Nice room, nice family. Perfect to view the sunset.
Perfekt bathroom, considering the location on a swimming Island.
Good customer service. Eddy took care of all needed transports and ask for food allergies etc. upfront the dinner.

Once the sun is gone it becomes cold. The gas heating should not run the whole night due to security reasons, but enough covers to keep you warm.

The stay was wonderful, the hosts were so kind and accommodating! We got to see the most beautiful sunset of our entire trip from the balcony of the island. They also cooked homemade delicious meals for us both for dinner and for breakfast. I can warmly recommend it.
The rooms were very cold, however, we were provided with hot water bottles to sleep with which was very kind.

My friend and I stayed at this lodge for two nights. Only one word to explain the experience: incredible (increĂble!).
Eddy, our host, arranged everything for us: a taxi picked us up in the centre and dropped us at the port, then Eddy took us to the floating island aboard his little boat. Once there, his mother was standing at the little embarcadero to welcome us despite the late hour; at that point we realized that our stay would shortly turn into an amazing adventure.
If you look for genuine relationships and real Uros’ cuisine, made with self-made ingredients plus some of them obtained from the mainland via “barter” (exchange of goods), then this is for you.
The 2-hour private tour was lovely and informative about the Uros’ culture and it cost just a little extra.
We also rented the kayak for a little workout and tour around the islands, which was kindly offered to us.
This is your choice if you wish to spend a few days of relax and adventure on the Titicaca lake.

Wonderful to experience how the Uros people live on their floating Reed islands. Eddy and his family very welcoming and Eddys perfect English much appreciated. Stunningly beautiful lake.
This is tricky, you are on a floating island .. facilities basic, surroundings stunning.

good way to get a feel of the local peoples life.
rooms were big.
wenn sunny warm.

the toilet was like a cat toilet. you had to throw some sort of sand top of your number 2 so it didn’t stink.

Eddie was amazing host! We learned so much about the Uros, local culture. Food made by his mom was awesome!
Very cold nights, be prepared. But Eddie's dad gave us botles with hot water and it helped.

Eddy and his family are super friendly and always there to help. Location is exceptional so peaceful and a lovely place to relax. There is tours, kayaking and canoeing. Each room have an outdoor terrace with bed. Amazing thought living on a floating island.
The only two things is that it can be a little cold during the nights and the food could use some extra spices maybe some chilli. 👏🏻

Its an island with that in mind: nothing wrong here

The experience to be on a floating island was incredible and the sunset views were unique and special.
We were very disappointed with the overall experience. All of the lodges offer the same view, so it is not enough to just rely on that fact alone when providing this experience.
- The hosts were not friendly to us at all, we were dropped on the island and then could not find anyone for the next few hours, even to get some water. They barely spoke to us during our whole stay.
- We booked a boat tour at 2pm, but at 4:30pm we still couldn't find anyone and in the end went for a small, barely 1 hour tour before the sunset, but we were charged the full price.
- The dinner was well below average, with no local dishes or anything special, and was incredibly expensive (double the price to be found in Puno for a good meal)
- There was a lot of hidden charges like the transfer to the lodge and drinking water, which seems unfair considering the isolated circumstances.
- Heating in the rooms was advertised but it turns out we weren't allowed to use it.
- The shower had no pressure, so while it was hot it was difficult to have a shower anyway.
- Communication with the host was slow at times.

Everything, from the communication with Eddy for the pick-up, the accommodation itself and everything else in between. We were picked up by private transfer in a luxurious minivan and brought to the shore where Eddy picked us up. We had a short boat ride to the Island. Wow what an amazing place. Exquisite views all around and Eddy and his family are so kind and welcoming. The accommodation itself has a bathroom, shower with warm water, a great bed with warm blankets and also a seating area with more great views of the lake. We highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at this lodge. Host Eddy arranged our transfer to the island early in the morning at 5am. Everything went smoothly even though our bus from Cusco was 1h delayed. The spacious room got quit cold at night but we were provided with a hot-water bottle and lots of blankets. Eddy took us on a boat trip where he gave us insightful information about the Uros culture. We also got to take out the kajak and take a short trip on a traditional boat. The island was very quiet and we enjoyed reading our books on the patio.

Eddy and his family, including their dog, were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle service they provided was really punctual and the food was nicer than a lot of restaurants we have eaten in in Peru. The room was huge, the bed was comfy and the toilet was clean! The outdoor veranda was absolutely surreal for sunset.
We enjoyed everything about our stay but we do have one or two tips. 1) Bring your own beers for a sunset and your own water. 2) If we could go back we would probably give the tour a miss. You see as much going out to the homestay on the boat.

WOWWW!! One of the best experiences of my life. The Suaña Family were the best hosts and their hospitality was awesome. The property is beautiful and had so many unique touches. We loved every little thing about staying at Uros Aruntawi Lodge. They made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. Now book this place you won't regret it!

Eddy & his family were so welcoming! They arranged our taxi & boat transfers to/from Puno to their floating guest houses in Uros. Eddy provided a top notch private 1.5 hour tour of the area by boat. And Eddy's mother prepared a delicious breakfast & lunch.
Nothing to complain about. We received exactly what we purchased & more.

Eddy the host and his mother Salome were very very sweet and told us a lot about the selfmade island. The cabin was very cozy and there is an outside bed and terrace from which you can enjoy the breathtaking view on the lake Titicaca.
For half the price of the room we were able to stay until 18:30. The transfer to Puno was very smooth.
The breakfast was really great with fresh avocado, tomato, queso, juice, coffee and cake.
The room got very cold in the night but we got bottles with hot water.

Gorgeous place!! Rustic but totally understandable given it's in the middle of a lake!! They brought us hot water bottles at night! Not that we needed them but what a nice touch!
Delicious breakfast! Everyone was soooo friendly and our view was spectacular!!

If you can stay a night or two in Puno, then you must stay here. Eddy and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts. He sat with us for many hours telling us about how they live, their history and how they build their reed islands. His mum prepared a lovely 3 course meal. The accomodation is spacious with a bed inside and outside. The bathroom was clean and the whole place was well furnished with lots of attention to detail to make the stay pleasant. The beds and pillows were memory foam so great night sleep waking up to stunning views of the lake, mountains and city.

An URO family is your host, while you stay there. They prepare the meals for you and are generally available for you. Eddy is also pretty fluent in English. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets from their island.

the best was the terrace in the room where we could watch the sunset
breakfast was amazing, lots of food! other meals were also good, always 2 courses served at least
