The location to the beach was great. Especially with children. It was close to the road but we were able to manage. There was an issue with ants that we had to address and the property management helped handle quickly. Cookware was useable and had what we needed. However when we left our clothes had a smoke smell residue. It wasn’t something we noticed while we were there but did get in our clothes bags and pillows. Overall we liked our stay we have 4 small children so we did have to keep a close eye but we enjoyed it.

Positives - Location, Beach Access, House Cleanliness, Linen and towels provided, Beautiful views of the ocean, Beach was never crowed, Plenty of space for a family of 4.
Negatives - Master Bed - Hard as a rock, Beach equipment - 2 chairs, 1 broken bogie board, 3 beach towels - for a house that can sleep eight people was disappointing, No gutters on front of house - had to downpours and trying to type in code and get into house I was quite soaked by the time we got in.

The views were amazing! Everything was very clean.

Overall, we really enjoyed this property. There are beautiful views of the beach from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom, and the home is located close to downtown.
There were two negatives for us:
1. This house is VERY close to the road (I am talking about a car length or less), and the road is very busy. There are no back stairs to the beach, and the front stairs are right by the road. Because of this, I was not comfortable with my kid going outside unless she was with an adult. Also, the guest bedroom with the queen bed is at the front of the house. Whoever slept in the room was woke up by traffic sounds and headlights shining in the windows.
2. We had to bring A LOT of things ourselves. You know how you stay in some rental homes and the owners go above and beyond to make sure everything is provided for you? This is not one of those properties, and I think it is because it is company managed, not owner managed. There was less than one paper towel roll provided, so we had to bring paper towels. There was only 2 small garbage bags provided, so we had to purchase our own garbage bags. There was only one laundry pod and dishwasher pod provided, so we had to bring those ourselves as well. For each bathroom, there was 2 toilet paper rolls provided, so we are okay there. I also had to bring my own cooking utensils (the pots and pans I wanted to use) because those provided have certainly seen better days. The only pan provided was a pizza pan.

Overall stay was great! Only downside was that the cleaning crew showed up an hour before we were supposed to check out and sat there waiting and watching while my family and I packed up our car. It was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, great property with great views.

This house is perfect for a small family or for friends (as long as no one minds bunk beds)
The kitchen /den/breakfast area are all open and perfect for entertaining. We were able to open the doors and windows to the deck overlooking the beach.
The beds are comfortable and the master bathroom was a dream!
We will return!

This location is great. It was two adults and a 12yr old for the first few days of our stay and we were then joined by two more adults for a couple days. There was plenty of room for everyone. The photos of this location are accurate. Access to the beach was just mere steps away.
The property was clean and 'starter' supplies were located in the home (a few trash bags, a couple rolls of toilet paper, dish soap, a pack of dishwasher powder, bar soap) but we gathered additional supplies from the store to last for our week.
The home has plenty of plates, cups and silverware. There are cutting boards, knives, coffee makers and toaster. There are a couple pans; these are old and worn and could be replaced soon.
There were clean linens, plenty of towels. A nice touch to this property would be oversized bath towels to compliment the oversized showers.
I would've really liked to see a TV in the 'kid' room with the bunk beds.
The views in this house are beautiful. The waterhoses by the front door and on the balcony are a nice touch for rinsing off sand, etc. The cushions on the balcony furniture need some TLC, but they sure did not stop me from taking a nap out there.
We enjoyed our stay here and made some great memories. Would absolutely stay at this location again in the future.

We had 8 young adults and the house was just as advertised and just what were looking for. However we found items that belonged to the previous renters in the sheets of one of the beds so that was a little concerning that the sheets might not have been changed. We let the property manager place know when we left and you could tell they were concerned. We wish we had a few more things in the kitchen. For example, we only had two small trash bags and only one pod for the dishwasher which isn't going to work for eight people for a week. Otherwise...we had a great time and great location.

We have stayed in this house three times now. The location is perfect to the beach (right on it) and the wonderful restaurants in Fernandina Beach. The master suite is large with huge shower, etc
Two observations: 1.)There are no plastic cups in the kitchen, only glass - perhaps that is silly to mention but it would be nice to have a few non-breakable drinking glasses
2.) The dining table is very small and uncomfortable - it has 4 seats that are attached that swing out. Luckily the kitchen island is huge so if one wants to put a puzzle together, it is great
Otherwise, the new couches are comfortable for tv watching and the kitchen is large but not overly generously outfitted. It is okay.

Relaxing stay
We had a nice stay - being right on the beach was wonderful! I do wish they provided beach towels and chairs/umbrellas - seems odd for a beach house to not have these things available. Otherwise, the property was as described.

Amelia vaca
House needs a lot of touches. It was nice but honestly, the owner you clean up, paint, remove rust, clean up junk outside and underneath the walkway. It looks like a remodel patch job. Love the potential. Probably not rent this one again .

We love the beaches of N.FL
Very nice and ample home. Great for even two families with kids. The quiet of the beach is just the best. Thank you for a wonderful spring break!

Beautiful Ocean Views
We truly enjoyed our location. Very short distance from house to beach. The house was very nice and clean. There are stairs from the entry to the living level and stairs with a landing area from the living area to the bedrooms.
Kitchen has gas cooking which is awesome. All in all a great trip.
You will need to call the rental company with key pickup and return. No communication with us from them, although they were very pleasant when we called and very helpful!

We had a great experience here. Very close to the ocean, fantastic views, large kitchen. Also a short drive to historical downtown.

Perfect location and breathtaking views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach, just steps away. The balcony was perfect for kids and adult relaxation. Kitchen well appointed and we loved the big island.House was spotless when we arrived and the views breathtaking. Would definitely recommend.

Terrific location, disappointing property.
Terrific location. The property itself left a lot to be desired for a house that rents at these high prices. Some property furnishings were soiled and stained. Not fit for a property like this and should have been replaced a long time ago. Main sofa resembled something from a frat house. Cleanliness at checkin left a lot to be desired. Found chewed gum in drawers. Floors were dirty. We had to re-clean the floors ourselves when we moved in. Broken faucet in kitchen. Stovetop burner not working. Broken outlets, potentially a safety issue. Rental company were very sympathetic when these issues were reported, but they should have been addressed before checkin. Feels like more regular and thorough quality checks are needed. We would rent in this area again, but not this house, at least until these issues were addressed.

Beautiful view.
View beautiful. Close to good restaurants.
Best hiking trails ever close to the house.
A little disappointed in the kitchen. We stayed a month and it is really set up for weekly rentals at most.

Great oceanfront getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay on Amelia Island and this home is perfectly suited for 8 guests! Location, location, location, and the home was comfortable and appropriate for families with young children. It is a well loved home and is beginning to show some signs of excessive wear.
The only disappointment was a slight odor (and not from the nearby paper mill) that permeates home, perhaps from previous smoking guests. There are a couple of comments about Fabreeze, and we tried to mask the odor with it, but without complete success.
Despite the odor, we’d certainly consider staying here again, as we spent most of our time on the beach or on the oceanfront porch!
All and all, a 4.5/5 property.

Great location right on the beach
A very nice house - well laid out, great beach views, and direct access to the beach. With two bunk beds in one bedroom and the direct access to the beach, it is perfect for kids wanting beach time. And the beach itself is lovely. My only suggestion - ask the cleaners to ease up on the febreze. It took two days for the smell of it to clear up.

Nice Property/Great Views but lacking finer touches to make a great property
In this price range guests should expect those common nice touches typically found in similar price homes. In the Master Bedroom the fitted sheet was too small did not fit the bed and the bed sheets were poor quality for this price property. No bath/shower products provided. Cleaning products used before our arrival smelled so bad and was so objectionable we had to buy products with a nice scent and mop the floors again to remove the foul smell. Trash cans are placed by the front door in plain sight and smell of everyone entering the house. Used cigars and other trash in the sand leading to the beach.
This could be a great property with a little more attention to details.

Just right!
This property was a perfect fit for our family of 6. The house was clean and cozy. You cannot beat the direct beach access and it was easy to get in and out without bringing the beach inside with us each time.
We have visited Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach several times and this is a property we would definitely rent again. Excellent location - nice place!!

Beautiful
The house was great and the view was awesome.
The house has 1 air conditioner, but two thermostats. There is a thermostat for downstairs and one for upstairs. The thermostats control a damper system, which allows you to cool or heat them at different temperatures. I mention this, because if you don't look for the second thermostat upstairs, you will get hot in the bedrooms. I own an air conditioning company, so I figured it out pretty fast, but many people might not realize it.

Gorgeous!!!
We hope to stay again soon!!! The views from the master bedroom and the kitchen and living area are to die for!!! HUGE walk in showers. And closet. Linens were super nice and YES THEY COME WITH THE PROPERTY!! very kid friendly as well!!

The house was lovely.
I will say for the price of renting, I think not having linens provided is why I would not rent again. I cannot remember the last time I rented anywhere that they were not provided.
