Large apartment for a very good price. Well equipped. Late check-in and early check-out without issues. Very good place to visit the National Park without staying inside.
Nothing.

Gate close at our arrival until i had to spend lot of intaernational call money to let me in. Simply put a bell at the gate.
No food at all. even breakfast.

A lovely Oasis at which to enjoy the falls.
A Yoco card machine to receive final payment up front.

The location was good, it was so tranquil and close to facilities.
Just needed a hairdryer and braai tongs.

Amazing place - right near the falls, comfy beds, inside braai room.
Hot water ran out after 2 showers and there were 4 of us.

A lovely place to stay, comfy and well equipped even for load shedding. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location close to the falls.

The facilities met all our needs. It was very spacious for 6 people, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable, I slept so well. It was a particularly cold and wet week and the heating aircons were a life saver. It was a great location to be based for easy access to what the area has to offer, close to the Augrabies national park, the main town in Kakamas, the orange river and the Riemvasmaak hot Springs. We also enjoyed visiting and feeding the horses, chickens and goats.
Two of the aircons didn't seem to heat. The kitchen could be a little better equipped, for example a braai fork, a baking sheet (that can go in the oven), a non-stick frying pan. An extra towel per person would also be nice. The WiFi download speed was disappointing-fine for sending WhatsApp but not good for even scrolling on social media platforms.

Rene (Manager) was very accommodating and helpful. Liesl was a star. Literally 10 mins away from Augrabies Falls and 25 mins away from Kakamas. Accommodation was clean, quiet and serene. Create escape and connect with nature.

Great location. We really loved the character of the guesthouse on a working farm. There was a inside barbecue. Restaurants nearby and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Everything was really great, nothing not to like.

Location was perfect for our purposes and trip.
The cleanliness of the rooms and everything in the housing was outstanding.
The aircons was the best bonus.
A pool on the property would have been the ultimate luxury.

De Oude Stoor is very well located close to the Augrabies National Park. Rene, the manager, was very welcoming and friendly. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed for a self catering one night stop over.

it’s situated on a working farm. We had access to the whole farm incl. the horses which my daughter loved to pet and feed some carrots. I even went for a 5km run on the farm😄😎 + nice leisurely afternoon walks. The farm also have their own “moon rock” from where we watched the sun rise. Indoor braai was perfect and the kids loved the wifi.
Absolutely NOTHING!!!

They provided wingerd stompies for the fire.

The farm-like feel is awesome. The house was comfortable and big enough for us 6 people. There was a nice size fridge too! Rene was very friendly and helped us alot.
There is not a lot of options for food. There is a small shop nearby that only stock the necessities, and a lodge where you can buy from the restaurant, but they are on the more expensive side, so do remember your food!

The stone "koppie" next to our unit was a bonus and the view from up there was eceptional. The unit is spacious and clean and well fit out with everything you could need.
Although load shedding is not their problem, they do have an emergency light and candles available. Unfortunately the light did not work and the candles were not quite enough for the second night. The generator is very close to the unit, but does not cater for the unit as such. So you have the noise, but not the light :) .
