The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was fully kitted out. Garden was a bonus
The bathroom door (upstairs) was noisy to open and close in the night. I would prefer duvet covers that aren't so noisy (i.e. not cotton). Some windows didn't have coverings downstairs.

Excellent location, awesome facilities. Dedicated highly responsive team. Thus is great delight for my family and I. Thank you very much. Will be back. Abiodun Solanke
Everything was superb. The dryer worked well at the beginning of our stay then gave some error messages. This issue was quickly attended to.

Very sweet cottage within very easy walk of Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks. Gorgeous sheep-filled fields perfect for a walk. Characterful, clean and quiet.
Boiler howled regularly through day and night, and a dining table chair was broken, but we've been assured these issues are being looked at. Parking is very tight. Twin bed mattresses are not fantastic, but master bedroom is comfortable.

Lovely house at an amazing location

The linen was clean ( bedding, towels etc) and there were plenty of towels. The cottage was generally clean but we did not cook there so cannot rate the kitchen facilities.
Beds were comfortable and once we got the heating working it was warm and cozy. it was close to Hurstpierpoint and we thoroughly enjoyed the New Inn Pub at the far end of the village.
Arriving at the property we were initially shocked at how run down the exterior was. wooden window frames falling apart, peeling paint etc. it certainly did not inspire us with any confidence and I was dreading going inside to see what it was like. however the inside was ok snd clean. no heating had been left on so the cottage was very cold for the first few hours. once we got the gang of how the heating worked we were more comfortable. Unfortunately the very noisy boiler that makes a scream like sound kept us awake the first few nights.
We did have some problems with a key that kept slipping in the lock and I called the number given, I found the response unhelpful and quite disinterested. I was told she couldn’t call me back as I had a foreign number!! luckily I managed to find a second key which worked better.
the office eventually texted me back but I do feel the customer service skills could be improved.

The location of the house is lovely with walks immediately outside
The bedding was clean and the towels were white and fluffy. The main bathroom has been updated.
The house was in need of a deep clean, especially inside the secondary glazing which had numerous dead flies trapped in it. My son-in-law had to clean the drain in the shower cubicle which was overflowing due to previous occupants hair and collected dirt. He did take some photographs which were not pleasant to view!
The kitchen units are old and have been painted at some time the but paint is wearing off showing the original wood beneath. The microwave had a very bad smell when we used it and I found it necessary to clean it both inside and out.
The outside of the house is in desperate need of attention as paint is flaking on the door and window frames and much of the wood is rotten.
The house is not suitable for more than 5 people and the fire safety certificate only allows for 5. We were a group of 6 and I did check with the owners regarding the number of occupants but was assured it could accommodate 6. My husband was forced to sleep on an airbed as the 3rd bedroom only has a single bed and not enough floor space for a 6th person.

Fantastic location with fenced garden and access to walks for the dog.
Plenty of hot water for baths, crisp bed linen and big towels. Kitchen well equipped including tea/ coffee and basics
Travel cot left up in one of the bedrooms which was in the way of the only mirror near a plug socket for the hair dryer
A bit of confusion with the keys on arrival as key box empty but house was unlocked with keys on the table in the kitchen

The cozy quite lodge has everything you need to make you feel right at home. Location is also great. The shops are only a short walk away with walks also around the property. Excellent for long, short or family stays.
The Owners & Michelle were friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Danny Lodge.
On the weekends there are more people & some horses that walk in front of the house. Not really any problem especially if your use to suburbia.

Location, spacious and clean
Sofa was a little uncomfortable

The house was lovely and in a fantastic location. Everything you could need at the house was provided. We stayed with a 2.5 year old and 6 month old and found the highchair, toddler chair and cot very useful! Lovely fire.
The only negative is just from a parent point of view, there is a child gate going into the kitchen which is great but then there is nothing at the top of the stairs. The small bedroom is the easiest door to open and there is a huge risk of a child falling down the stairs in the dark.
