So wonderfully clean and everything we needed was available.
The mattress on the bed is a bit uncomfortable.

The property is located in a beautiful village which also has excellent facilities. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting some of Norfolk’s most beautiful areas. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored and is a delightful place to stay.
For us, the mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable even with the mattress topper our hosts had thoughtfully provided. Mattress-types are often a personal preference and unfortunately this one was not ok for us.

Location. Clean and cosy. Bridget backed some lovely welcoming scones for us on arrival.
Unfortunately the parking was not brilliant. The property is opposite a bus stop. . There was parking on side roads further away but no good if car needed for loading etc

This beautiful cottage has been beautifully restored and has everything that you need in it to have an extremely comfortable stay. The owners have thought about practically everything to ensure you want for nothing. We even had scones with butter and ham waiting for us on arrival! Incredibly comfortable in a lovely village setting, close commute to all of Norfolk.

It had character, was very comfortable and well equipped. It is central to a large area of the Broads and we were able to meet up and sail with our family who had hired sailing boats.

Lovely cottage that was fully equipped for all our needs and with a nice little private decked garden at the back. This was our third stay at Bakers Cottage 😃
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like

Lovely cottage, friendly owners. Sent us info in advance so knew what we needed to know before we arrived.
Fresh made scones, tea, coffee and milk available when we arrived.

Good area for walking.Small old world cottage beware of small door height!

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Everything you need for a great stay was there. Great attention to detail. Lovely little garden.
The road was a lot busier than anticipated. Ludham is not a sleepy village. Bakers Cottage is very close to the pub and was noisey on two of the five nights we were there. The pub states it closes at 10 but drinkers were still there at midnight on one evening.

Nice little cottage good local amenities and good location.
The cottage is close to a busy staggered crossroads meaning it can be fun to cross the road!

Nothing, would love to stay again!

It was small but compact and suited our needs.

wonderful cottage in great location… lovely village and great as a base to explore Norfolk broads and the coast. Very comfortable. Easy check in. Well equipped. Enjoyed scones with jam. Hosts have thought of everything… very well organised and clearly go to great lengths to ensure that occupants enjoy their stay. Lots of very useful information provided by email.. recommendation for fish and chips at Bridgestones Potters Heigham was spot on.. very tasty! Beach recommendation between Sea Palling and Eccles also good .. beautiful beach and very quiet.
Fantastic property!

The cottage was beautiful . it had everything there we could possibly need . our host had really thought of everything we could need during our stay. the decking area at the back was great especially for us to sit out for breakfast on a morning . the cottage was immaculate. the location was great , 2 minutes from the local pub, which was friendly and food was great . good position for the bus which we got to wroxham one of the days .
the mattress was a little hard for our liking .

Michael met us at the property and gave us a tour round when he dropped off the keys. We liked the fact the cottage was very central to a lovely village and within easy driving distance of anywhere in the Norfolk Broads. The village shop was across the road and had an excellent range of goods for sale and was open to 9pm each night which was handy. We really enjoyed the cosy feel to the cottage and everything had been thought through, right down to the provision of fleeces in case it was cold. We loved the outside seating area as it was lovely to sit with a cup of tea in the mornings and watch the swifts and equally at night to sit and enjoy the sun. We liked the lovely touches for example there was a book in the bedroom about Potter Heigham from days gone by which I enjoyed reading. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and we look forward to coming back.
Nothing that I can think of.

An absolute fantastic small village cottage with a huge amount amount of character! it has absolutely everything you’ll need for a night or a week. A lot of thought has gone into this property to make your stay a great stay. For example the eco side of little things such as the soap that’s a high quality eco product. And the amazing scones that really are fantastic! who needs a hotel when across the road there is a traditional english pub doing reasonable food and I noticed locally some amazing Restaurants.
in all the hosts we’re very kind and helpful.

The cottage is perfectly located for staying on the Norfolk Broads. lovely and clean with all the amenities you could need. We really loved the little decked area at the back which is great on warm summer evenings. Our hosts left a lovely welcome gift of home made scones and jam which we thoroughly enjoyed. Bakers Cottage is ideally located for the village shop, the pub and is just a short walk to Womack Staithe. This was our second stay there and we are definitely going to book the cottage again 😃
There isn’t anything that we don’t like about the cottage.

Location was for us ideal. Near friends, local shop opposite and excellent food to be had at the local pub.
Ideal for short stopover, visiting friends, fishing, boating, business visits etc. It does not have a large green garden with views just a small fenced wooden patio with table and chairs, plants and small tree.
4.5
Fantastic one bed cottage, set in village location.
You can walked to pub and have a meal and a drink, with no worries about driving back.
Great area to explore
Parking on the road. But saying that, the locals park up on the road and it was fine

All previous reviews are spot on. We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend in this cosy little cottage. There wasn't anything that the owners hadn't thought of and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
