This beautiful property helped to make our time in Santa Fe extraordinary. We hope to return!

I think that there needs better quality paper goods. The kitchen needs some basic spices and olive oil.
The television could be a better (no local channels) and it needs instructions. All in all this is a fabulous little casita.

Great location; though the temps were in the low 80's during most days, the rooms were very uncomfortable. There are no ceiling fans and a very small window unit for AC in the bedroom. the kitchen and living area were almost unbearable and we used plug in fans just to be able to sit in those rooms. Probably time for bug control, lots of spiders. Oh, and we kept all windows open to help with air flow since supposedly the nights should have cooled the air down naturally. But there was no circulation to pull in the cooler night air. Every morning, the kitchen was too warm by the time we were up around 7. In addition, my husband was stung by bee/wasp as we entered the gate to our roooms. Not much help from the manager, we had to go get some spray to even be able to unload. We killed five at our gate. I would not use during summer.

Thought we were walkable to downtown. But we are 65 and 70. We also didn’t know about the steps and I’m recovering from a broken arm. The bed also needs to be replaced, it’s not comfortable.

A beautiful location to celebrate our 27th anniversary! The home is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Easy walk to the Plaza, and nearby to everything! We’ll definitely be back!

Our rental in Santa Fe was perfect. We were in walking distance to the historic district, museums, restaurants and shopping. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Cute casita in a great location
Loved the southwestern adobe decor, well equipped and private with outdoor space front (w/ BBQ) and back. Would stay here again! One block up a hill from the plaza gave us the feeling of being away from the busyness of the center of town, but actually only a few blocks away. Also only a short walk to The Cross of the Martys -- a great place to take in the sunset and read about history on the plaques along the path to the cross.

Wonderful rental.
This property is absolutely beautiful and authentic. We absolutely loved it. It was clean, spacious, and was equipped with everything. The only negative I can think of was there were no clocks. Otherwise, it was just perfect!!!!

February getaway
My husband & I booked a week so that we could work and play in Santa Fe. The property was great and let us spread out as needed. We had fires a couple of evenings, picked up takeout and had some lovely meals at restaurants. Never got back in the car until it was time to go home, which is just what we wanted.

Relaxing visit to Campanilla Compound
Great visit during Thanksgiving week to this one bedroom unit. Note that the space is ideal for 2, and felt a bit cramped when our college-aged daughter joined us halfway through the stay. Having said that, the space is comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked for a vacation stay. Location is short walk to the Plaza and to amazing food and experiences. Note that there is a skylight directly over the bed, which provides great light during the day but also encourages early rising and no napping.

Happy Texas Visitors
Campanilla Compound is in a convenient location to downtown Santa Fe. The property is well maintained and had everything needed for a wonderful vacation experience.

A most gracious and generous experience
Absolutely excellent on every criterion. Quiet, comfortable, private, a pleaure to the eye. The hosts were perhaps the most "generous" we have had the pleasure to experiece with VRBO . . large and generouls linens, generously equped kitchen, a gracious space within an easy walk of the Plaza. We could not have been more pleased and cetainly look forward to many more stays.

Beautiful property, perfectly located
Conveniently near the plaza, lots of outside space. My wife and I took a class at St. John’s College and it was great for reading; lots of outdoor space.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more - it was perfect. The VRBO was very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we could possible need in a great location. Would highly recommend and hope to be back.

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable, Convenient!
All good things here. Feels like home, what else can we say. Come & see for yourselves! Everything opened up 5/1 so wear a mask, be socially responsible & go enjoy.

Problems
1. Terrible TV quality. Picture quality not HD. Limited channel selection. Voice and action out of sink.
2. Water pressure low in master bath and almost none at all and second Bathe sink.

Very convenient to everything!
We would stay here again.

Well kept home in Santa Fe
We stay in a few vrbo homes each year. This was the cleanest home we’ve rented this year. It was literally perfect, and I am very picky. Check in was easy, kitchen was very well stocked and although some of the items were dated everything was in exceptional condition. Enough firewood to keep the fire going our entire stay. Not really a complaint, but there is quite a temperature difference between the two bedrooms in cold temps. We put our young kids in the warm room and an extra layer of blankets on ours and we were all good. Very pleased with our stay.

Ahhhhh
Great stay with my daughter for a quick trip to Santa Fe. She is in graduate school and needed a change of scenery for a couple of days. I felt the same way. We self quarantined and made the most of being unplugged in a perfect space. It was flawless. Absolutely lovely.

Perfect location in Santa Fe
The place is quiet, very spacious and interestingly decorated. I would love to know the history of this compound. It is a few minutes walk to downtown. Since we were in quarantine, we could not really take advantage of the location but we could do take out from fabulous places known in Santa Fe. We will come back in better times.

Birthday Trip
We booked the stay for my birthday. Prior to driving out to New Mexico from Missouri, the manager called us to see if we were watching the weather. A winter storm warning had been issued for the area. She told us she would turn the lights on and the heat up ahead of our arrival. We drove all night to arrive ahead of the storm. We got there about 4 AM before it started snowing and it was so nice walking into the house with it nice and warm. After a quick nap we grabbed our coats and went out to experience Santa Fe in the snow. Being able to walk to the Plaza area and restaurants from the house was great. The accommodations were great and so was the staff. We will definately be back!!

A perfect romantic getaway. The cottage was perfect.

Didn’t want to leave!
We loved the casita! We had plenty of space and enjoyed the privacy of the complex, as well as the close proximity to all our desired destinations. We didn’t attempt to walk to the plaza, although you definitely could. I didn’t want to tackle the big hill with two little ones after a day of walking through the plaza.

One of the best VRBO’s we have rented
Close to Plaza. Easy walk. Ski road 1 block away. Great grocery shopping 5 minutes. The house was nicely appointed and immaculate. Kitchen had all essentials. Bed very comfortable. Property manager very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely return!

Wonderful and restful stay.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our condo was perfect and the grounds were beautiful! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and hope to return soon.

Peaceful and cozy
Enjoyed our stay in this cozy, comfortable, well equipped and great location to city center condo!
However; was very warm the week we were there and the bedroom window air conditioner did not cut it! Fortunately I found two fans in closest which helped immensely. Only negatives are...not a true queen bed or a comfortable one at that and the kitchen frying pans need to be replaced they are pretty scratched up! All in All would definitely stay here again in the cooler months!

Cute place, good location, would come back
My wife and I really enjoyed our week stay here in July. We sat on the porch off the bedroom multiple times, especially in the mornings . We liked the easy-open windows throughout, to cool the house down in the mornings. The A/C in the bedroom was just enough to keep the place comfortable in the late afternoon/evening. We walked to downtown a couple times and also appreciated quick and easy access to Artist/Hyde Park Road and the hiking trails. We visited with Eli in the office on a couple of occasions and she was very helpful. We always love to visit Santa Fe and then hate to leave. We'd definitely consider Campanilla again if they have availability when we visit.

Wonderful place to stay
My wife and I have stayed in many rental properties in the U.S. and other countries and we both thought this was one of the best rental properties we have stayed in. The cottage (Unit #4) had a dedicated wifi router which was nice and not something we normally see. Sky lights throughout provided natural light and pretty cool nighttime views. We had a private walled and gated courtyard in front and in back with furniture in both places. Very spacious with separate living area, kitchen and bedroom. Plentiful parking conveniently located. Although we were up a little hill we were just a few short blocks away from the main tourist area and it is an easy walking distance.

Great experience and location
We (50+ couple) stayed in a 1-bedroom unit (#4) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and worked properly. This compound is relatively new construction and well maintained, and was built with traditional Southwest/Santa Fe styling. We've stayed in other casitas in Santa Fe before, and would definitely come back to Campanilla Compound. As others have noted, it's about a 3 block walk to the plaza, so very convenient.
Our arrival was greatly delayed because of weather (arriving midnight), and the manager was very accommodating. When we finally arrived, a key was ready for us and all the lights were on in the casita making it a very welcoming experience after a very hard day.
The only caveat is that there are about 10 steps down (outside) between the parking area and the casita. Not a problem for us, but if you have mobility difficulties (or a very overweight suitcase) you may want to consider alternatives.
