Brilliant would highly recommend.

Great beach house, right on the sea front. Lovely food.

Nothing. Would recommend room 9. It’s in the attic so you’re not as close to the sea as the rooms on the lower floors but the bed was really comfy and you are away from the banging doors that are in the corridor on the 1st floor.

Super tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Wunderschöne Aussicht vom Zimmer und im Restaurant fein gegessen.

Bedroom cramped and in need of renovation. Not enough room for two people. Communal areas needed recarpeting and had a stale smell

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss und top Lage direkt am Strand.

Lage, Lage, Lage - das Haus liegt direkt an der Bucht, am Sandstrand und aus den Fenstern schaut man aufs Meer und hört es auch. Abendessen ist sehr gut, Tisch sollte man vorab reservieren. Unser 4er Zimmer im DG hatte einen tollen Blick und hatte für wenige Nächte ausreichend Platz.

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, bräuchte eine grundsätzliche Renovierung, aber dafür hat es aktuell einen günstigen Preis.

Great location, lovely food and downstairs area, but bedrooms need updating

Amazing location and good breakfast. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and very helpful.

The bed in room 8 was very uncomfortable and I think needs a new mattress. The window was stuck shut, but it was mended within an hour of speaking to reception. (When I first informed reception, I was told they were aware and that was why a fan was in the room). The shower had no power so we had to shower in our teenagers room opposite. They were in room 6, which was very noisy from the fans on the flat roof outside the window so could not sleep with the window open, even though it was very hot. The windows were very dirty. Room 8 had a balcony but just a small seat and small table. It would be nice to have two bigger seats so we could both sit outside. I did ask for a clothes dryer for our wetsuits as the hotel is on the beach, but the lady I asked looked at me like I was mad for asking!

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not everything available on the menu and portion sizes were small

The bed was very noisy. Every time you turned over it creaked. No chance of any romance. 🤣 Comfy mattress but bed frame needs attention Room 9

Beach house, right on the beach

Location : right on the beach. Still very quiet despite being along the road Terrasse overlooking the beach Breakfast was good despite a feeling of disorganisation

Staff were friendly but rather disorganised ... on arrival, after some hezitating time, they found out that they had given our room to other guests ... they had to ask them to move so we could have our room Bed was strange and not very comfortable

Entspanntes B&B für Hundeliebhaber in toller Strandlage

Tolle Lage, entspanntes Ambiente im Hostel-look wie vor 20 Jahren. Freundliches Personal, gutes Abendessen.

Der Shabby-look wirkt an vielen Stellen unaufgerãumt u schmuddelig. Zimmer war ok, aber sehr hellhörig, so dass empfindliche Schläfer sich mit Ohropax ausstatten sollten. Im Gegesatz zu den vielen anderen Bewertungen hatten wir ein enttãuschendes Frühstück. Wir mussten fast eine Stunde darauf warten u bekamen dann nahezu kalten Toast, wiederaufgewärmte pancakes u.ä. vorgesetzt. Auch am Vorabend schien das Personal etwas überfordert, anscheinend war kein Tisch für Übernachtungsgäste vorgesehen, ich musste mein Getränk bei drei verschiedenen Personen bestellen, bis es endlich kam.

Fantastic sea views

The location was great. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The room was small and quite basic although the small patio with views of the beach and sea helped. Had the weather been warmer I'm sure we'd have used the patio more. Breakfast was included and the lady taking the orders was nice and friendly.

The room for the 2 nights we stayed was fine, but it lacked the room for storage for a longer stay. The included breakfast took ages to arrive after ordering, one guest ordered toast and even this took 20+ minutes. The cooked breakfast was OK, but nothing special the bacon was dry and overcooked..

Cooked Breakfast or other choices available x sausages could do with done with a little more browning x but all in all a good brekkie

When I booked I hadnt realised it was dog friendly, and to be fair I wouldnt have booked it if I had known, but for all those who are dog lovers this is the place to be xxxx

Relaxed comfortable place to stay in a good location with excellent staff.

Lovely location next to the beach. Great room with comfortable beds and balcony was lovely. Decorations throughout were good. Staff were lovely.

Widemouth bay is a lovely beach and the beach house B and B is the perfect location. Staff were friendly and helpful The place had a Chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

An excellent place to stay and if we travel this way again I'd be sure to go back.

Breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very accessible location to Bude with a direct path down to the beach. The onsite bar was open late and drinks were great.

The shower took a while to heat up though that can be expected in a building with lots of rooms!

Amazing location and staff was amazing, I will definitely be happy to return.

The full English was amazing and perfectly cooked.

When arriving you are given a form for extra toilet rolls and coffee, tea ,milk, water and sugar however no pen is supplied within the room to fill it out.

the family room in the attic was gloomy and shabby compared to others with balkony and beautiful furniture that looked spotless and comfy - so wouldn‘t recommend that one. but the rest looks beautiful and well kept and we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful. Don’t judge this book by it’s cover.

The location was perfection! We had dinner there the first night, and it was great! Great value. Great taste! Great view and great drinks. Having the bar downstairs was brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were everything you would expect from a family run business on the beach: friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, happy and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, location and food.

I hate shower curtains hahaha. But that is my only complaint.
