The service was good and very happy with room.
Internet was intermittent but were made aware of that given the rural location.

Nice location with good outdoor areas although parts of the garden appeared a little neglected. Room was comfortable with a good bed, shower and TV.
The room and food at the restaurant were expensive - it did not have a boutique feel and the food was pretty standard pub fare. The pub is dog friendly and you expect to pay an additional charge. Here it is £20 for a dog package (bed, bowl, couple of treats and a tennis ball). Problem is we were charged £20 each night when we received nothing additional on nights 2 & 3 and no additional cleaning was done to justify the cost.

Lovely location and our room was everything we wanted
The full English breakfast was too much to eat but that was about all !

The staff were exceptional - friendly and helpful. Made our stay a very pleasant experience. The building has nooks and crannies for you to have a quiet drink. The views over the mill pond were relaxing and the grounds, with their art installations, a delightful place to spend and early morning.
Nothing!

The breakfast was excellent and the dinner the first evening was good though not exceptional.
A Concierge service, particularly when lugging slightly heavy luggage with elderly guests!

Lovely big room overlooking the river and very nice bathroom with an excellent shower. Beautiful big grounds with river, lots of different gardens to explore, and many seating areas to sit and eat/drink both inside and outside. Interesting building with lots of nooks and crannies. It was delightful to watch the birds on the feeder from our balcony. Breakfast very good, with continental buffet and cooked breakfast menu. Enjoyed a cream tea and delicious cocktails (Highly recommend the Berry Bramble!). Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff.
The table and chairs on our room's balcony were a bit dirty, so would be good to check/clean those more often. Tables weren't cleared quickly after guests leave. Just minor details - overall excellent.

Stayed in the King Suite - The Miller's Room which included bedroom, through double doors to an amazing ensuite with a superb free standing contemporary design oval bath for me to luxuriate in and a walk-in shower which was perfect for my husband, plus double basins!!! there was also a dressing area/ walk through to our own private sitting room/ diner with mini fridge. Breakfast was delicious as was our evening meal and the jugs of home made lemonade with lots of ice to refresh us in the heatwave between cocktails all al-fresco at the riverside location with secret gardens to explore with surprising sculptures at every turn.
Wished we'd stayed for longer!

Wow, we loved our room it was lovely, the bonus for us was a private, enclosed patio courtyard. Just perfect when you travel with a dog. The whole property was so clean and comfortable and in a beautiful setting. I also have to say, the waiting staff were very polite and friendly. Highly recommend.
The mattress was a tad to firm for my liking, but a mattress topper would soon fix that.

Lovely location, great room and got a good night's sleep. The outside space with the mill stream was nice - even some nice little gardens to walk around. Good food, well run.

Great location on the river , gardens were lovely ,well kept and very clean . A great looking pub with rooms.
Staff were superb and breakfast was great. Evening meal menu quite varied and well presented.
Our room was a little tired in its furnishings and decor . Needs to be brought up to date.

The location was just beautiful and great to walk the dog in the amazing grounds. Very dog friendly, great being able to have breakfast with the dog present. The room was amazing, and best of all, the lovely staff, especially Carina who made us so welcome.
Maybe , a little more choice on the evening menu. Such as rice based dishes.

Our room was lovely. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked to order. Staff happy and friendly
Evening meal was quite expensive and not a huge amount of choice. Very dog friendly and we don't have a dog so not used to them being around at dinner and breakfast although they were mostly well behaved.

The hotel is set in beautiful countryside with a stream and small lake outside. The hotel itself is decorated beautifully with a lovely restaurant/bar which is very welcoming with open fires. Very friendly staff, lovely choice of food and drinks. Spacious bedroom with lovely views, very warm and cosy. Very spaciois car park too. I can not recommend this hotel enough.
Nothing! It was all lovely.
