Çalışanlarının hepsi mükemmel kalitede
Sadece odalardaki koltuklar daha temiz lekesiz olabilirdi

Nichts

The staff were friendly
The property needs a major facelift and fumigation.

La camera : bella e grande con piscina condivisa ( è tutta tua se non ci sono altri ospiti di fianco alla tua camera).
Il cibo: poca scelta e bassa qualità

Very disappointed
the baby cot had cockroaches i made my baby sleep and there was cockroach on her head we had to sleep with her on our bed, the private pool was dirty we had to request them everytime to come and clean it, they couldnt come for turndown service, we left the hotel evening and came back at night and the room was the same, the option for breakfast was very less, we have stayed to so many resorts in znz even the cheapest ones but they had nice options for breakfast.
I remember when i came to moja tu on 2021 the management was very good and thats why i decided to come again but this time i was very disappointed .
Am sorry to say this but moja tuu its not worth the price please change the management.

My stay was wonderful,John made sure to guide me through everything related to the stay and the possible activities in a very professional manner .
Location was the only downside, and it wasnt even that bad as you are less than 30min away from all the hot spots.

A lush resort, loved the greenery and the flowers. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. They provide a shuttle bus between the resort and south Kiwengwa Beach. As the resort does not have any beach this was much appreciated. To be fair, worth the price you pay.
The terrace and the pool at our villa was dirty. The pool area of the resort was even worse. It felt unsanitary and old. There is not much sunshine during the day since the resort building is tall and right next to the pool, so the sunshine lasted for around 3hrs. Same thing at the villas.

The villa was spacious and view was nice
Shower and pool water was salty!! I think property must inform the guest upon booking.
The person in reception wasn’t so friendly, whenever we request for something it never arrives or never happens. we requested for ice on our first day and didn’t get it till today!
The person who looks after tours (Big Ben) was aggressive about the tours.
kitchen wasn’t equipped and had a bad smell.
I don’t think i will ever stay in this hotel again!
Usually there is someone to help you with checkout, luggage and goodbye but it didn’t happen here although its a 5 stars hotel!
I had a nice experience in Zanzibar before but for this trip it could have been better!

We liked the pictures on booking.com and that was our mistake - not reading reviews before booking.
On arrival, hotel looks decent, staff is welcoming and polite. However, before you go to your room, Beny - the local tour salesman sits you down and starts selling tours and doesn’t listen that you are tired and do not want any tours until you become very strickt (almost rude).
The rooms need refreshing and some deep cleaning.
We found hair in shower, stains on walls and cockroaches. We came from safari, spent night in jungle tent and didn’t see a single cockroach, but here we got two. We killed both of them, went to reception to tell them about it.
Reception sent cleaner to our room, 20 min later - it is all clean. Reception girl was very polite, telling sorry all the time, but not offering any moral compensation (a free drink would have been a nice gesture).
Imagine our surprise, when we go back to room and dead cockroach is still in the middle of the room.
We had to ask them to come again, clean again - this is not what you want to do when you come to hotel after long journey.
I would recommend to avoid this hotel - there are much better placed hotels on Kiwengwa beach - this hotel has no beach and you need shuttle to get to the beach. We did exactly that and left this hotel with first shuttle in the morning. And we had awesome stay at next hotel - but thats a different review.

The staff (Particularly Israel on check in) were terrific. There was obviously a great amount of effort in the bed setting, so thank you. The Villas had an excellent view, the grand size of the rooms were great overlooking the ocean and was certainly beautiful. They were also flexible in offering a change in dates to our initial booking, dispute their no change booking policy. Thankyou for providing this flexibility, it was really appreciated! There is no beach front at the resort however, the hotel offered a free shuttle to the near by beach which was great.
We only had a one night stay here, so a lot of this was not chased up. This was clearly once a grand resort however, has become somewhat neglected over the years. The rooms were old and somewhat ageing due to exposure and a lack of maintenance - our doors to outside were quite stiff and difficult to move based on salt exposure and a lack of maintenance. A number of light switches did not work on arrival (which provided a laugh as we were being shown the room when the staff kept flipping switches until one worked). The rooms were grand, incredibly large however, did not have sufficient air-conditioning to cool the master bedroom or living area. The bathroom and kitchen were not cleaned to the standard you would normally expect. The grounds were not maintained, with 1-2 feet of grass surrounding the rooms both inside and outside the resort. Worst of all, the water is salt water. There is nothing worse than paying a decent amount of money to shower in salt water each night. The week prior, I had stayed in the centre of the Serengeti, far from any infrastructure or water supply, even here, I was able to have fresh water showers. If the government has not provided fresh water pipes to the area, I'm sure the resort can find another way to provide fresh water, as countless of resorts and tented camps have done so in the the middle of national parks, far from any supply.
This place has incredible potential, it just needs a lot of TLC to reach its potential.

beautiful design, very nice and polite staff
NO water supply in rooms, unable to shower, no hot water when you do get water.
Poor hygiene - rooms and dinning area dirty
poor breakfast, and service, no milk for tea
no privacy at pool villas

Big room and clean. Staffs were very nice.
Salty water in shower and tap, Power cut, water supply cut, no nearby shops or restaurants, beach is very far away. And everything is very expensive.

From a service perspective, the staff at Moja Tuku are superb. They went all out to ensure that my family and I were well taken care off.
Meshack, the concierge, assisted us with booking tours and introduced us to Ben, a local tour operator with a heart of Gold. Thanks to Meshack and Ben, we got see and experience the best of Zanzibar.
We had a half board option (breakfast and lunch) meals were average. hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade.
Huge downside is that there are so many cats around the dining area and at the hotel in general. A lot of stay cats begging at meal times. This really bothered us.

Large rooms
We have just arrived and we regret big time we did wasted the 💰
There is Nothing good about this hotel.
Overpriced. Location very far from everything, you will spend a fortune of money and time on daily basis to drive somwhere else. No restaurants around, only hotel menue which is quite limited in options.
Upon check in there was very loud music next to the pool but it was so loud that we could hear it in our room as well. When we asked whats going on, respond was Pool Rented Out For Privte Party. What?? Private party in the hotel guests are paying a lot of money to chill and have a piece. Afterwards went for dinner, music still going on...loud...cant hear waiter in the restaurant, had to shout to place my order for dinner. Wanted to go to the bar on the roof top but it was also rented out for some private event.
This is insane!!!!!
Dear future guests, kindly dont trust the photos on booking as unfortunately only the view is nice.
moreover no beach ...rocks everywhere...
pool occupied by private party, no beach, and what else can you do here???
NOTHING
The worst place!

Its perfect experience 👌. The staffs are exceptional, from reception to housekeeping and kitchen staffs everyone played a fantastic role to make our stay memorable. The real meaning of outstanding customer service.

the hospitality. the staff were exceptional
I usually don’t write reviews but I thought to make an exception this time round. On arrival, there was someone at hand to help with our luggages, we took the ferry so we were already very very tired. after checking in, Ben (the tour instructor) presented us with a list of activities which we could engage in during our stay and at a very reasonable price. He took us to everywhere we wanted to go outside the paid activities at no extra cost. For my birthday, they prepared my room to look so lovely, it was covered in petals and they made me a delicious cake to mark the occasion. Zuma who is a member of the Kitchen staff was absolutely brilliant, he got us everything we asked for with a smile and was always so polite and Kind. John was a great help also and in general, they all made our visit to Zanzibar memorable.

The sea facing room with the private pool was nice. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and you can also also items like eggs from the kitchen. The facilities like the common pool was nice too.
The rooms need some more decor, and some maintenance too. It felt quite empty. Besides, the split AC had water dripping from it which spread all across the room. We raised the matter with the management but it wasn't fixed during our stay. Hopefully it's fixed now.

Villa is extremely spacious and spread out with good sized rooms. Private pool access was a plus.
Food quality at the hotel wasn’t the best. They have a surcharge of 5$ at every instance of room service.
5.0
villa with private pool was nice, and the grounds were very pretty. staff seemed to do a good job cleaning. Godfrey, the driver, was so lovely and welcoming though. the remainder of staff were not friendly.
property is very old and run down. private villa pool needs a lot of work to bring it up to an appropriate standard. questionable drinking water practices- seem to be refilling plastic water bottles? food was very poor- limited selection, and what was present wasn’t good.
