Clean, AC, very nice people, breakfast included.
Very convenient to Rio Pacuare and Exploradores center for river rafting.
Temporary issue but because of highway construction there is no sign. Trust your phone map and turn onto the dirt road just after the Rio Pacuare bridge when driving from Siquirres (just before the bridge when driving from Limon).
Big truck traffic noise from the highway (including occasional air brakes).
Also roosters on the property so you won’t sleep in.

Staff was AMAZING! she was extremely helpful and friendly. We were giving a tour of the property and even went further to explore animals and names of tropical plants. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. she always kept in touch with us to see what timing worked best for breakfast. Sooooo RECOMMEND this Costa Rican Experience. Please visit Anita

We stayed one night in Anita's Cabina on our way to the Caribbean coast.
She is very friendly, served us a very good typical breakfast and gave us good information about what to do in Cahuita Park and Puerto Viejo beaches.

Not the Ritz but nice enough and Anita was awesome and the breakfast was wonderful
Tiny, loud next to busy highway, no hot water

Great breakfast, nice people.
Bed was not really good. Bathroom could be cleaner and repaired a little.

We had a great time with Anita who made everything she could possible, including god wine and fun rafting, but especially seeing the Costa Rican wildlifeat her place. She is an amazing host! The cabins are simple but have everything you need.
Due to road constructions, it's hard to get anywhere by foot currently. But taxis or transort are available or you just sip a coffee in front of the cabins!

The host was very friendly and prepared us an early breakfast. The cabin was quite spacious and provided everything we needed.
The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress needs to be replaced. The furniture was quite old and not very well maintained. The shared kitchen (the owner's kitchen) was rather messy, I don't recommend cooking there. Unfortunately, the nearby highway is very noisy.

great location right off the main road 32. Super clean and nice room with AC that worked great! the bed was comfy and it was such a great value for the price. breakfast was included and was delicious. Anita the owner even let me pick a papaya right off the tree for breakfast which was amazing! there were also baby chicks only a few days old that we got to see. went here before a rafting trip and it was wonderful, Anita made the stay amazing
only complaint is that it’s close to the highway so it’s noisy but all of the pros far outweigh the noise

Anita and her family are very nice hosts. They fell in love with or 9 month old son. The rooms was clean and offered enough space. In the morning Anita took us for a small tour to see all the animals in her garden. There are two species of frogs and some birds. Muchas Gracias. Pura Vida!

Ronnie and Anita are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for rafting the Pacuare, and the food was delicious. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but they are certainly sufficient, and in-line with the cost. We spotted toucans, poison arrow frogs, and even a sleeping jaguar in a tree in the wilderness path behind the property.

The room, the customer service, the experience. Anita is a great host. We will definitely recommend it.

The food we were served all home cooked was lovely. Anita is a great host and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Far from everything so even as a stop over place before rafting tours you are stuck just at the place itself.

What makes this a special place to stay is the owner/host, Anita. The family and family dog are very nice to.
Anita is super cool, very friendly, positive, upbeat and such fun.
She is also happens to be very knowledgeable on the plants and animals around the property. You'll likely see her outside in the early morning doing things with her plants, maybe in the evenings also. If you have some free time, I highly suggest asking her about her plants and the animals around the property when you see her out there. She will enthusiastically show you around and point out some cool things.
In the evening she will ask you what time do you want breakfast and in the morning when you walk over to the restaurant, you have a great, healthy, tasty and traditional, Costa Rican breakfast waiting for you. We were very happy travelers.
Finally, before you leave, be sure to leave you mark on the restaurants walls. If you have time read some. People from all over the world.
No matter how you may be feeling, she will make you feel happy.
Ps - For us, this is a great place for a short stay rental, maybe 1-3 nights especially if you will be departing the next day for rafting or coming back from rafting and need a place to overnight or regroup for a day or 2. This is where I will highly recommend staying.
Maybe the bathroom needs some tlc.

Nice quaint place just off the highway, perfect to break up the drive to the Caribbean side. Real nice owner family 😊
Unfortunately the highway is filled with loud trucks even at night which penetrate the walls so bring earplugs

Wow, Anita and Ronny are amazing hosts. From the first moment we felt like home with old friends. They are so kindful. This is real pura vida.
Ronny picked us up at Siquirres Bus Station and invited us for lunch. Anita cooked a very delicious soup. So yummy. Im the morning they showed us the wildlife in their garden. Tucans and little colorful frogs. So beautiful. There is a big river where you can go swimming.
It was a pleasure to be Anita & Ronny guests. We'll come back. Highliy recommend this Cabinas
