De locatie is heel goed. Je verblijft op loopafstand van het centrum van Nicosia. Het is een eenvoudig appartement, niet luxe maar redelijk tot goed gefaciliteerd en schoon sanitair. Gratis parkeren kun je naast het appartement op openbaar terrein. De host was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is prima

De oven en wasmachine hebben we niet gebruikt. Die waren niet zo schoon.

Συμπαθητικό

Καλά συντηρημένο ισόγειο διαμέρισμα στην παλιά πόλη της Λευκωσίας . Σχετικά καλές υποδομές με τα βασικά χρειώδη. , ο δρόμος είναι ήσυχος αν και μερικές φορές ενοχλούν τα αυτοκίνητα. Στην περιοχή μένουν πολλοί μετανάστες αλλά δεν υπάρχει λόγος ανησυχίας γιατί η παραβατικότητα μεταξύ τους είναι πολύ περιορισμένη λόγω του φόβου της απέλασης

Δεν σημείωσα κάτι ιδιαίτερα ενοχλητικό πλην μιας συγκέντρωσης λίγων υδάτων στο πάτωμα του υπνοδωματίου την αιτία της οποίας δεν μπόρεσα να εντοπίσω, αλλά πιθανόν οφειλόταν στην νεροποντή των ημερών .

Wonderful, full of Cypriot charm !! Lovely house.

I promised i would return , everything was as good as the first time I stayed. Excellent place to stay in Nicosia. Excellent, reliable and wonderful hosts. Located within the old walled city, authentic styled home, very cosy, very cool and comfortable, very clean with all the amenities you have for a holiday home. The plus is the outside private varanda area where you can chill any time of the day. I must admit this is a wonderful place to stay, strongly recommend other travellers who are looking for a similar style place. For me it is a 7/7 star accommodation.

Everything was tops , no issues at all. Any negative points outweigh immensely the positives. I strongly recommend Chris House.

A very good value-for-money home in Nicosia

The property was well-equipped and clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The location was quite central, in an interesting, inner-city area of town. The landlord was very flexible and quick to reply to messages.

Some people might be uneasy about the area, but it seemed authentic, friendly and calm to me.

Very clean and quiet, great location - the old town is wonderful

Great location, neighbourhood full of character, spacious, quiet, very clean, old house with a very high ceiling (more then 4 m high!) - so it was cool inside even when there was 30 degrees outside (W/O air-condition!), many shops around.

Shower - complicated to understand, low water pressure

Interesting days in Nicosia in a nice accommodation

- Nice and helpful hostess - Good location in the old town (Walking distance to many sights as well as to the Central Bus Station) - Very clean and spacious old house with a small terrace

Very good

A pleasant apartment in a quiet area of the old town. I was there in winter so appreciated that it was warm and dry. The bathroom was particularly well equipped, including plenty of toilet paper, shower gel, hair dryer, etc. There is also a washing machine and an ironing board

The hot water is erratic at best, running hot for a minute, then cold for five, so showers are an experience. I never managed to get hot water in the kitchen. The kitchen is minimally equipped (one huge soup pan and two frying pans, one tiny serrated knife and a bent chopping board is all there is) and no microwave so cooking or heating anything up for one is difficult. Also no coffee-making equipment.

Superb

Nice small house situated in the city center. Near to Ledras street and bus hub at Dionysios Solomos Square (both 10 min. by walk). Host was very helpfull, gave me recommendation on good restaurant and grocery store.

Quiet and comfortable in the old town, walking distance to everything.

This as a roomy and comfortable small house within the walls of the old town. It is just a few minutes walk from the main shopping strip and Brew Bar for the best coffee ever! There is plenty of seating and it is quiet and cool with an outside courtyard. Cooking facilities are good. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The area around the house looked a bit daunting at first but we had no problems at all in a five day stay. The hot water takes a bit of getting used to, like most places in Cyprus.

We like the facilities and house area. Location was perfect. The host was very friendly and always happy to help.

The shower need to be fix and the bed is too small for couple Mattresses and pillows are not comfortable There are a few insects

Nice spot to stay in Nicosia

Located in city centre, spacious and well-equiped apartment. AC worked fine, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was prepared for cooking. A modest but nice patio where you can have breakfast. The owners were helpful and open to give tips.

The bed frame was a bit movable, should be more firm.

Great little house, great location and great host.

Loved the place ! Located in a quiet street in the old town. Clean, comfortable, spacious and a cool retreat from the heat, with a cute back garden. Great host, met me very late at the property to let me in and orientate me to the little house and the area, always on hand, and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved staying here and an absolute gem of a place to stay, so pleased i stayed at Chris House as a base and conveniently located in the old town of Nicosia, easily walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars, tourist attractions and tavernas, as well as for business amenities. If you like old authentic homes and buildings converted as a home , yet still retaining their authentic architecture, then please stay here, it really makes a huge difference when you stay in a local Cypriot house. You will not regret it, on the contrary , holiday or for business I was highly impressed by the place and its charm, both location and its size. I will certainly come back and will book very soon. I give it 10/10 for the stay, and Lefteris is a superb host, very kind, considerate , welcoming, and always there if you need support, guidance, advice and help. I highly recommend for visitors to stay here. Just one tip, look after it while your staying here , just as you would look after your own home. It is a very clean house and has all the amenities and facilities for use. The internet was superb, it has air-conditioning , fan , tv and I was able to work effectively and the cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Thank you very much, was a wonderful stay. I loved sitting in the back patio at night drinking a glass of wine and in the early morning having my coffee. Excellent place and excellent stay.

There is nothing to dislike. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I am hoping to return soon. Thank you Lefteris.

Exceptional

A very welcoming host who was ready to help out with anything. The property was large and clean with all the necessary facilities. The location was good as well, about 10min on foot to the main street. We were able to park right outside of the house for free, but if that's taken there is a 2eur/day parking nearby.

Only 1 bathroom, so might be an issue for large groups.

A very good place to stay!

Clean, comfortable, everything worked as it should, and a great location. Ideally placed to wander on foot the old part of the city and its various sites of interest, with restaurants and cafes all within easy reach. It is also straightforward to wander into the northern part of the city, passport in hand, for further interest. The old part of the city (within the Venetian Walls) has quite a number old unoccupied buildings however, the place is safe to wander and unlike some places I’ve been to at no time was I bothered by anyone. The owner met me at the location and was very helpful, informative and approachable. If I return to Nicosia I would definitely stay here again!

Good

Loved the fact it was a traditional style house but with modern day facilities and the the house was very clean and well equipped kitchen - including a washing machine. Host was great and easily contactable. We loved the fact it was close to Ledra Street and accessible on foot - took less than 10 minutes utes to get to the border/Green Line.

Not related to the house at all but the surrounding area didn't feel very safe at night, however, we didn't come across any problems and followed the hosts recommendation of sticking to the main, well lit streets on the way home. Did make us feel uncomfortable as numerous all male groups, especially at night.
