Very clean room, with all the necessities provided.
The room was located at the back with the window to the pub terrace. So be mindfull of the noise if you are a light sleeper. The terrace closes at midnight tho, so personally I didn’t mind the noise too much.
The stairway hall had an unpleasant smell.

Location
Bunk beds not stated , simply said twin room. If I wanted bunk beds I would have stayed at a hostel for 1/4 of the price
2.5 / 5.0
Location was spot on. Room was small but clean and I only used it to sleep in. Spent more time outside so it was really used for storing my stuff and sleeping in. The shower was good but with the room being small the shower was small.
For the room I stayed in for £79 per night (Number 2) I would have only valued it at about £40 or £50 for the size and the fact that the window looked out on to a brick wall two foot away with no view. There was no TV either. It was a bedsit and a tiny one at that. However, it did the job of storing my stuff but the price, with no breakfast, was a bit disappointing. If I had come up the River Ness on a dingy and claimed asylum I would have got a better hotel room for free.

Location. Room was clean.
Fire alarm for kitchen went off at 4am. It was a false alarm but we all had to leave our rooms and stand outside in the cold.

Good location and the bar below is very popular.
The staff are lovely.. I admire the commitment to the environment.
The room was small with bunk beds.which was a little surprising.A bit sparse and no shampoo.

Location was great, less than 10 minutes walk to train station which was why we chose it. Room was very quiet and peaceful, no noise at all from bar downstairs or street noise which we had concerns about. Room was OK and bed comfortable however the double bed was pushed into a corner so one person had difficulty getting in and out. There were at least 2 other ways the room could have been arranged. Bar did evening food but we arrived quite late so didn't try this. No facility for breakfast at all which was not good considering the price paid.
As above but also there is no lift and we have mobility issues so not ideal lugging suitcase up to second floor. Only found out about this after booking.

Good location. Very close to train station and centre of town and river.
The room minute. Only one pillow. Bed was not very comfortable.

Great location, friendly staff... but... read below...
The compressor outside my window (2m away) that ran non-stop from morning until the beer-garden closed appro. 11pm (23:00). The noise level was extraordinarily lound and sleep almost impossible. Room 2 (two) should have a real discount because of this deafeningly loud low frequency noise!

location was great and food and staff were friendly
room 3 and room 2 on my previous stay is right next to the generator and seperate compressor it was quite unbearable and you could not sleep . warning about noise but advised at bar cuts off at 11pm but it didn’t . they could provide ear plugs and soap . who doesn’t offer soap and the one thin pillow was awful . cheap is great but the noice and pillow made both times a unpleasant visit

Location was central, within walking distance to the train station, shops, restaurant and attractions. Easy check in at the pub downstairs. Friendly staff. Room was clean, small but cosy. Kettle and supplies of coffee and tea provided. Comfy bunk beds. Well equipped bathroom. Loved the pizza and ale served at the bar.
Wish we could have a small table and chair in the room so we can use it to work instead of only a low side table and a stool. We wanted to work at the pub downstairs but it was almost always full. This could be a problem for longer staying guests.

nothing really
pub was always crowded and noisy. Rooms were right above the pub and street so all the noise kept us away throughout the night. we heard shouting, singing, arguing all night. it was miserable and too expensive. Room was very small as was the shower.

location! food was close and easy after a long day of travel, staff was so friendly and nice. 10/10.
wish there was a lift, just because after a long day of hiking the stairs were rough 😂 but that says more about me than it does the facility.

Pretty basic - it's effectively a hostel set up, with some private rooms. Clean and spacious though.
It was pretty chilly, and there was a lot of noise from the street
