The Wonderful West of Tasmania

Laundromat next door. Great restaurant in house. Friendly staff.

Located main street, off road parking. Could use update.

Located in main street was about the only positive.

Very old and run down, requested ground level due to mobility, and was given room upstairs, no staff available at all.

Warm and homely in the winter cold.

The room was warm when we arrived, heating was great in Tassie winter. Room service was sparkling clean,.excellent job. Superb location, literally only steps away from anything.

The flimsy and cold, wet shower curtain sticking to you when in the narrow shower space. Nothing fits, not a cup, a kettle, not a palm fits under the tap in the new impractical washbasin design.

The location (right across from IGA) and the heater was on when we arrived. Very inviting. enough room for 2

shower and basin tap leaked consistently. not sure the smoke alarm worked as the light was not flashing.

Ok for a night

This motel was convenient to the town centre. An easy walk to find a place for a meal and also the Queenstown railway. IGA is across the road.

Quite a dated room. Needs some TLC. The colour scheme was yuck! Pale pink walls, pale blue walls with dark green or bright pink trims. Looks like they just used whatever left over paint they had. The tap in the bathroom leaked. Didn’t see any staff, so can’t comment on them,as the office seemed to be unmanned most of the time.

Good spot—-for budget price.

Very handy position close in town.Supermarket across the road. Good for if your on budget.Staff was very helpful.

Restaurant food was altille dear and could be better.

Disappointing

Best thing was the staff. Facilities wise, the best feature was the shelving in the shower

Room didn't look like any of the photos on website, as in the photos made the room look glamorous by comparison to reality. Room lighting was terrible. Fresh towels not provided and towel rack not big enough for used ones to dry. No one available at reception just before 5pm to address the problem

Was not pleased, had booked for two nights but only stayed one.

Lady at reception was nice.

Room smelt musty and stale, WiFi didn't work,TV kept dropping out.

Quiet town to kick back and relax.

Close to sightseeing and attractions.

There was no table in the room to eat on. And first night I got bitten by bedbugs. Could not use the wash basin properly as faucet was too close to the edge.

Unclean, old facilities. Needs pest control bugs crawling over us while we slept. Sheets with Yellow stains. False advertising as the images on Booking.com are not the same as the facility. Will never return to this place, disgraceful!

Loved the location of the motel. There wasn’t any noise from adjoining rooms or rooms on the floor above.

The location was perfect. Very central to everything.

There must have been a sewage problem. There was a smell in the bathroom.

Good facilities, comfortable, everything you need in a motel plus it was lovely and warm with the heating! Close to town so you can walk to eateries & coffee. Offstreet parking also.

Nothing really. It is an older building so expect a little bit of wear and tear but doesn't affect comfort.

The cabin was clean and comfortable.

The room did not have a dining table, and only one chair. It did have a sofa chair.
