We had our honeymoon here and did 4 days of NOC kayak school. This location was great to get to both sides of the state. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars and watching the deer and ground hogs come out. We knew we would heard the cars but didn’t seem to bother us plenty of time for quietness. We will be back to stay there. Loved it!

Loved that this cabin was so close to Nantahala Village Inn (great dining), Nantahala Outdoor Center, and the falls. Easy to find, clean and well appointed. Everything we needed for a restful stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Very cute, well appointed cabin. Close to the NOC. Kids enjoyed the games and said the futon was very comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the mountains and resting in this cabin. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean. There was a great little coffee shop around the corner from it. Hot tub was great before and after hiking each day.

The cabin was lovely and cozy. We took advantage of all the amenities, really enjoyed the hot tub!
The view at the cabin was fantastic and we had fun using the fire pit.
The king mattress was very firm, a bit too firm for me. Overall a nice place to call home for a week by GSM National Park and Nantahala National Forest & Gorge.

Everything was as promised and wonderful.

The cabin itself was quite beautiful. Hot tub was great. We enjoyed our stay there. However, the noise from the road below was awful. It made relaxing on the deck difficult. The traffic seems to go on no matter what time of the day.

Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. Clean and well kept, it had all the comforts of home while still feeling like we found a private spot in the woods to get away for a while. My wife and I hope to return to the area again soon and will look to book this cabin again.

The cabin was beautiful. Very clean and nicely equipped. It was convenient to the areas we went to. Tommy’s Paradise at the bottom of the road had great wings and the horse stables across the street were very nice.

The house was clean and in a perfect location for us. It looked just like the pictures. The upstairs game room was a fun addition. We loved getting in the hot tub at night after a long day of whitewater rafting. Would definitely book again!

The cabin is fresh, clean & that perfect "Cabiny" look & feel without compromising amenities. Games were so fun & the Hot Tub was a nice respite after hiking.
We brought more than we needed. This host takes care of their guests & the cabin! Will go again!

My husband I stayed here to celebrate our 3rd yr anniversary. The cabin was clean. It had everything we needed to help us relax and enjoy one another. The road to the cabin is small. The drive way is kinda steep. We drove a Jeep Cherokee and was fine. The community was nice and the people were very friendly. Bridget and Tom was very responsive when I reached out to them. The only thing I didn't really like is that you could hear the vehicles passing by when you were sitting in the living room.

We stayed on this wonderful little cabin for 6 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The weather decided not to cooperate with our scheduled plans so we spent time just laying around and enjoying the cabin. We played games, grilled, and enjoyed the hot tub. This place had everything we needed and we highly recommend it.

This review is just about the cabin and the property it sits on. The property is very pretty and we enjoyed sitting outside at times. Inside is also very nice and my wife and I enjoyed the game room very much. This cabin was listed as a "no pets" place and when we got there there was pet hair on the rug and main bedroom where we slept at. The night stand on my side was covered in a white hair that I had to dust off and the sheets had hair in them as well. Since me and my wife are both allergic to pets this was a bigger negative to us but lucky we always carry allergy medicine. The main bed was as hard as a rock but they do have a fold out couch and futon that are softer so do with that information as you will. Lasty there is a hot tube, that we didn't use. The chlorine smell was very strong which I could overlook but there is a spout that shoots out water and when it was idle and no water coming out there was a type of slime coming from that jet. I know this slime since I've had fish tanks before. Lastly and this one was the big reason we didn't get into the hot tube. In one of the bigger jets that is suppose to hit your back, there was a metal rod sticking out of it. I pulled it out and it seem to go to nothing. I left the metal rod on the counter next to the cleaners note. I took pictures of the hair and rod but the review section isn't letting me add them.

Very nice and clean property. It was cold outside but it wasn’t drafty at all in the cabin. Nice place for a young family

We really enjoyed our stay here! The amenities all worked and made the experience even better. We’re still talking about how comfy the bed was! And just an fyi for folks without 4WD, our Hyundai Accent did just fine on the drive. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Cabin
We loved our stay in this spotless cabin! Our kids loved playing on the arcade game and finding frogs in the pond and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We even found wild blackberries outside. As noted in the description, the cabin is above a main road so that did interrupt the otherwise peaceful ambience a bit when we were outside, but inside was very quiet and comfortable for our family of four. Only about 5 minutes to the NOC and maybe 10-15 to Bryson City. Great location!

Amazing rural getaway
Was a great getaway for me and the wife, everything went perfect to plan. Just make sure you make plans for your days beforehand because there is not much to do immediately nearby. But that’s not a bad thing. There is one town right next to you that is very beautiful with lots of little shops and it’s a must to go at least once and walk around

Not what was pictured not very satisfied
Upon finding the cabin it had pictured that it had a creek and waterfall/pond and there was no rushing creek and the hot tub made an awful loud noise and would not heat up so we had to unplug it to have some peace and quite otherwise all you heard even inside the house was the hot tub.

Perfect place for our week of hiking and relaxation
This cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great location for our daily hiking trips to different locations in the Smoky Mountains. The wi-fi was decent for the area. The bed was very comfortable as was the futon in the loft when my husband snored. We were overall very pleased with our choice.

Wonderful Experience
We rented this cabin for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had an amazing experience! Cabin was extremely clean. My teenagers were concerned about things to do, but they absolutely loved the whole experience especially the arcade. We also got a White Christmas which left us with incredible views. We were very impressed with how built the cabin was. It was warm and cozy while very cold outside. It was warmer than our home and the conditions in Bryson City were much colder. We were thankful that that the cabin was easily accessible in snowy conditions. As the previous review stated, they are building another cabin on the property. The other cabin they are building will be out of view, but they do share a common road and are in the process of construction. The owners were wonderful with communication. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again!

November 2020
My family of 4 stayed at this cabin 11/2-11/5. The cabin itself is super cute and clean. Having read all the reviews, I anticipated being close to a major road/hwy however did not expect the noise of the cars and semi trucks to be heard from inside the cabin. Additionally, it appears There is some sort of expansion or additional cabin under construction directly on the cabin property so we were surprised with A construction Crew at 8:30am on the 3rd and 4th day of our stay. We had absolutely no privacy as they were parked on the property directly in front of the balcony and working near the front door which overlooks the living room window- there are no curtains or blinds to even attempt to create some privacy. The construction crew left at 6:30pm on the 3rd day. I contacted the property owner who stated they reached out to the crew and they would be out of our way, however they had to work and were constantly in the vicinity of the front door/balcony to retrieve supplies from a van which remained parked in front of the balcony (pictures can be provided).I would not stay here again and would not recommend staying here until the construction is 100% complete. Even if they are working up the hill, the path the crew uses is directly in front of the cabin door/balcony. I feel the owners should have known about and communicated this construction work PRIOR to us being woken up by them or given us a chance to cancel or reschedule.
