This home is just steps from the beach and was the perfect location for a family getaway with the kids, they had an amazing time at the beach and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and enough bathrooms for everyone too. The kitchen is a bit bare bones and the place place itself isn't that beautiful, but the location makes it totally worth it since you just want to be out enjoying the beach anyway. I would definitely stay here again, amazing sunset from the balcony!

Generally good for 5 people. Clean and well lit (loved the labels for all the lights). Great beach access and view. Very roomy. Downsides, only one shower in house that sleeps 8; kitchen not as well supplied as some rentals I.e. no coffee filters (I left you a package). Shower situation is major problem that would be relatively easy to correct.

Needs a thorough cleaning, especially the windows. Was not notified prior to my arrival that the washer was broken. That was resolved the next day. Heavy construction on beach building a large retaining well, but my family didnt mind, it was rather entertaining. I would suggest to management to hire a different cleaning crew. If the windows were cleaned professionally I would stay again.

Close to the beach but next to a active construction site
Unfortunately my stay wasn't what I anticipated when I arrived a little after 4pm I noticed that the cleaning lady was still inside the house. I called the customer service line to speak to someone that promised me a partial refund for the inconvenience but I never got one. The cleaning lady didn't finish cleaning the house until a few minutes close to 6pm the house was still a bit dirty, the dishwasher was broken or at least the door was, the next day I was waken by a loud noise I didn't realize the house was right next to a construction site, I had the windows open to get some fresh air but got a bunch of diesel exhaust in the house and took hours too clear up. Other that that the stay was good

The property was great. Views were amazing. The house had everything we expected and more.
There was comfortable living upstairs and down. Seating for all of us. Ice maker in the freezer and plenty of dishes and silverware for all of us. Coffee maker and electric kettle for the tea drinkers. Beds were comfortable but the sheets were thin.

Great location
This house could be perfect with a little TLC. It’s located right across the street from the beach, which made it great for or family to be able to come and go on our own schedule. That being said, it lacked the finishing touches and sense of being well cared for.
The view and the layout were great. For the location it’s a bargain, but I can see why. The kitchen is small and the dishwasher is a hazard. The door flops open and when you pull out the racks they nearly fall out. It does wash the dishes but it’s not easy to use. The house needs a deep cleaning. There was standing water under the sink, m&m’s under the bed, a musky smell in the bathroom and garbage in the bushes in the backyard. It feels like a rental that the owners never use. The garbage can was full when we arrived but a call to the property manager had that taken care of. I can see how it would have been easy to miss the garbage collection. The instructions said garbage day is Friday, but they pick it up early in the morning, so it really should be put out Thursday night. I shot out of bed Friday morning when I heard the truck and managed to get it out in time.
All in all, we had a great stay and would consider renting it again, just based on the convenience of. Ring so close to the beach.

The house is in a great location just across the street from beach access. The house is a bit outdated and could definitely be kept up better. Overall not cleaned very good. Beds too firm to be comfortable. Fireplace does not work, a working fireplace would be a big plus.

The kitchen is large and well equipped and the house is clean and comfortable. The tv, which can often be a challenge to work in a rental house, needed a new battery which was a bit frustrating and the blinds upstairs could use replacing, but overall a really nice vacation house.

We inaccurately estimated our travel time and would arrive earlier than check-in. Upon contact with management, Linda checked and found we could check-in early. Access to parking was perfect for us and our son and his family. The inside of the residence was clean (with the only exception of a couple of spots along baseboard in the kitchen) and inviting. The pictures of the backyard and frontyard we saw online must have been quite old as it appeared neither had been maintained in a long time. The only other negative was that the outside trash container was over-full when we arrived, suggesting to us that previous renters did not put out to the street for pick-up and maintenance failed to notice. Management did respond to our call, however. Location to beach access is PERFECT. Our family enjoyed much beach-combing and kite-flying (kites available on site). We always try to put more focus on family being able to be together. It certainly makes that easier when the rental seeks to make our stay hassle-free, as was the case here.

great view house needs work
The house has stains on the carpet upstairs, the vinyl on the chairs is pealing off in chunks, and the upstairs smelled like pet urine when we arrived. After we opened a couple windows the smell was gone. The location is amazing right across the street from beach access, super easy walk. Over all our trip was good but the house needs some maintenance

The house was nice, good location and our family enjoyed the stay. We agreed with others that the shrubs should be trimmed as they really do block the ocean view on the first floor. We hung out mainly on the 2nd floor for this reason.

Beautiful home but pet urine all over carpet and rugs upstairs and down
The home was beautiful! The views from the upstairs deck were gorgeous! Super easy and SHORT walk to beach. The living room Downstairs was lacking. There’s no where to lounge around as a family unless you want to sit on the hard Dining chairs. Only 3 cushioned chairs for sitting in to relax. There were TONS of fresh pet urine puddles that were dry ALL OVER the upstairs carpet and downstairs rugs. Whoever let their dogs pee all over didn’t even try to soak it up. Let alone clean it. The Beds were really comfortable. Fridge took a long time to get cold. But it was a beautiful house for sure.

Overall, it was a great stay. We have been staying at this house for years and this is the first time we stated through a beach rental company. Surprisingly, we paid a lot more and got less for it. The lawn was really unkept when we arrived (lots of weeds and tall grass) and there was a very limited supply of toilet paper and paper towels (we had to run the the store after two days to restock the house). Additionally, the house wasn't cleaned that well before we arrived. There was lots of sand all over the floor and the upstairs front bedroom had pet hair all over the carpet... The house itself is great, it accommodated our group with multiple adults and children comfortably. Its great how close it is to the beach... it would be great if it had a bbq but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Location
This house is set in an amazing location and could easily be elevated to FANTASTIC.
FABULOUS would be the worst word I could think of it weren’t for the nasty BALLs of dog hair literally floating across the really nice, easy to maintain hardwood type floors (which would have been so easy to deal with prior to our arrival) - not to mention the clumps of dog hair clinging to each dining table and chair legs — But, pets ARE welcome! The sand between the sheets on the two twin beds proved that changing the linens isn’t actually a TOP priority — but, this little beauty IS sitting at directly at the entrance to the worlds largest sand box AND one of the best views on the planet. AND....who’s sleeping in the twin beds, any way???
I actually considered taking 2 hours and renting a lawn mower. The 20 minutes to knock down a few weeds could make the curb appeal worth a million bucks and the area in the back much more enjoyable. If the hedge, for example, in front was “trimmed” — the view from the “Ocean Front Property” could actually include THE OCEAN from the living room and dining area!!! WHAT???? This would take about 30 minutes of landscaping, though.
We think having a barbecue handy might also be a nice addition and help overshadow the fact that there is only 1 shower on property for ALL GUESTS to use after returning from sandy beach DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET!!! (Did I mention the great location of this house!??!) HOWEVER, these things would only enhance the visitors stay. Our time spent here was amazing. Not to mention that The Red Roof (just around the block) served great coffee and the Adventure Cookies were TO DIE FOR!!!

Great place!, although it had a few hiccups I’ll call them; no garbage was removed for the two weeks we rented, so we had to deal with the smell for a few days before we checked out (you don’t want to leave the bags outside because of the deer and other critters, the refrigerator made loud noises and had to adjust the dial daily to prevent the noise, no couch in lower living room to just kick back on, and lastly, as much as I’m a dedicated beach comber, and love the coast!, but all the snails that pop up in that backyard can be a bit overwhelming! Be careful before you step on one of those innocent critters. With that in mind, the vacation was awesome, beautiful and fulfilling! The house is updated throughout, I did have to do some cleaning, but I think that’s because the house sat empty during quarantine. Large house, sits on the corner, quiet for the most part, the view is stunning though! On the balcony you can see the entire coast 3/4 is pure beach view! The sunsets are amazing from the balcony!. We got to see the sea animals (seals) come to shore and walk, we seen whales surging in and out of the ocean! It was an overall spectacular time, that made my daughter and I forget about the minor hiccups and fall in love with our Gleneden beach vacation. The price was definitely a plus that out trumpeted the small hiccups!

Things I would change
No communication about how to enter premises so we had to call when we arrived about 2:30 PM. Very clean except for some reason the downstairs large living room windows were too messed up to see through. Only one key was provided so we had to leave it in the lockbox if we were both gone returning at different times. No wifi for the majority of the time we were there.

Great location nice house. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We were disappointed that the yard was only partially fenced so the dog needed to be supervised and the shrubs in the front of the house were overgrown and blocking the ocean view. Most frustrating though, was we were unable to use the upstairs tv to watch movies because the remote was missing. Another problem upstairs was a light that could not be turned off and so we needed to remove the shade and bulb to turn it off.

All that we expected plus. Recommendation is to have a notebook with information on WiFi password and directions on remotes and logging into cable. Also directions on departing..blinds closed; beds stripped etc. My password for key entry was different from other guests. Theirs worked ; mine did not. Other than these recommendations; perfect. Property was in a great location with easy beach access and great view from balcony. However, upon arriving after dark the front and rear house lights were not working. Cleanliness of one bathroom seems to have been overlooked as there were feces in the toilet and clearly on the wall.
