God beliggenhet
Vonde senger, dårlig standard i forhold til pris.

Wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious room with big windows, a fan, very nice bathroom
3.0 / 5.0
Staff is very helpfull and accommodating where they can.
Closeness to train station.
No ac. But ok with fan on and window open (maybe even healthier). Very old place feels a bit stuffy. not for everyone. No easy access to lobby. Must walk stairs, can be harder with many luggage and no staff assistance in that regard.

The location was great.
The breakfast was unfortunate. For example, you got coffee from a machine. When was the last time coffee was good from a machine. And, if a lot of people wanted coffee, you had to stand in line for the machine to get done. Also, no decaffeinated coffee except with a powder and hot water. Did you ever like that?? The service was ok. The staff was responsive but in our little Hotel Jedermann we had white table cloths. In your hotel, no table cloths at all. At this price no table cloths. The Broetchen were doughy. It would be easy to get Kaiser rolls that are well baked. Also, you want the bathroom to be on the same level as the breakfast kitchen, not upstairs one level up from the kitchen. So, if you want to make a good impression each morning for your guests, focus on the breakfast and the place. Visit Hotel Jedermann in Munich on Bayerstrasse and pay the 7.50 for the breakfast. Experience it. Then go back and experience your breakfast experience at the Maximilian. Then you will no what to do. By the way, only a few TV channels worked. Really? At this price.

Just a two minute walk from the train and bus stations, conveniently located on the edge of the old town.
The breakfast was nice, with cereals, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, cheeses, fruits and vegetables.
Because of the hotels location there's a lot of noise coming in even through the closed windows. Lots of night life and a bar underneath the hotel.
The corridor leading to our room looked old and dirty, with discolored patches on the carpet maybe because of the cleaning supplies they use.
There're only 4 rooms that are for people who smoke, but if those are already booked or you want to sleep in separate beds, you have to go outside to smoke. At least the smoking area has a roof, but other than that it's open from all sides. If the weather would have been nice the lack of walls wouldn't be a problem, but with rain and cold wind..safe to say, it was rather unfortunate.
Also, and i know it's not the hotels mistake, we were woken up by some drunken idiot screaming in front of our door at 4 am.

I choose the hotel purly by it's location and the breakfast review :)
The location is very nice, only 3 minutes walk from train station and also very easy to walk to city center
Breakfast was really good, the dinning area is very beautiful, and with many choices, especially the bacon was the way i love it!

All was excellent.
3.5 / 5.0
Hotel is very well located, room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet with a good selection in a lovely dinning hall.
The hotel and especially, common spaces would deserve some refresh. Doors although functioning properly, were worn and would require a fresh coat of paint and similarly carpets in the corridor were lived in and would need replacing.

The decor in the dining room is exquisite

close to train station, convenient to city. historic, staff, thanks Natalia! breakfast was nice.
Room amenities. Bed had poking springs, storage for bags was poor, computer monitor as a TV -small and not up on a wall, tub shower not safe to get in and out of. No USB plugs for phones. not enough shelving in Bathroom. Exhaust fans were noisy. The entry plaza to the hotel was in sad shape

Beautiful old building, good breakfast
Room a bit hot, no airconditioning

All lovely. Loved the big fan in the room but it would not oscillate properly but it was still a nice touch with the heat.
Breakfast was a little sparse, especially for a Sunday.

The building has lots of history and has lots of character. it has been maintained and renovated to keep it’s original look and feel for guests.
what makes it especially nice is the staff: welcoming, helpful, professional, and some of the friendliest we’ve met. our Deutsch is not so good, and they instantly changed to Englisch for us with big warm smiles.
The breakfast room and lobby are amazing and the background music was always soothing.
The room’s bathroom design was a bit odd, but modern, clean, and functional.

The location of the hotel is a short distance from the station and close to the pedestrian area so was great for exploring this historic city. The staff were very helpful and allowed us into our rooms early to drop off our bags .
The rooms were large, modern and comfortable with high ceilings. It is a historic building and the breakfast room was stunning.
There is no outdoor space to relax and limited facilities (eg bar, restaurant, fitness room). Being a historic building there is no air conditoning, which could be an issue in summer.

The breakfast was really the part of the stay that felt most like being in a former palace. It was a lovely room with a nice variety of foods. The staff that checked us in was so friendly and super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do, plus how to get there! It was nice to be right beside a park.
The hallways looked so non-palace like and the outside seems in need of renovating. It really detracted from the whole experience. The parking lot underground seemed a little unsafe - dark and empty.

The beautiful elegant building which had not been spoiled by modernisation. The convenience for town centre and railway station. The spacious room and bathroom, the excellent breakfast.

Very good
Nothing much
