Great value for your money especially around fall time when the sun is still nice.

Access the the Aqua House and Thermal. Low occupancy when we were there. Peacefulness.

Cleaning lady entered room even though we put the card with “do not disturb” out on the doorknob.

Minunat sejurul, recomand din suflet locatia !!

Mic dejun excelent si foarte diversificat, camera curata si spatioasa, prosoapele au fost schimbate zilnic. Locatia hotelului este perfecta, intr-o oaza de verdeata amenajata cu mult bun gust, iar apa din piscina exterioara a fost la incalzita la temperatura perfecta ! As reveni oricand la aceasta locatie ❤ ❤ ❤ Recomand !!! *****

Great hotel and atmosphere, the staff aren’t nice, but I would still recommend to people come there. We had a good exper

We liked the look and feel of the property. Everything was super fine - the view, the garden, the pool, the lobby. Modern design - in a good way. We also liked the fact that the kids pool was warm and nice. There was a café right next to it so the parents could enjoy frappe while the kid is swimming, and you can watch him from the café. The location is great - it’s right next to the beach, and also the restaurants around our are very good. It looks very high end location and atmosphere. The singers in dinner were very professional, and there was a romantic atmosphere in the garden of the main restaurant. There is a pianist, looks like a princess at the lobby- she is amazing. If you buy also the Aqua house free entrance, it’s also one of the best spa and thermal pools we’ve been at. The view to the sea is amazing and also the atmosphere.

- Most of the stuff never smile, and it looks like they’re doing your favor even talking to you. - the kids club is not real- we saw in the website that they have a kids club, but actually there is only a room with toys and no stuff is there.

Good value for money

We loved the hotel. The room was very big and clean, the bed confortable, nothing to complain about. Good variety of food also.

Just 2 minor inconveniences - the soap and water were not refilled unless we asked for them.

Good stay - would come back

The pool area is large and comfortable and clean, the pool itself is heated and very uncrowded. There is a separation line where people who want to swim longer can do that. The umbrellas could be a bit larger, but it is not a big downside, as one could change sinners depending on time of the day. Rooms are spacious and clean, big TV set, cleaners replace the bedding periodically and replenish complementary water and coffee. Quite tranquil, despite 3 weddings within 10 days at the property. Nice musical performances in the lobby. Good gym. Have not used the seaside beach. Breakfast food was good, we generally went for dinner outside, buffet dinner in the hotel was ok, but without any drinks included.

Chairs could have been better cleaned at the pool bar, soft drinks should be included with the buffet dinner. The reception area seemed a bit understaffed, and the staff at the pool sometimes forgot to bring parts of the order. But overall the stay was very pleasant and relaxing.

Peaceful and green

The fact that the pool has a special lane for swimmers. The garden is really beautiful. The lobby looks really fancy. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good.

The private beach is not in front of the hotel.

Tot complexul hotelier arata superb. Personalul foarte amabil, camera spatiosa si foarte confortabila. Mancarea gustoasa si variata.

Lumina de pe terasa nu se poate opri. Este o lumina decorativa, care se opreste aproape de miezul noptii, dar chiar si asa, mi-ar fi placut sa o pot porni si opri din camera. Ar fi fost util si un smart-tv pentru zilele ploioase sau serile in care ai prefera un film in camera..

I loved the hotel, reading the negative reviews I almost changed it but I'm glad I didn't we went in October so maybe due to being out of season my experience wasnt as bad as others. The hotel is stunning, similar to the pictures. The thermal spa is part of another hotel and you have to walk to in around 200ft most ppl walk over in their robes. The room was very spacious and clean. We had the all inclusive - which includes soft drinks and alcohol, breakfast,lunch and dinner at set times. The soft drinks werent the best especially the pepsi/coke it was a syrup version, but they have juices and other fizzy drinks. They have a games room located next to the spa which was great if you want to play snooker,table tennis ect. Plenty of outdoor space to sit with your drinks or inside, overall I would recommend a visit.

We had a mix in terms of staff, some were friendly while others weren't.Staff didn't speak English and some were dismissive when trying to arrange a taxi with reception. Breakfast,lunch and dinner,there is a good selection, however it does get repetitive if you're staying a week like we did. Also if you're a pescatarian it can be difficult as there was meat in the salads too! I would suggest more of a variety of seafood considering the location of the hotel and more veggie options.

Disappointing

Bed sheets must be changed at least every other day in 4 star hotel. Carpet in corridor looked not clean. Sometimes they closed half the restaurant, so there was not enough space to find place to eat. The quality of food might be better

The hotel is new, spacious and well maintained, in a good location and with helpful staff. Food quality and variety is OK.

The SPA centre could be bigger for a hotel like Astor Garden. Nevertheless, nearby large thermal house is available for Astor guests at no additional charge.

Great as ever. Will keep returning.

Warm rooms in chilly weather so it was very comfortable. Staff was great as ever (just one lady at the reception was having a bad day, maybe). Food was very good and diversified. Excellent service at the restaurant. Always come back here with an open heart. Management has done an excellent job!

Good

The location was wonderful, close to the beach, beautiful views from the hotel room. The food was wonderful for the value for money, especially the restaurant MONTY exceeded my expectations, the waiter was also incredible nice, funny and professional. Overall the hotel was beautiful and definitely good value for money.

The Spa was a little run down, even Acquahouse with all of the extra little adds ons requiring extra payments was not that great. My biggest problem was with a few of the hotel staff with one person being extremely rude for no reason. I also booked a massage and was not informed that the therapist would be male, which I would usually expect. However I have to say that the massage therapist did an AMAZING job. My last con was that my beathroom had a bit of an unpleasant sewage smell to it at times, but none of my others friends had the same problem.
