The breakfast was delicious. It was great to be able to access the kitchen when we wanted. The location was blessed with beautiful scenery.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like. Everything about my stay was fantastic. The hosting was brilliant too.

The hosts were so lovely and kind, and kept in touch with me as well as waiting up to let me in when my flight was delayed. The breakfast wasn't made for you, but the fridge was stocked with sausages and bacon and eggs and bread and milk and everything you could want to make a snack or meal.
I saved money by staying here and renting a car rather than staying in downtown Dundalk where my work was.
The bathroom is shared but there are multiple ones so you never wait, and both are kept very clean. There's lots of hot water.
I especially enjoyed building a fire and playing piano one blustery afternoon.

Good value for money. Comfortable bed, quiet location, easy parking. Plenty of food available.
Felt a bit more like an upmarket hostel with shared bathrooms etc making your own breakfast was also a little out of the ordinary.

A beautiful house ,charming old parochial house.
I was made very welcome and given the run of a fully stocked kitchen .
I really recommend this house .
I ate too much from the stocked up fridge and kitchen cupboards ,otherwise my stay was perfect.

Very accommodating host as I arrived close to midnight and she was still up. Building has lots of its original features in place. Very comfortable stay.
Breakfast is a make it yourself affair which I quite enjoyed but if you are looking for a full Irish breakfast served to you, this is not the place.

Host was lovely
Room cold, window broken so wouldn’t close. Carpets, bathrooms old and needed touch up. Showers very poor.

I had the most amazing stay. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They allowed me check out late and kindly help me iron my garment! They went above and beyond. By far the best bnb I have ever stayed in in Ireland. Just perfect. Thank you!!

Lovely guest in the rural village of Knockbridge Co. Louth. I stayed with friends for a weekend cycling. Owners gave us a proper Irish welcome and couldn't do enough for us.

Cozy and lovely accommodation in the countryside. It's easier to reach it know as there are public lights on the main road and, when dark, it is possible to see exactly where is the entrance to the house. Convenient private parking. Nice double room. Standard self catering breakfast.
The kitchen management and the overall breakfast have room for improvement.

I wasn't given a chance to stay there because the owner overbooked on the date I suppose to be there for two nights,I was going through a lot of stress
Overbooking is not supposed to happen when managed by the website. I booked the room way in advance. It's ruined my weekend which I really was looking forward to

We were at a wedding at Darver Castle. 2.50 miles from Parochial House. The owner of the house left us up to Darver Castle in her car, but first we had tea and coffee. Mairead the owner was lovely, she made us so welcome, I felt that I had known her for years. I hugged her when we were leaving. I feel I have made a new friend. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom and shower + toilet were clean and tidy. I would recommend the Parochial House to anyone. 10/10.👫
Nothing at all. I would love to see it again in Summer.
