Great hotel/bar, lots of locals stop by which makes it a great spot to hang out and find out more about the town. The staff are super helpful and wonderful. Your room itself is small but it gets you a good night of sleep.
There's renovations going on which made the room smell like paint.

Family run, premises with a lovely attentive, professional friendly staff - excellent rooms and high standard of service !

Friendly helpful staff, breakfast was great, comfortable bar to relax and have a pint and chat, good facilities Wi-Fi, tv, compact but clean and tidy bathroom. Handy parking.
Hard to pick faults really, I have been there a couple of times now on trips over there and always been satisfied.

Room was nice and clean
Breakfast was a little upside down
They were using Aldi/Lidl products could of decanted into cereral boxes instead of leaving in orginal packing.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was lovely, large & nicely presented with en-suite facilities. The room was pristine. The breakfast was beautiful, fresh fruit salad, cereal, pastries, fruit juice & freshly cooked full Irish breakfast. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as the chef was sick & there was no evening service. The bar is on the Main Street in Dungloe with parking on the street outside, a stones throw from the shops, bars & restaurants.
I would recommend the Midway & I would definitely stay here again.
The only down side is the rooms are on the first floor accessed by a stair case leading up to them. It may be difficult to access for people with mobility problems.

Great communication throughout with Paula. Lovely, modern, clean rooms, great breakfast! All staff very friendly and helpful. Great location with nice views.
Nothing really. A shelf in the bathroom would have been useful.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful
Breakfast was really good
Toilet did not flush well and took a long time to refill. Noise from other rooms was heard through the walls. Room and linen was not very clean.

Great breakfasts
Carpet in room was badly frayed in multiple areas (Room 8), toilet not flushing fully and water in pan always brown. No plug for sink. Bed not made each day.

The bar staff were friendly and the location is good however this is the only positives I can say about this place.
Ignored on booking.com chat with the hotel when I had a very important query was very disappointed by this
Room was terrible , squeaky bed, leaking sink, bed light hanging off the wall, and toilet that only flushed once every 20 mins ,constant water sound coming from cistern and a very dated shower which dribbled out water

Excellent staff and good location.
Music in bar on Saturday night was a bit noisy.

The window in our room didn't open and you could hear everything the other guesta did. If they arrived late, you heard it, if they talked louder, you heard it and if they went to the toilet, you had to hear that, too.
