Nice spacious rooms. Great outlook onto fliwing brook.
Meal was good value.

It was very old the sheets and towels were very thin and grey
The room was very outdated
3.5
It was roomy and quiet. Had a lovely outlook over the stream out the back.
The couch was terrible to sit in
3.5
Location to local facilities and attractions.
The early morning wake up from Tradies at 04.30 outside room having a morning yarn, with the lovely background tones of work vehicles reversing alarms, and the idling diesel engine's, no respect for fellow guests.
3.5
Nothing
Sheets were threadbare and the room was dirty
3.5
Easy -in, friendly staff..
Not so clean, dust on windows.

Good motel, clean, a little dated, lovely stream behind motel.
Didn't go to restaurant as it was booked out.
3.5
Proximity to scenic railway & rafting was brilliant
The mattress had wire springs poking out. We were told the restaurant was booked out both nights but saw no one even in there. I believe this motel is targeted to the miners who work in the area & not the tourist.
3.5
No breakfast offered
Welcomed with “The restaurants closed tonight”
Not offer of any alternative although I had prior engagement.

location
a bit of notice prior to our arrival advising that the restaurant was closed the two nights we stayed would have been nice

Fluorescent light in bathroom didn’t work.
Room was not very clean & needed to be aired.
3.5
good location, area was quiet, rooms clean and beds were not to bad, shower was excellent with good pressure and hot water
even though there was an onsite restaurant they did not do meals on a public holiday or open on a weekend, very disappointing for a tourist orientated town
3.5
It is an older motel, but very clean and affordable. We booked the superior room which was large with a sofa and table. The heating could be improved for winter times
The towels need to be replaced, old and showing signs of wear. Heating should be updated to a heat pump.
3.5
Clean and comfortable room
First interaction with staff was poor

Nice big window and outlook onto garden/ fernery. Comfortable beds. Extremely clean and spacious

It was relatively central. It was old school motel. Comfortable enough. Warm enough. But it wasn’t Strahan where we wanted to stay but couldn’t get in because of the Targa.
It was ok. There was nothing wrong with it.
