The only thing wrong with my visit is that I did not bring my golf clubs or clothes as the weather brightened which would nhave made a quick round feasible. Nevertheless the ambience, facilities, service and staff were all very good.
Nothing comes to mind except maybe the gym/pool facilities could have been included in the rate but hey ho!

Location ok. Didn't have breakfast.
Bed comfortable.
Very meagre amount of toiletries for a couple.
Was expensive for just room only in hindsight - most other establishments at that price include breakfast. Seems a bit mean to charge for a swim when staying in hotel.

The room was comfortable, views of the resort was nice.
One of the most expensive places for food and drink I’ve ever experienced… and I travel a lot. Charging an extra £3 for a small coke when we ordered brandy and coke was bad! Just use the coke gun you have ! Bar staff were rude and miserable.. unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this venue.

Nice bar area. Nice restaurant. Really nice meal. Free parking. Calm and pleasant atmosphere in the public areas.
Swimming pool was cold.
Changing room floor was dirty.
Layout of the bathroom, with bathtub, made using the shower difficult.

Room comfortable for length of stay, any additional items required for the room were supplied when requested.

Our welcome was very professional and friendly,
Staff are lovely and helpfull.
Our room was amazing, very clean, lovely layout with a view of the tennis courts .
Food was very yummy when we had dinner and waiting Staff again all very professional and lovely x
We also had the valentines afternoon tea on the Sunday of our stay, very tasty and presentation was very pretty,
The scones, sandwiches and sweet treats are a lovely combination with loads of different flavours.
Really enjoyed the whole experience of our stay.
Also visited the goat shed farm shop whilst there which is absolutely amazing place only 4 mins up the rd x
I have nothing but praise and positive feed back from my stay at barnham 😊 😃 xx
I liked everything x

bathroom was lovely, towels and robes were lovely.
lack of signage to certain areas, and no logic to the set up.
hairdryer was rattly, loud and rubbish.
not enough toiletries for 2 ppl.
location of pool was the complete opposite side of the building, from sleeping area.

The room was absolutely beautiful decorated and the facilities very clean.
The Spa area is very poor. No hot tub and a small sauna and steam room. Not worth even the £7.99 pp we paid. On arrival the pool was FULL of children and unable to use.
The Barnham broom burger we had in Sports bar was disgusting and definitely frozen. Had to send back our Expresso martini as it was undrinkable... a better one was made and bought to us.
No slippers in room to use at Spa.. although we had a robe in room. We were told it would be £10 pp for robe and slippers although we didn't even need robe, so £10 pp for cheap Spa slip on slippers.
We were awoken at 4am as we over looked carpark and got up and made a coffee as couldn't return to sleep... unaware the walls inbetween rooms are extremely thin so then had a knocking on our door. Unaware we could be heard we were left frightened and didn't open door and then couldn't return to sleep. It was only when the guests next door woke that morning we realised we could hear then and maybe that's why the knocking on our door. This is not a Spa hotel, we didn't have a treatment as they were full. Which was a shame. We are local and looking forward to our stay. We were very very disappointed and won't return.

countryside around
we arrived at night . indication led to back of the property which was locked.
we waited until someone came then led through .had to go back outside in the rain to get from reception to room

Room was large and comfortable bathroom was clean and piping hot shower much needed after a day in the ice.
Breakfast was offered for £15 with an upgrade to £20 to include continental, that's steep. It was a nice breakfast but it wasn't £15 nice. Service was excellent though.
Kitchen had just closed when I arrived just after 9 which was fair enough but no mention of a sandwich or anything of that nature from room service so had to drive back out in the ice to get something to eat.

clean well kept grounds . good restaurant and friendly staff
only criticisms would have liked bottle of water in room but staff in the restaurant did provide a jug of water and would have liked toast at breakfast brought to me rather than stand at an old toaster waiting ages for it

The staff were friendly and helpful especially at the golf shop.

Disappointing that access to the pool wasn't included in the booking.
