Perfect overnight stay in Kimberley and oasis in the heat.

Beautiful old house with wooden floors and spacious rooms. Nice pool to cool down in and lovely barbecue facilities. The breakfast was included in our boarding rate and was exceptional value for money.

Very Pleasant Stay

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly, so next time my furbaby will join me on my trip. Comfortable bed and room was very nice, nice big bathroom.

Perfect place to stay over on the long road

This place is a ideal if you are looking for a place to stay over on the long road between Johannesburg and Cape Town. The room was ideal for our family of five (for one night!) - it was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was aircon. The pool was great and improved the mood of the children greatly. Excellent breakfast, and they opened up the kitchen at 6am (rather than 7) to accommodate us. We had stayed over here before, and we will again.

Receiptionest was very well mannered and helpful. We went for a family members funeral and it felt as if they new we were moaning.She already had the Aircon on to warm up the room, as it was a very cold weekend.Thank you for the cleanliness of the room and the exceptional nice breakfast.

Excellent

The cottage was neat and clean and tastefully decorated. Save parking inside the premises for both my car and trailer was a bonus. We felt save in Jungnickel as it had good security. Jungnickel is in a quiet residential suburb close to all tourist attractions and the town. Breakfast was 5-star. We can highly recommend Jungnickel for an overnight stay or longer.

The floor carpet in ours was very dirty and had a very bad smell. Since it was winter n cold, we cudnt open the windows. That floor carpet needs to go!

Every morning something new is added to the breakfast buffet . They fry your eggs while you see at the table, thus it does not become rubberized.The place feels like home & we as a family feel comfortable & safe there. Duvets are snuggly & warm.

This was an unexpected jewel in Kimberley. Such friendly staff, well-kept clean rooms in a historic house. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip that included various establishments. Great value for money. I can truly recommend Jungnickel.

Perfect location for access from either Cape Town or Jhb via the N12. Also 7 mins from the Big Hole for a quick visit on the way out.
