The hotel was exceptionally clean, staff were friendly and helpful.

Location, decor, staff, adjoining restaurant was exceptional
The small double bed was not ideal for a couple, the temperature was cold for the time of year and could have done with being able to put the heating on to take he chill off the room and be able to dry the towels.

Absolutely fantastic little hotel! Attention to detail, clean as a whistle, super comfortable bed, easy check-in & check-out, great location close to retail park, McDonald's, etc, and a fantastic little restaurant right beside the hotel! And then there is Jeanette, the best receptionist on the planet š, not only did she go the extra mile, but she went an extra ten miles to accommodate! Highly recommend!
Everything was great!

Bed very comfortable, staff lovely
Nothing to dislike

Was exactly as expected - basic, but clean and functional, and good value for a family room. Good location for visiting Beamish. Breakfast was very good with a broad range of options.
Could've done with more info on the breakfast arrangements, especially in the absence of anyone on reception, but the lady at the restaurant next door clarified everything when asked.

Great room size! Super comfortable
It would be nice to have a good big mirror in the room, apart from the bathroom

I liked the safety of using the fobs to gain access for guests only to the rooms
I liked the size of the room and the added bonus of the kitchen which I didnāt expect
I didnāt like the mattress on the beds, very lumpy and uncomfortable and the ādoubleā was two singles pushed together so the middle of the bed was uncomfortable as well
The radiator was also turned onto 5 before I arrived which made the room way too hot even with the windows open it took a long time to lose the heat

Location was great and so clean. Didnāt see a single staff member but they had left us full clear instructions as we were arriving so late. Even got upgraded to a triple to give us extra room as we had wanted a twin room.

Really lovely modern hotel with nice sized rooms and excellent facilities.
The double bed was two single ones pushed together which is fine but they were different heights and not done very well so kept waking up on the āgapā so didnāt have a great sleep which is a shame because we had a lovely room.

The staff are very friendly and helpfull
Not keen on having my window without a restrainer cable on, as we were on the ground floor so had to sleep with the window closed. Could also do with a bottle of hand soap next to the sink.

Struttura pulita, come in uso uk non rifanno la stanza e se consumi qualcosa lo devi riferire alla reception
Colazione scarna essendo effettuata in struttura convenzionata, non tutte le pietanze del menĆ¹ erano disponibili. Piatto doccia estremamente scivoloso

It was clean and staff were friendly

Modern rooms, new bathrooms, good soundproofing, free parking, restaurant on site, easy checkin, lounge area for meetings , etc.
What it maybe lacks in kerbside appeal is more than made up for in the welcome, the cool rooms with modern art, and the staff who are always great.
Nothing wrong here. There is no late bar / food, but it's central for other amenities.

Good value, clean, comfortable, very friendly. Great shower. 2 minutes from a nice Starbucks for breakfast. Comfortable bed. Easy access by car, with car parking. Felt like a safe area. Surprisingly quiet.
There was confusion about whether they were still listed on booking.com
TV turned itself on!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean. The place was good value for money, very reasonable price for a one night stay. Did the job.
The 'double' bed was tiny. Closer to a single than a double (as advertised), so it was an uncomfortable sleep with two.
Also, There were no lamps in the room, which I feel is needed.

The room was ok basic . bed was comfortable. Parking easy.
Staff were very good with helping bringing fan milk etc . Turns out our booking wasnāt on the list luckily they were not busy and had space. Not far from beamish as was the purpose of the trip
The town centre is really shut down boarded up have to drive elsewhere for a decent meal . I donāt think Iād go back to Stanley again.
No breakfast but there is a adjoining new restaurant called rangos I donāt think itās the hotel but must have a link ? had one breakfast was really horrible not fresh or tasty at all , but reheated and not even hot either. I left most of it . No one else in there tells a story I guess. Iād go elsewhere for food .

Staff friendly, good location for what we was there for, bed comfy and room clean.
The sink in the bathroom was blocked and the door did not lock on the inside.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 18 with the kitchenette facilities which were more than adequate, however I think plates and more cutlery could have been supplied in room.
All good

The location was perfect for me as I have family who live in Stanley. I travelled from Anglesey N.Wales on the Thursday for a family wedding on Friday. I'd already booked the venue for 2nights but needed somewhere for the 3rd night so booked Hotel 52. It was great and met my needs.
The check-in could have been a bit smoother as the room wasn't ready for 3pm so we went to Rangos for a drink (it's a new restaurant) just opened that day so wasn't a issue.

Shower very noisy. new toilet roll holder had been fitted, plaster dust all over floor , Brackets on the wall, under the mirror but something missing?, cracked window , tv was originally on a bracket on the wall but now on dressing table which was too low to watch in bed . and no where to put anything . no chairs to sit on, there was only 4 hangers good job only staying 2 nights . several cracks in wall plasters. Expensive for what it was . Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Room ok and staff friendly
No bar or restaurant facilities and wasn't told about it in advance. Extremely noisy from the room next door until 3am spoke to reception who knocked on their door and it stopped but then restarted at 7am and continued until we left at 10.30am. We had hardly any sleep at all during the night. I would like a full refund having spoken to the receptionist before I left this morning.

The beds were comfortable, nice linen.
The whole experience was just dreadful. On arrival we were told that there was no food, the restaurant was closed. So no breakfast or evening meals. We had a 5 year old with us. Our first morning we had to go to Asda for breakfast? Easter Sunday our second day, Asda was shut, so we bought food from Asda and ate in the room, not what we were expecting when we spent Ā£350? The room smelled of damp really badly, to the point they had an electric smellie installed. No window to open in bedroom or bathroom. One huge window in bedroom, had to have blind closed all the time for privacy, as overlooked by residential properties.
Where the hospitality tray was we couldnāt plug the kettle in due to there being no socket. We had to plug kettle in by bedside table on the floor. Not safe at all when there is a 5 year old in the bedroom. We stayed in a family room, we had one chair to sit on and 3 coat hangers for 4 of us? There are supposed to be six each.
The double bed had two bedside tables, but only one bedside lamp. The two tiny single beds didnāt have bedside tables, lamps or even sockets, so we couldnāt charge phones or I pads up.
We didnāt have Wi Fi in the room even though advertised free wi fi, same as the breakfast. Had to ask for a hairdryer and a remote control for the TV. When they gave us a remote it came without a back, so the batteries were exposed, again so dangerous with a 5 year old. The door lock was broken, it took ages to get ourselves into the room each time. There was not a wardrobe, so there were no spare pillows or blankets. The room was very cold at night I think they must have turned the heating down or off, as we couldnāt regulate it properly. The TV was pleased on the wall opposite the double bed, so not all beds could see the TV. No bottle of water, tissues, had to keep asking Karen for top ups of so many things. I asked for housekeeping but didnāt get it we stayed 3 nights?
We took our rubbish with us no housekeeping.
