with the overall standard of the hotel. Also, a picture of moths/insects by the bed, however well drawn, was a bit disconcerting to wake up to!

-Big rooms with everything you need (I had a mini bar in my room)
-Comfy beds.
-Feels like at home.
-Food is amazing (Michelin style food at a fraction of the price)
-Set in lovely location.
-Food service is nearly instant and on your table within 7-10 minutes of ordering.
Would definitely come here again. 10/10 😊
-Next to a very busy road.
-Creeky floorboards
-Mini bar a little expensive.
4.5
Lovely bright room and large, comfortable bed. Complimentary toiletries, bottled water and delicious home-made shortbread.
Good menu choices for breakfast.
The shower cubical was a bit of a poor design because the screen curved inwards, making it less spacious, and the tray flooded very easily.

Lovely welcome, doggy friendly, great service, fantastic staff, all the team, Barry, Pedro (so funny), James, all the girls, they never stop, run a fantastic place. Great location, lovely gardens, so pretty. Great bed, lovely extra, free beer, prosecco in the room, doggy treats, wonderful products in the bathroom. Lovely yummy shortbread, all the little details, thank you, will be back. Great location for us to break our Cornwall-Yorkshire journey home, great to visit Bath also once more.
Nothing.
2.5
Good breakfast , lovely decor in the bedrooms and bathrooms , great to have some complimentary beer and Prosecco and fresh milk in the fridge , and handmade shortbread. Very friendly staff , very handy location
The light in our stairwell between the bedroom ( we were staying in Pammington) and the bathroom was on a sensor which flooded the bedroom with light every time we turned over in bed during the night which was v disturbing. The toilet made a very loud grinding sound whenever you went near and after flushing and the bathroom drains smelled so bad we had to hold our breath ! we’ve stayed before and had a great room so it might just be bad luck this time.
4.5
Barry and the team were very welcoming, and offered some good local advice . We enjoyed a very nice evening meal and breakfast. Always nice to find somewhere that serves real ale.
For us, Nothing really. It is worth noting though that the building is 300 years old, so ceilings are low(not a problem for us but any one over 6ft would struggle with the shower in our en suite) and floors aren't even.
