Wild Pines is located in the exclusive Bonita Bay Resort. This private end unit features an open concept floor plan with large lanai overlooking a beautiful lake. The master suite has a king size bed, bath, flat screen TV and private entrance to the lanai. The guest bedroom has twin beds (that can be pushed together to make a king) a private bath, TV and pocket doors for sectioning off.The living room has sliding glass doors that open up 12 ft. wide to access the lanai, and provide a view of the palm trees and lake. High speed internet and Wifi available. Completely renovated 2023: Kitchen including new cabinets, granite countertops, appliances, both bathrooms, floors, ceiling fans, and furniture.
Bonita Bay offers more free amenities than any other community in Southwest Florida. Wild Pines has its own pool and clubhouse. The clubhouse has a refrigerator, grill, tables, restrooms and tennis courts. The Bonita Bay Beach Club is a private club for enjoying the sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico. ( Currently Closed for repair April 1, 2024 until 2025) Bonita Bay is providing free shuttle service (Nov.-April). To the public beach or Lovers Key beach. Relax in beach chairs provided by the club (umbrellas for a fee). The clubs facilities include restrooms, showers, shaded picnic pavilions, grills, and a lunch caterer. (Food trucks might be at new location) (Again, normal amenities are closed for repair but shuttle service will continue to Lovers Key Beach or the public beach located next to Docs.)
We have 2 bicycles for touring the gated 2,400 acre (3.75 sq. miles, 9.7 sq km) Bonita Bay Community with 12 miles of award winning bike trails, nature areas and luxury condominiums, villas and multi-million dollar homes. Also, enjoy the use of a fishing pier, walking nature trails, a butterfly garden, picnic area, playgrounds as well as a boardwalk to Estero Bay in Estero Bay Park. In Spring Creek Park enjoy nature trails for hiking and use of free canoes. Riverwalk Park has a 12-station fitness trail, lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball court, bocce ball court, playground, picnic area, cooking grills, storage for canoes and boat launch with boat docks. Bonita Bay Marina has a great place to dine called Backwater Jacks overlooking the boats. Recommend a reservation.
Just a short walk away is upscale shopping, fine dining, a variety of restaurants and nightlife. A short drive away are additional places to shop and eat in Naples, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, and the Florida Everglades to enhance your vacation experience.
The condo is located approximately 20 minutes south of the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) 5 day minimum stay.

This was our second trip to this condo in Bonita Bay. We would not hesitate to visit again.
The condo is lovely, comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed. The view from the screened lanai is beautiful. We also took advantage of the uncrowded pool at the property.
Bonita Bay is a gorgeous gated community with miles of bike/walking paths with lush landscaping. Paradise!

Bonita Bay is a gorgeous community--enjoyed walking along the miles of beautifully landscaped paths when we weren't relaxing by the pool or bird watching on the fantastic lanai overlooking the pond.
We didn't take advantage of the bikes or the beach shuttle this trip--but may on future stays.

The condo in the Bonita bay community was absolutely beautiful. It was pretty, comfortable and well equipped. What a beautiful location!
Our one disappointment was that we booked it with the expectation of enjoying the private beach club which was closed for renovations beginning the day we arrived. The nearby public beaches have very limited parking and not the best restrooms. We did not have the beach experience we were expecting.

This was a pleasant condo property with a lovely screen porch and view. Most basic necessities were available. Check in and entry was easy even in this gated community. Owner is very careful about keeping the condo and furnishings clean while you stay. The beach area is via shuttle and the general area of the beach is still recovering from hurricane damage. The condo area and gated community are lovely. Easy access onto 41 for quick trips to shopping and restaurants.

This condo is newly updated, very attractive, and located in a quiet, lovely development. The lanai is exceptional - spacious, serene and beautiful - and the kitchen is well outfitted. Along with the condo, the owners provide beach towels, coolers, insulated drink cups, nice bikes, and an easy code in/out (so no need for keys). Along with the nearby pool and hot tub, as guests, you also have free access to the development's additional property on Bonita Beach with beach loungers, chairs, umbrellas, restrooms, fresh water, and food trucks. (Or, just walk down the beach to Doc's for drinks and food.) The beach property is accessible via free shuttles that go back and forth every hour; the owner leaves the card for you in the condo. Every restaurant that we wanted to go to was within 10 minutes of the condo, and the owners even left a binder with condo and restaurant information for guests. This was our first visit to Bonita Springs and this property, and we will happily return to both! Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay -- even after Hirricane Ian, Bonita Bay was still beautiful. The condo is very comfoortable and Amy is easy to work with. Had trouble with the initial entry to the Bonita Bay Front Gate not having our info -- but this has happened to us before and Amy was able to clear it up.

We were very happy to have a lovely and peaceful place to stay while in Bonita for the very sad discovery that our moms place wasn't salvageable due to Ian's destruction. It was a busy and emotional week trying to salvage what we could. Amy was a wonderful host and responded to all inquiries very quickly. Their condo is very nice and we'd love to stay there again while actually vacationing.

Perfect Beach Trip
Usually our beach trips are to the FL panhandle area, and a condo or house directly on the beach. This was so much better. Bonita Bay is an upscale, gated community with various sections from private homes to condos. Everything is perfectly-maintained and it was very quiet. (June was their off-season.)
The condo was lovely, but in all honesty we were rarely inside. We spent most of our time at the beach or on the patio (lanai). Both were picturesque. The beach area was just a short drive away, plenty of parking, and a very short walk to our chairs and umbrella each day. And because we rinsed off at the beach and drove back, we didn’t end up bringing sand in the condo. No sweeping!
We found a lovely Italian gourmet market nearby and picked up wraps, salads, pizza, breakfast items, desserts, and coffee there throughout the week. Ate at restaurants a few items. Never cooked a single meal.
The condo had beach towels, ice chests, picnic-type basket. We didn’t have to buy anything except sunscreen,
It was my favorite beach vacation ever, and I highly recommend Bonita Bay.

We had a great stay. It was very relaxing and a very nice unit. We've stayed in Wild Pines several time before and this spot had the best view of the pond and green space from the lanai.

We absolutely loved it!
Wonderful location in beautiful Bonita Bay! The highlight of this vacation rental is surely the spacious screened and furnished balcony, patio, porch, lanai ... whatever you want to call it, with a fantastic lake and wildlife view. Indeed, it is so tranquil, you could easily spend your whole vacation just lounging there. Of course, you shouldn't, as the area has so much more to offer and this rental also provides you access to the private Bonita Bay community with so much nature preserve, it could be its own state park.

Rent this condo - you won’t regret it!
Amy was great to correspond with and has done an excellent job of providing a well-equipped unit! When we booked her condo, we knew that there were amenities outside of the unit but we had no idea that we would be in the midst of a multi-million dollar resort. It has so much to offer and has been excellently maintained. It is tucked away like a hidden gem but very convenient to everything. Amy was very responsive to the questions that we had when we arrived and was always pleasant to deal with. The condo lanai is a very special place….it was sometimes a struggle for us to get up from the comfort of the lanai and be productive because we so enjoyed the serenity of the lake and all of the surrounding nature sounds. The Wild Pines community is also nice because it has its own pool, grills and tennis courts. If you love to sunbathe, you may want to stake your poolside claim early…we were often there between 930 and 10 in the morning and it wasn’t long until we had lots of friends surrounding us. You will not regret your stay there!

The checkout wants you to was all the linens or there will be an extra charge. Which is unusual. I normally just need to strip the linens. How can they be sure they were washed.

Perfect for our family of four
We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Pines. The property was spacious for the four of us and the large screened porch was a great place for morning coffee and evening wine. Bonita Bay is gorgeous. We visited the private beach and the pool. There is plenty to do nearby as well. We shopped in Coconut Point (5 mins away) and dined at the nearby restaurants. We’d happily come back for another stay.

My kids and I loved staying at this property on Bonita Bay premises . The area feels safe and is very clean and beautiful , with lush green surroundings to bike through (2 bikes included with rental , which is such a nice addition to the rental ) Bonita Bay has several parks and a marina. We had our own private beach access with chairs and umbrellas -great to have as a visitor and not having have to buy an umbrella .
There are many great places to eat that are very close to the apartment . Grocery store is just across the street .
The kitchen is fully equipped as well .

Would Definitely Stay Again!
What a beautiful condo in such a perfect location. There were a few hiccups upon arrival - main TV didn’t work and the lights in the master bathroom didn’t work. I managed to fix the lights and Amy was more than accommodating in fixing the TV issue and I couldn’t have been more grateful. The pots and pans were greasy and dirty when we got them out to use - but that’s of no fault of Amy’s. We would have washed them before use anyway. We had such a wonderful time in this condo and would definitely stay again. Thank you again Amy and John for sharing your home with us!

Great location, lovely lanai
Once we became acclimated to the area, we realized how the location was perfect for us. Unit is close to main gate, with easy access to groceries, retail and restaurants. Private beach was wonderful with chairs and umbrellas ready for us. Ft Myers and Naples are an easy drive. The lanai was wonderful for morning coffee. The owners have the condo well stocked, and we loved having a washer and dryer. Furniture could use some updating, but it’s functional. We highly recommend staying here!

The place is very cute and clean and in a good location. We had a few hiccups getting the correct parking permit from the front office m, but Amy was very responsive and contacted the office right away to get the issue corrected. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s allabout the view and location
The condo was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could possible need. The lanai view is so relaxing you will live out there watching the birds and turtles around the lake. The private beach is beautiful and comes with chairs and umbrellas. All kinds of restaurants within a mile or two. We would come back again if we weren’t moving to FL.
