The garden and pond. The bed was comfortable and beautiful view from the window. There were horses, donkeys and Lammas in the garden too.
Lack of parking. The welcome on arrival. The dust. The breakfast. The attitude of the staff at first.

Beautiful gardens, clean towels and bed linen.
poor quality breakfast

Bed very comfortable and clean, the garden was beautiful
Huge dead spider on the wall in the dining room.
Bread had blue mould, sausage not cooked through.
Only enough hot water for one of us to shower.
2.0
Host was friendly and bed was comfortable.
Hot water rab out before all could shower. Breakfast was late, undercooked with toast that was blue moulded, tomatoes that were undercooked, and potatoes that were cold. Host didn't seemed to be prepared and we ran out of time to bring these items to his notice.
The wifi code wasn't accepted.

Thanks to Rose and Heinz for their warm welcome, especially Rose who chauffeured us to and from the pub until all hours!!
So sweet and kind of her, we recommend anyone passing Iniskeen to stop off there for a night or more :)

The food was exceptional!! And generous portions! The host was very charming and friendly. He also allowed our big dog to stay with us as he is blind.
The hot water ran out; coffee making facility in the room would have been nice, it needs a thorough spring clean.

Heinz, the owner, was extremely welcoming and understanding. He cooked us a lovely Irish breakfast and tended to our every need. Would defo recommend. Thank you Heinz.

Heinz is a really nice host, accommodated us at the very late hours of the night, all our fault! Sat down with us at breakfast and chatted just general life, something you don't get at most places. Will definitely be back

Rose and Heinz were fantastic hosts and they looked after us really well. The house has lots of character and it's very well situated in the lovely village of Inniskeen. I'd highly recommend a stay in Gleneven House!

Shower should be refreshed

Great location. Made the most of Patrick Kavanagh walking trail and a wonderful village. Both hosts Rose and Heinz are charming, as is their home.
Nothing.

The breakfast was lovely. Option of pink grapefruit for cereal was special. Cooked breakfast very nice too.

Decent price, beautiful location
Strange greeting from host, told to wait on doorstep as she wasn't aware of any guests staying!
Room wasn't the cleanest, but I wouldn't even use the shower, it was disgusting, unclean and the shower tray was that old and decaying it had been constantly filled with filler or sealent. Unacceptable just replace it!!!
TV was so high on the wall that even a 6ft 2 guest couldn't see it and that's irrelevant anyway as there was virtually no signal on any channel.....
And rooms are definitely NOT soundproofed.
7.0
remote location, quiet, half way between destinations
address of location was difficult for Sat Nav to locate
1.0
Nice yoghurt at breakfast
Broken tile edges in shower room.
Shower cubicle mouldy, been repeatedly covered over with silicone.
Dirty carpet in room.
Very dated decor.
Small TV above wardrobe - hard to see.
Uncomfortable bed.
No tea/ coffee facilities in room.
Small cooked breakfast swimming in oil.
