Large room and bathroom
No breakfast facilities and bed was lumpy

Comfortable clean and peaceful for two nights.
Rather small en suite

It was convenient to visit family in Hurstpierpoint, good information in advance about how to access the property.
This is purely a personal preference. I'm not a great fan of memory foam mattresses - they tend to form a dip where you sleep and it feels like you are stuck in them. That is a personal choice though.
3.5
restaurant is excellent
room cleaning and lack of water pressure in shower (room 3)
4.5
Comfy bed and good loaction and breakfast left in room too. I gave a good review for staff though I didn't see any but the room was set up well.

It’s fantastic for the price. Quiet comfortable room, all the overnight amenities you would expect, complimentary tea coffee orange juice etc much much better than travel lodge for not much different price

clean and reasonably priced, comfy bed and the bistro next door had amazing food
bathroom had a few issues, the shower head would not stay in the same spot and kept sliding down which was annoying. sink a bit small!

What breakfast?
Bed and pillows uncomfortable, room stank of smoke, one of instant porridge capsules was half eaten by previous guest.
4.5
The location is perfect, parking a very short walk. The room was exceptionally clean, linen immaculate. Lovely tray supplied with water, orange juice, and coffee/tea.
There wasn’t anything to dislike!
4.0
location was excellent for what I needed, the communication from the property managers was wonderful & the room & bathroom were incredibly clean & comfortable
plenty of plug sockets in the room, but none next to a bedside table!

Good value for money
Useful having the restaurant downstairs
Quiet location
Our room smelt strongly of drains.
There was a low level constant noise that we couldn’t locate or identify.
The restaurant was good, but very expensive.

Excellent room - comfortable and well planned. Breakfast not included but with the tea/coffee they provided instant porridge pots and bottles of juice. Room small but well designed and ideal for a one night stop with our dog.
3.5
Room very nice, well decorated, clean & storage was practical. Bed was super comfy. To find glass bottles of water & juice alongside tea/coffee was great. I was impressed & thought it an extra special touch. Having had a busy day rushing around on top of my journey that was most appreciated. I got a photo of the winter sun setting from my window, which I've attached...twas luverly! Accessing the building via code key worked well.
Myself I did find the large central light in the room too bright, especially whilst resting on the bed watching TV. It was difficult to focus on anything else or relax with it on above so I had to turn it off. Maybe a side lamp would be good or a full shade for the central light. Whilst watching TV it was very bright. I felt I may need to put sunglasses on!! 😁 I was aware of a lingering odour from the shower room too. I sprayed perfume, but not pleasant & I don't have a particularly strong sense of smell since a sinus op! 🤔 Worth a check me thinks. Had I been staying a few nights I would have mentioned. Please note these are not complaints, simply observations on my part.

the location is perfect for us as is the accommodation as we were using it to spend time with family close by so didn’t require and catering. Also, after a previous stay l, I mentioned that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. this had been addressed in the few weeks before we stayed this time and we had very, very comfortable and restful nights.
There were very few tea and coffee sachets there for us.

Spacious room, very clean. Complimentary breakfast porridge pots and orange juice in the room.
Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Free parking close by.

The location. My room
I traveled alone & did not realise that the bistro & bar were closed at 15.00 on Sundays. I had no other place to sit than in my room as there is no lounge area.

good location good price . easy check in .
There was an overpowering bad smell from the what we think were the drains in the bathroom . it really spoilt the stay . Also it needs suitable bed side lights fur ambient reading . just two really bright wall mounted lights .
